  1. It's easy to talk about pleasant death while you're on the other side of pain. I wonder "what is pain" if you might answer. Like physical pain, not mental made problems.
  2. @Source_Mystic Aren't you being a cult for exiting this forum just because of one simple misunderstanding or mistake?! Aren't there any room for error? If that's how it works, then you must kill yourself right away if you are honest enough. We all commit errors, it's in human nature. I agreed with you on the warning post, you were very rational there, but now coming up with all this drama and emotions! Sorry and good luck.
  3. Then what is it that I'm experiencing with my chickens? So, basically, we're talking about the same thing. Fuck your philosophy bro. ❤️
  4. I love my chickens, but I'm hungry. Fuck hunger, love is my boundary. I think it's a good deal, it's ideal.
  5. @Nahm Sir, yes sir. ? Btw, does love allow cursing? @Faceless You turned out to be faceful after all. Great info though.
  6. In Darwinian terms the phrase is best understood as "Survival of the form that will leave the most copies of itself in successive generations." quoted from Wikipedia. Isn't that it?!
  7. @egolessis talking about universal love, love for everything, animals, tress, mountains, etc.. If that was the case, we (human beings) would absolutely extinct ages ago. Me and you wouldn't be here having this conversation. I think it's the battle between selfishness (ego) and selflessness (unconditional love) that keeps life going. You can't have life dependent on only one extreme. Life is a tug of war. And don't get me wrong, selfishness and selflessness are the same thing. They have no substance.
  8. You missed it too, I want my birthday present, right now! Lol.
  9. ? Who knows? Maybe the dinosaurs were very loving and peaceful ?
  10. Lol, I don't mean that. I mean physical death, and eventually extinction. If Love was our ancestors' religion, we wouldn't be here by now. Life knows no mercy, survival for the fittest.
  11. @Monkey-man Joy, mercy, love, compassion, happiness, and all other positive feelings are perceived by the Godly nature of the self. But a sense of divinty! I don't know about that. Can you please give more details?
  12. @D-tron This is only a pointer to how clueless we are about reality. You can't have the cake and eat it at the same time. You might want to turn off your conceptualizing mind and enjoy whatever is happening. ?
  13. @egoless But Love alone won't solve all your problems. Protection, for instance. Therefore, it's a death shortcut religion.
  14. @moon777light In a nutshell, it's doing what's emotionally harder. Keeping your calmness through.
  15. Because it works! And who cares about the Truth?! The point is, they have a portion of reality, they gave up the rest and took it for granted. They don't inquire their perception nor beyond. So, really what is the case? I don't know, maybe both, maybe none, maybe both and none altogether.
  16. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Names_of_God_in_Islam Check it out!
  17. @Edvin Consciousness = present awareness.
  18. @littleBIG Positive thinking, that's all you need.
  19. @Malelekakis Maybe there's a prize for killing one's self! After all, you kill you all the time, and the new you replaces the old you, just be conscious of the process. Killing yourself isn't a killing literally, it is a realization of what you really are, just like that. You can't imagine what or how much you're missing out on everytime you ignore that. I've only glimpsed that for seconds and I'm stunned by the profundity of killing one's self. There's even no you to be killed, such a beautiful thing to be.
  20. @Mikael89 Don't cling to literalism. When Leo talks about death, he doesn't mean physical bodily death. He means the death of ego, AKA self-image, the idea that someone is living inside of your body behind the scenes, it's just an idea. There's no one there, that's what we mean by life equals death, there's no 'self' living or dying.
  21. @Monkey-man In Arabic, everything that requires an effort (or struggle) is Jihad, Jihad like mentioned in the video is derived from the word 'Jahada' (جهد) which ultimately means 'got tired after struggling', when you make a 'Johd', you put in effort. In Qur'an, Jihad is linked to Allah (the sake of Allah), and the Qur'an promotes every kind of endeavour to please Allah, whether it's fighting with one's self or with others. Unfortunately, people easily misunderstand Jihad and its purpose which are really acquiring the satisfaction of Allah by sticking to his orders and letting go of 'the restricted' (Haram), no matter what. So for example, judging other people and killing them, does that make Allah (the most Benevolent, the most Merciful) pleased with me? Of course not, it's pretty obvious. Jihad is mandatory, whether it's with the self or with others or with environment. The trick here is to read the Qur'an as a whole, and not just take only one verse and try to apply it to the whole world. Radical Muslims ignore verses like: "And do not start the fight, surely Allah does not love those who exceed the limits". (obviously). "Surely Allah does not love the unjust". (obviously). "Surely Allah loves those who do good (even when treated badly)". (obviously). And they would only remember this kind of verses: "And kill them wherever you face them" (only during the battle, and of course not all the time, also obviously). Many people would object and say: well, why promoting violence in the first place? And the answer is that you as a human being, you have to defend yourself and your existence against the harmful factors out there, otherwise you're dead, this is not religion, this is the human physiology whether we're conscious of it or not. The ego has to survive. In other words, Jihad is not about offence, it's about protection, and survival (for the sake of Allah 'Truth'). Another point is, religion is not about studying or understanding the scriptures, it's about studying and understanding God. You can debate forever with an unconscious person about their scriptures, yet they will never be able to understand God, because of the dogma that has control over them. Scriptures are pointers to God (or more accurately motivators to find God), not God. But fundamentalists don't understand that.
  22. Unfortunately, physical death needs to be experienced to verify your claims or any religious claims. Faith is necessary when there's no clue. Because no dead can wake up and tell us what they have experienced. You can choose whatever beliefs you want (acknowledging that they are beliefs) and wait for your physical death to occur. There is no truth to be said about death, just ideas and beliefs.
  23. @Dream Why bro, why? Don't believe Leo, but also don't believe anyone else. Leo actually promotes life. He accepts what is, and advises you to do so. Leo can't kill you remotely through a "screen". In fact he said that you don't have to worry about others deceiving you, you have to worry about you deceiving yourself. That's not just Leo, that's the Truth.
  24. @5thPablo Start building philosophical conversations in every possible opportunity. If you feel her accepting the comments and interacting with them positively, then go deeper, until you draw a good image about your way of thinking, and then when you feel like it's safe to talk about the crazy stuff do it. She might not agree with you at first, but she'll accept you anyways. Good luck there ?
