One thing is visiting the east for a Westener and another thing is a westerner living in the east. Especially one of the most xenophobic countries in the world, Japan.

I have to agree that I don't think he's a good role model.

To be fair the media is most probably working for the matrix 😉 "The truth is, if you have a decent job and are not reckless with your money, you will probably be fine." 👍

I hear you and I love it but being a peasant in the black forest, must have been different than being a peasant in different parts of the world. At least what's depicted in documentaries and pictures, being a pesant didn't seem so pleasant. As of more recently, like the 50's and 60's, the black forest attracted a lot of the hippy community, just to share. .

Thanks for sharing!! Something about orange that still really resonates with me! These 'get rich quick' thingys ;P I started a very micro niche business years ago, I must admit, trying to use fear tactics to advertise. I think I was more excited about building the business than actually running it. Because once it was up and 'running', I didn't pay much attention to it anymore. Do you have any courses, YouTube channels, or resources to recommend? I've also tried affiliate marketing among other things but nothing that has given me enough motivation to continue with.

"No president will make you rich." Exactly. This became apparently obvious to me when I heard Tate say it. But I suppose an amazing president could 'get us out of this mess'? Like what RFK JR. could be. Thanks for the reminder about big cities. There is some excitement about being in big cities, but may not be the best for aligning with a rest and digest nervous system. I meet someone recently from Montana and they shared with me that they loved it. Great community, so I guess they are not in the middle of nowhere. Would you move to the middle of nowhere if you're still calling in a girlfriend or partner? I'm not saying I am but I am open to the flow. I sometimes meet absolutely amazing people that open my heart and I'm like, woah, ok, i might be open to the idea of being in a relationship with you.

Are you saying Ramana Maharshi is over looking? When Ramana refers to the I Am he is referring to the screen. The screen is the I Am. I understand that ego and the I am are all one, God. But don't you think it's important to differentiate between the two and identify as the screen, as the I AM? -
Good reminder.

I've also heard amazing things about the places you mentioned and Taos. I meet someone in my travels who was going to Brazil for a couple of weeks and ended up staying nearly a year. He really loved it. Mostly stayed in small towns. Said it was like India, so big, so many different cultures and ways in each part.

For sure I hear you about most of California. I was in San Diego not to long ago and it was a vibe. Place is a total portal. I was staying in ocean beach. Going to the drum circles most Wednesdays, DJ's on the beach having ecstatic dances. I was like woah, I found my place. That lasted a few months but felt called to leave after a while. Sounds like we're a lot on the same path. That oneness as ram dass would say. Wait, is that me? Yeah I spent a lot of time in Mazunte and Lake Atitlan. I'm super grateful for my time there, so much growth. Mexico was special, while I didn't enjoy it entirely I started having profound realizations, being by the ocean. Non-dual awakenings. I agree most of the expat community is green but imo (observation) lower stages of green. To share and shine some light, as I'm doing all this shadow work, i reflect a lot of the community doesn't see me and seems to outright reject me, a sort of shallowness. Where in Austin ime it was higher green and even yellow. People saw me and accepted me. But not as much growth on the human side. As I shared all these reflections and triggers has led to tremendous growth. At the sametime, the more growth I'm doing the more I am becoming accepting of others, realizing we're all on our own path, and meeting more and more people that are aligned. Even people that are doing there own shadow work and seeing they have so much beauty in them as well:) Btw, please let me know how Boulder goes for you!

After experiencing nondual awakenings, I'm not feeling as called to things as I used to. Everything is just one, and feels the same, literally everything. I'm not sure what I'd do, not much comes to me at the moment, I'd have to feel into that a bit more and integrate these new experiences. 💟

Are you not there right now? I'm also wondering the same. What the 'vibe' is like? Not what the news is showing. I also know it's a matter of perspective. I've asked people from Colorado, Boulder for example, and they say they are loving it. I was in Austin, and I absolutely loved it. *not sure why it's copying this older post^, fyi.

"Im looking forward to get back to the states". I'm missing the green cities in the US.

I've lived in Latin America, Mexico and Guatemala, for over 1.5 years. While i can say this started a profound shadow work journey for me (all the blue and red spiral dynamics reflections), thus leading to all this massive growth, which I'm so grateful for, I'm looking forward to and aligning with get back to the states. I was living in a green city. I was part of a high conscious, heart centered community. While I'm grateful, and keep meting more and more aligned people, I haven't found my tribe yet. It hurts to be in these places. Also I've been living in these small and powerful spiritual towns. You can definitely find safe places. I'm missing adventure.

"To navigate the modern world requires a lot of complex thinking. " Thats true Leo, thanks for the reminder. "Yellow dreams" (level yellow spiral dynamics ;P is a goal. I'm aware how I'm taking in all these different aspects and feeling overwhelmed at times, which one do I focus on, but its about flowing in and out and holding space for all of them.

I was there not to long ago. But reading quotes by J. Krishamurti and Ramana and am like well guys, I'm on a different path at the moment. Although sometimes they definitely intersect. Just felt like sharing. Incase you were wondering, the quote i just read was by Krishnamurti: "Never to be hurt means to not have a single image of yourself".

Try and find out. You have all the answers my friend.

Just lessen your spirituality practices. That's what i did. I've grown so much since doing that, in the horizontal, and at the same time feel just as spiritual or more. I feel like I've gone full circle. The yin and the yang.

Thank you!

Hey folks, hope everyone is doing so well. As the title states, do you think posting on your personal Facebook profile to gather a following is a good idea? The intention is to gather a following and eventually, sooner than later, make an offering, i.e: coaching, sell something I believe in... Thing is most of my fb friends are old friends prior to awakening, and while I'm getting better at judging myself and others less, there's still some feelings of self consciousness that come up. I randomly get these ideas of posting a random thought or spiritual idea. I've done this in the past, but wasn't consistent about it. That's another thing, i really want to feel into this before doing it half heartily as i have at times in the past and then not stuck to something because I wasn't feeling too excited about it anymore. Sometimes I get 'deep' and go to the Who Am I, nothingness, non-duality area, and not even a lot of my spiritual friends would resonate with that. Or maybe they would? Not exactly sure what i would be posting but there is some excitement. What's your opinion on this? Thanks!

In my experience Leo, it's the small steps that matter. Telling someone to take massive action who maybe has has felt resistance to taking action since childhood, since as far back as they can remember, might be overwhelming. I used to like listening to Abraham Hicks a lot for this. Her main philosophy is basically, "Feel good and then...". It took a lot of pressure off. I find myself now taking so much more action than every before. 🙏🏻
