Good point. I feel like it becomes much more effective the less fractured the psyche is. I would say it has to levels of working: the psychological way, where expressing thoughts which then bubble down into your subconscious change deep belief structures, as would hypnosis (like "I am safe", "I am beautiful" etc.). The other way is the way of grace - it is the way offering thoughts to God with utmost honesty and desire for Truth and Love, just as prayer does. In fact, the only time LoA really works for me is if it is authentically framed in an attitude of devotion, love and surrender to God. -
Doing the life purpose course right now and this is basically what it's all about. Can't believe I've not seen that obviously Truth and Love itself are what everything else must be built around in this life. Thank you for your strong guidance with this ?

This book is already so damn compact, it's full to the brim with wisdom, every chapter is short, concise and to the point

Best blog post so far in my opinion, really moved me, read it over and over again for a few days. But that "silly" and "you don't get it" attitude, which is just Leo's energy, is not resonating with me, and so it didn't have the exact effect of a loving teacher, there's just a weird energy going on - at least for me. Still extremely grateful for this ! -

Went there, too. First transmission experience so far, but things definitely start feeling "interesting"... -
@charlie cho From my experience, there are two components that informed my own emotional growth process, the second of which being directly related to your question of "sharing": Firstly, I simply learned (and continuously practice) to face whatever is true in my experience. Is it uncomfortable? Is it painful? Is it the most dreadful sadness I ever felt, the most intense fear? Learning to stay with that in every situation, and to leave it alone (not manipulating anything, not pushing your feelings away or clinging to anything) is the key practice to understand oneself. Just saying "alright, be here, I love you" to anything is telling your mind that it can trust you, that it can relax, that it is allowed to feel what it wants to feel. And if this is founded on the recognition that all is God and that any partitioning in your psyche is simply a result of not seeing that Truth and is thus withdrawing awareness and love from feelings and thoughts - then this practice is simply an application of knowing your true Self. There is no exception, it is all you, it is all to be loved and seen as divine. This is what healing is - emotions get felt for what they truly are, energy moves and transforms, and understanding happens. It's mostly observation, love and curiosity that is needed, together with knowing your Self. This is not only good for emotional mastery, but for inquiring into your whole psyche and God itself. Secondly, there is social contact. I feel extremely fortunate for being with people in my life who are greatly sensitive, have huge, open hearts and who are oriented towards Truth and God and with whom I share the recognition of our united Being. There is regular sharing of whatever wants to be shared. No shame, no judgement, no expectations. For example - if I feel very sad and there is a feeling that I should feel happy right now, and there come secondary reactions of feeling I'm doing something wrong for feeling this etc. - this is something that I would share with these people. There is as much space as necessary to express this, and there is no expectation about others commenting on this, giving me advice etc. It's like the practice above, but just in a community: simple, honest, loving observation based on Truth. Everything else happens organically. To be able to have this social environment definitely deepened my emotional clarity and the skill to surrender into and feed our collective field of Self Realization and Love. I learned so much about myself, others, and our collective dynamics. This is fucking powerful. In such environments, together we heal faster and our consciousness is multiplied. I wish for every being to have such spaces, and I think we can work towards that

Most in life, I love that THIS IS, that I AM, that there is being anything at all - the infinite mystery, majesty and beauty of life itself, of God, of love, of I. Pure, impossible awesomeness. Looking into the ever-present mirror of my Self wherever I look, and thinking "you improbable, sweet little beauty - I love you. Thank you for being".

So beautifully written, Love pours through every word. Thank you ??♥️

@Consilience Wow, what an amazing post, thank you for sharing your lovely journey and insights. Somehow this hit home for me since my focus seems very similar to yours. Inte-fucking-gration!! It's key and it totally transforms consciousness/sadhana just as consciousness/sadhana transforms the integration. -

Meditation is not a technique and not a means to develop capacities - as long as you want anything out of it, it is not meditation. Yeah sure, it is called meditation by many still, but I would call them mental exercises. Mindfulness, concentration etc., all fine but I personally don't regard them as meditation. Meditation is silence, stillness, bathing in what is, excluding nothing, focusing on nothing, simply being. It is the subtraction of all that is added on top. We are walking around as a pile of neurotic mental activity. When we allow it to simply subside by just sitting and being, Truth shines ever brighter and God enters the heart. And there, it simply rests. That is meditation, and it is the most essential thing because it is our natural state. No amount of God realization through psychedelics will change that - meditation might be the state you will find yourself in more and more. I like the word silence almost better than meditation. -
It's not so simple - contemplation can be a trap and addiction as well. The deepest contemplation happens beyond thought, so maybe look into why you can't let go of thinking when you set out to meditate. Well the point of this book, and some others, is exactly to direct your attention to immediate experience and show you what it means to contemplate. Just as a guided meditation doesn't meditate for you, but if you let it sink into consciousness, it shows you how to see.

I don't do all of that every day. At the moment I'm on semester break + sick leave so I don't do anything besides spiritual work, social life and being a bit lazy. My challenge is now to structure my life in a way that I can still meditate 2 hours a day, do some of the other practices, but also study, work my part time job and work on my life purpose. It's not gonna work the way I'd like, so let's see how it's gonna evolve. I decided for myself that spiritual work is my top priority and that the other stuff needs to be aligned with that, not the other way around. I'm gonna test the practicality of that. -
Have you read The Book of Not Knowing by Peter Ralston? It's a great guide to deconstructing your epistomological workings through direct experience. It's very hands-on in that it shows you what it teaches through immediate practicing / contemplating.

What I find most useful is to drop all thought about love and just dive into the feeling of love. In the general sense, this feeling at some point definitely transcends what we usually call "feeling", but somehow it's still a most useful pointer to what to go for. Allow your attention to engulf your whole body for a while, maybe do some breathing meditation, whatever grounds you in your body and builds a soft but powerful presence / focus Feel into your chest area. Feel what's there. Even if you don't feel anything there for a while, just be curious and feel this space. Just like you would watch your breath, watch this area inside your chest. Be soft but curious about it. At some point, there will appear a warm, wonderful feeling. Depending on how closed your heart generally and momentarily is, it might feel like the faintest spark or the most intense firework. Just focus on the feeling, don't try to intensify it, but allow yourself to fall into it, to surrender to it. What helps opening your heart is the following: upon the in-breath, focus on the feeling and imagine it to be the sun, or a colored light source with immense brightness. While you breath out, feel this energy radiate with the intensity of the sun, all around you into infinity. Maybe start slowly by feeling it travel from your chest into your whole body, then beyond the body, then further and further into infinite space. Do this for a while and your heart will open. Now just bathe in that immense love, and see that it is drawing you in like a black hole, welcoming you to surrender to it. When emotions come up, investigate them and allow them to be engulfed and swallowed by the love. That's it. No need to think your way into this. Feel. Open your heart wide. ♥️

It's more than clear to me how much it does. It repeatedly charged me up with Shakti/Kundalini beyond any doubt. Plus, it sure helps the hormone system and addictive circuits that you might have (I do). But it's like altered states of consciousness, I can't prove it to anyone. I just know it's the healthiest way. Not forever, but as a tendency. -

At the moment: 2 hours of meditation (resting in silence / self inquiry) daily Gratitude, prayer, self love, contemplation (morphing into each other) A few kriyas, but not a full routine, just ~10-20 minutes Wim Hof + Alternate nostril breathing Journaling, mostly by speaking out loud IFS therapy (reading about it + implementing self-therapy sessions) Self massage / myofascia work Semen retention (despite having relapsed, back at it) Guided meditations / poetry Deep sharing and opening up in a spiritually/love imbued social group -
Quality post, thanks for sharing this ?? We should all read over this from time to time

The death of the cell would only be "bad" in its view if it mistakenly took itself as separate from God. Love is what is, the oneness of all existence. It cannot be explained, it's God itself, and God is everywhere. If you wish to find out about this, go deep into self inquiry and meditation. Look for yourself, for where "you" start and end, look everywhere, and see what happens when you can't find anything that's actually a separate thing, anything that could be called "you". There is only God = Love. -
@Klara To add to the already amazing answer, the one voice that is truly yours is, in my experience, something that needs uncovering and development. It's the integrated part of your true Nature, what is sometimes called the "personal essence". It's important to know that this essence/voice can be recognized: It loves all of you and all of life unconditionally It feels like a gentle, untouched innocence It has complete compassion with your own confusion, suffering and deception It feels as if the "other voices" of your psyche dampen or numb this voice. It's very delicate and it's easy to overlook, especially in the beginning With that in mind, maybe it is easier for you to discern when a voice is NOT that essential part of you. On another note: your feeling state might tell you more about that part of you than any thought. Try to feel into your honesty, into your heart when you think about a certain decision. I know it's not easy, but you got this, trust your Self

Yes same here, sometimes it won't even connect.

In its archetypal ideal, I would say fiction is a mirroring of creation itself, showcasing and indulging in the one Beauty of reality. Whatever it shows can be seen as a highlighting of beauty, a teaching, an attempt at transcending form through the fiction medium itself, or a focus on any aspect of the dream of reality. In its neutrality, it can reveal beauty through a subjective lense, a unique perspective. I think fiction can range from celebrating, studying or contemplating the most overarching theme - like the process of awakening - to the most specific detail of reality (like the process of letting go of attachment to a specific thing, or the beauty and elegance of a certain virtue, or simply the meditative observation of simple life from one perspective)

Yeah man, this is no joke. I have had these for years now, mostly on psychedelics, which felt like short electrical overpowering of my whole system, like a fraction of a second. As if the matrix was glitching. The more I would look deeply into the eyes of existence, the more frequent that would become. It's scary, but it's also so fascinating. I can't seem to find it, but I think I've heard it in Buddhism, that with exceptional focus, you can discern the constant arising and cessation of sensation itself, thus making clear how impermanent form really is. -
