Here where the research is most valuable, and I mean the theoretical and experimental research. Find out what works best for you through experience. Again, there's no wasting your time here, what you're exchanging is the illusion for Truth, so whatever you do, make sure it's on the expense of your free time not your work or study time. What if dropping the whole seeking process leads to all of these? What if surrendering your will and desire to get them will actually get you to them? What if accepting or at least considering that you could already be having all of them will make you realise that you really have them? What if this whole seeking process was Maya? What I mean is that these are good motives, but I think it's better to seek Truth for Truth's sake, without expecting anything out of it. Have you read Jed McKenna's book: "Spiritual Enlightenmet: The Damnedest Thing"? It will answer many of your questions. This right here is the true motive that you want to expand to help you on the path. You don't appear to be underdeveloped, no one is more developed than anyone else, development is an illusion. Asking questions is a good mark, we are all students of reality, and we have to always be open to learning from each other. Even the greatest gurus ask questions, so don't beat yourself up. You're doing just fine. -

To this old lady's necklace, the lady pries on our present moment to become young. The illusion of future. Aka the devil. -

@Anton Rogachevski ? @Nahm ? ... @Wisebaxter Persistence is key, you have to hold the belief that there's something there in order to succeed, and that's because others have done it. Don't believe your mind when it tries to make it seem pointless, everytime you ask a question, you get closer to Truth. I think that you need be clear about your motives here, what are you really after? You need to have genuine curiosity to exploring reality. And I think you do, but you need to become aware of that so it can guide you. There's no wasting your time here, what better things would you be doing in life? If you think there are better things to do, then by all means do them first, perhaps you need to fulfill some lower needs like sex and safety, I don't know, I'm just guessing here. Good luck my friend. -

I don't know, I'm not even sure they can last a short one. I myself am an introvert, and I find it extremely difficult to commit to a 7-days retreat. ... I like your YouTube channel! You seem full of love and light and so at peace. Keep it up. -
I'm not talking about a 30-day or a even full-year retreats. I'm talking about complete isolation, like living in a cave for the rest of one's life. I thought about this idea of isolating myself forever, and here's my conclusion: Don't do it with the intent of doing it forever. If you're stubborn, and you won't back up on this idea, then at least just consider returning back to normal life. Why am I saying this? Because it might give you happiness to live by yourself, but it certainly will not be as much as the happiness you get while still interacting with others. The problem with this cave thing is that it builds up tolerance to seeing the beauty of life, and numbs down your ability to feel happy because of the lack of contrast. We need the illusion to see the Truth, full Truth all the time won't be of value to us at all. After coming to this conclusion, I started to think that people who live in caves are more deluded than those who come back (whether they preach to others or not), or at least very afraid to face reality and start from ground zero. So, before you commit to something like that, make sure you have a back-up plan to save your ass if you ever wanted to come back. After all, when we die we will completely be with Truth. So, why die early? The reason I'm saying this is because I've seen some people on here talking about doing such endeavours, and I support them, but I want them to be well as well. And I know it's just my perspective, but I think one should take it into account before making such decisions. Thank you.

Nope. Have you read the whole post? I said I think people who live in caves are deluded. I don't know, but I think so. -

@Wisebaxter The guys said great things above. I'll add what I think is right. You need to do both relaxation and focusing. Start with meditation until your mind is still, then start asking questions and try to get genuine accurate answers. You can use this method to contemplate other questions as well. The main trap is thought. What you're seeking is actuality. -
Truth Addict replied to Aakash's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I didn't mean that exactly, but yeah you can say that. What I meant was that all there is, is right now, so whether it's a tomato or a potato, it's Truth. What's illusion is the thought of it when it's not there. And the illusion is real, so it must be Truth when it happens. Truth is everything right now (all the time). "But now I know" = Now is where I know. -

@Aakash I never knew tomatoes were illusion. But now I know. -
Truth Addict replied to Aakash's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Aakash This path of spirituality is irreversible. You simply can't return to materialism and hedonism, the proof is exactly your question. If you've seen it, it can't be unseen. Of course, you can do anything. But you can't do it unconsciously anymore. You've eaten the forbidden fruit of hell: Truth. Ta-da! -
Try and find out. The number one rule in this work.

@Shadowraix Bro, all language is a lie, if one wants to be truly truthful, then they must remain silent. I don't have anything against you my friend, and I think you already know the nature of language, I just think that it's better for everyone if we become pragmatic with our communication of higher wisdom, and not use it inconsiderately and naively.
-
@Shadowraix The problem with suicide is that it's done by the devil, the ego, the illusion that thinks it has free will. When one becomes fully surrendered, and aligned with God, then there is no question whether it is okay or not. It will only be pure God's will. We can't tell people to go suicide and kill others, there are plenty of unconscious minds that will use this non-dual wisdom and turn it into devilry. We certainly don't want that to happen.

Yes, you shouldn't do it because you don't have to. Period.
