  1. @cle103 Thank you for sharing! I had a no-self glimpse last week in my dream. I was there, I was it (for one year in the dream), until thoughts started to come up and I felt very scared that I lost control over myself, then I woke up.
  2. @Ampresus Try focusing on non-static objects, like a ticking clock, and follow along.
  3. @OmniYoga If all the signs were pointing towards hell, where would I find heaven?
  4. I failed to answer even one out of the 10 true or false questions in one exam. (there were other kind of questions).
  5. I think that's some kind of withdrawal effect. We're addicted to thinking and working, in meditation, we're doing the opposite, we're doing nothing. (cutting the heroine from the junkie).
  6. Realising that there's no free will is the first step towards realising no-self. It's a fact, it appears like something, but it is completely something else.
  7. @Pilgrim I am no expert. But, I think you should try other modes of being a girl, you know what I'm talking about. I think there's something you're missing, because deep down you think that being "nice" is the best mode to be in as a girl. So, for example, try "not listening well" to the guy you're dating and see how that'll work on him. Or try maybe changing the subject of the conversation on purpose ( just to experience) Being always "nice" gives the impression that you are too needy or at least that you value others more than you value yourself, and the partner always wants independence on the other partner side. They want to see true genuine value on your part. That applies to both genders.
  8. Lol, I'm an addict. Nature is just something else ? What questions do you use?
  9. @Belay kelemework Get real man! Imagination is not real. Jesus was pointing us towards the real devil, which is our selfish ego nature. The devil is not something other than us. Where do you find the devil very explicitly? Anger, depression, hatred, jealousy, fear. Whenever you feel anyone of the above emotions, look for the devil inside of you, see how it works, how it twists the truth for its survival. Notice how evil you become when you are afraid. That should tell you something about the devil.
  10. @non_nothing I'm happy for your permanent relief. Nice post, very inspiring! Have you been practising self-inquiry with meditation?
  11. @Belay kelemework I suggest you watch different videos more than watching the same one many times. After you have watched the video: "What is the Devil?". What do you think the devil is? If you think it's something outside of you, then check again. The devil is a metaphor for selfishness. There's no actual devil, it's just you when you only care about yourself and to hell with others. Try imagining a world where you are watching from the outside, just as an observer. That'll be God minus the devil.
  12. Check this out: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rabia_of_Basra
  13. @PetarKa A thought of a banana is not a real banana. That's all you need to remember to solve your problems. Stop believing the thought, and start looking for the actual banana. Experience the banana, see how it looks like, how it feels like, how it smells like, and how it tastes like. That will be Truth.
  14. @clouffy The fact that you asked us here, suggests that you probably are gonna do well. So don't worry, you're in capable hands. I'd say, roll with the skid. Give yourself a break, have some time with full absolute acceptance of whatever you do or think or feel, without judging or criticising. Express everything inside of you until you become completely empty, that's where you find yourself. So if you feel like screaming, do it. If you feel hungry, eat. If you feel lonely, go out with friends. If you love someone, tell them or say it to strangers (online is a good place for that). That'll release all of the stress that you've been accumulating over the years. And you'll become very relaxed and peaceful. Only then will you find exactly what you need. The point of depression is directing you to find your authentic self, which you've been running away from all the time. It worked for me, and it was very counter-intuitive. Good luck.
  15. @Highest It's like becoming a baby again. You know nothing, but in the same time, you know everything. You are one infinite field of consciousness, you are everyone and everything.
  16. @Rigel Observe figure #every_prophet: "You're gonna rot in hell and suffering if you disobey God. You're gonna be rewarded with the highest joys if you don't. That's not me being arrogant, greedy, or a liar, it is but the truth. You don't really have a choice, so pray and may God have mercy on your soul. I'm a prophet of mercy for those who believe, and of an eternal torment for those who disobey." _____ Now, that being said, results are different. You might succeed, and you might fail. You might even get killed. Are you ready to ongo such endeavour? Probably not. But you can definitely find other ways.
  17. God is the perfect word. Because it's really Wow! It's like how come I couldn't see It before? Oh my God! Amazing! Hallelujah! God implies (Infinite Intelligence + Infinite Love + Infinite Beauty) = Absolute Infinity.
  18. What if I have never experienced no-experience before?
  19. @Aakash @Ethankahn Can I talk about experiences I never had?
  20. @Ethankahn You're welcome at all times ?
  21. Science is completely accepted here. And in fact, it's the foundation of this work. Some members criticise science because it's just too materialistic in its approach to understanding reality, and therefore limited. We go beyond mainstream science and we accept more perspective. Logic is kind of flawed, but is still useful. We don't reject logic, but rather, we question it. Philosophy is good, but not good enough. It can keep you stuck in theory land speculating, without ever getting down to reality, and actually work, and embody the concepts. Feel free to ask anything on this forum, the guys here are extremely kind and friendly and open-minded. They will do their best to help others. Have a great day!
