peanutspathtotruth replied to Demeter's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Demeter No matter where one is and what one ingests, if you listen intently, reality will always lead you to work on the ignorance that is important in that specific moment. Having any expectations of going into „higher realms“ is exactly what will hold pure, open discovery back - that‘s what limited me for a long time at least. How psychedelics work changes depending on what one has understood and how much one has purified. This is a journey we all need to go through one step at a time. So don‘t rush, take your time, and trust that when you sincerely look into your experience, you will find out what you need to find out at any given moment. This humility and openness is what paradoxically gets me much deeper than I often expect, even without psychedelics. -
JESUS... Best so far

Definitely I've never been religious, so I think it might be different for others, but - as soon as this method introduced itself strangely into my life, the words "holiness", "divinity" started making sense. -

I read an excellent chapter of Almaas' Diamond Heart Book 5 yesterday where one student asked about the role of prayer. He said that prayer can be extremely helpful (depending on the person and its psychological makeup) as long as one is not fully realized. So it's easy: being humble and honest it's easy to see if that is the case. But what he also says is that as soon as we are almost there, we need to drop it. We need to drop every single teaching, belief, method, whatever. The last inch is surrendering everything. And I feel "prayer" is an alignment into the orientation of honest willingness to surrender to what is real. -

@LfcCharlie4 I think you're making very good points here. Even when the I-thought is literally absent, there can be a tendency which will still happen. So these things need to be adressed. But there is also another point, which is very subtle but important: When we talk about what we're doing here, it's not really only awakening. Most of us (I hope) don't see an end point. We are embarking on the endless journey of maturation as a Godly being, whatever that means. There is naturally also personal transformation that is necessary. We are even a personal vessel for God, even though we are not identified with it. And that will have to be worked through. Awakening(s) are very specific insights into the nature of reality. They don't magically erase everything else. So when some speak about awakening, they mean the whole thing: maturation, fulfilling our full purpose. Others really only mean enlightenment. Looking at teachers, I see a clear correspondence between this complete view of the work and how the teacher is embodying it. -

@An young being And if you can't authentically love even your ego - when it is obviously your ego trying to do something right - inquire into why that is. Why are you trying to do anything? Any thought and internal movement, in any direction, why are you taking it? You will find your way. Blessings to you <3 -

Thank you <3 That's exactly how I "try" to tackle this as well. Beyond all concepts of what one should realize. -

I haven't seen that much yet, but I feel he is at times trying to reframe everything that is said into his own framework. Which is probably great for his own synthesis, but it also sometimes feels like it is a forced try at grasping something that maybe he doesn't understand yet. Anyway, amazing format! -

I really liked the first Hameed Ali interview, as well as the one from Karen Johnsson (they together formed the Diamond Approach). I found her authenticity and openness quite refreshing -

And what about smoking synthetic? I'm still wondering if (and if yes, why) you seem convinced that plugging is better? I mean "better" is really relative and I also think it depends on the person and the goal. But for me, and I tried both ROA's multiple times, smoking is way more effective at getting me right into the truth. I've had what you describe in your video - the realization that if I now let go, everything will disappear. And it did, and I still came back afterwards. I don't think it's that rare for people who seriously work with the substance. I'm wondering if this is also due to smoking being shorter and more intense than plugging. When plugging, my ego structures seemed to see it coming and found the most sneaky ways to make me unaware, thus reinforcing resistance. -

In this interview he teases some things he wrote about in "Runaway Realization", which was not finished when the interview was held. One of the deepest, most big-picture books I've ever read, highly recommend. It definitely put Leo's views in perspective for me. Almaas really makes the most sense when you have a larger understanding on his teaching. -

As @Rilles said - you're not in control. The question of how to let yourself be falls away the moment you relax. What can you do? Look deeply into your experience. Be curious: "What is actually going on here?". Don't think about it, just listen to all phenomena. Don't manipulate it. Manipulation will happen -> don't manipulate the manipulation. But you will. And on and on it goes. At one level of resistance, you will stop resisting the resistance. But that will only happen if your consciousness (not the you you think you are) really sees and understands why the resistance is the problem itself. It's the reason "you" can't let go. So really, just be very present without force and leave yourself alone. No matter how much you fight, no movement of your mind will make that go away. See that it's hopeless and your consciousness will rest in seeing that. It's not you who has to accomplish anything. -

Exactly 1 to 2 hours a day - enlightenment will come when within 33 days in a row you don't deviate once from your object of focus. Was your question serious? If yes: forget the notion that any amount of whatever practice will get you enlightened. For your own good. Nevertheless, you'll have to figure that out for yourself anyway I personally found concentration on an object of experience (or the WHOLE experiential field at once) is the most effective practice there is. It's hard. Don't hope for any tool to help you here. The thing is, once you built a good amount of concentration, the effort starts falling away. But really, concentration is only one capacity out of many you need to develop to understand your experience. But it is a very important one to even start. -

Nature, exercise, healthy food. Also, Yoga Nidra works wonders for working energy through the body and thereby grounding you. Also, don't try to hold on to any "shift in consciousness". Just be here now. Don't make it harder to come back than it is Here is a Yoga Nidra channel I highly recommend -
What are others experiences of N,N-DMT since they tried 5-MeO? For me, since I had some breakthroughs on 5-MeO, my DMT trips have become very similar to 5-Meo - direct, deep, more "clear". I never had much of a visual reaction to psychedelics, but DMT for sure was one hell of a 5D experience before 5-MeO. Since 5-MeO I'm having no visuals whatsoever on DMT. There are weak inner visions but I'm not focused on those, and they completely fade away very quickly. Do some of you have similar experiences?

I have to say, now after 10 days.... a lot happened and is still happening inside. Martin Ball says in the book that where you see your progress is how much responsibility you take as God in human form. And that's what I missed for years, and I knew it. I missed some foundations, mainly with my career. And now it looks like I'm gonna take a route I never thought I would go into. I'll get back to university, get a degree and learn on my own on the side, and I'm actually interested in success. That was something I always argued about with myself, basically telling myself success is unconscious and will never fulfill me. Yes, eating will also never fulfill me and I still do it - because it's nice I really needed that. I feel like I'm catching up on some life basics. Feels amazing. Also, I have to say I really changed socially. It also has to do with the fact that somehow I feel very disconnected to most people since the trip, even my best friends in a way. I feel drawn to a more solo time at the moment. It's really strange, I used to be a very listening and always open guy, and now I seem to close down a bit. Might be a temporal reaction or also the recognition that I have to set boundaries. Just wanted to share that, since I see here the very effects of this psychedelic so directly in my everyday life, it's crazy. And also a little scary.

Why do you think that it's a must?

Amazing report, what a beauty. Very happy for you, you're inspiring Keep going!! Just a general question, also to anyone else reading: I want to implement a practice again for integration and consciousness raising. Right now I'm doing inquiry kind of 24/7 and do nothing meditation one hour a day. Should I get into concentration meditation again (i do have The mind illuminated here) or should I go for Kriya Yoga? I won't be able to do both. I feel the practices are not essential for realization, but certainly for integration and developing the mind to embody the realization. What are your thoughts? -

I'd say we do But why? Because we want to fit into our surroundings. It's a choice, all of it. And you're so right, it's important to see that there is no other, bad guy named society out there. It's our choosing, even if it's long ago and often times happening subconsciously. Playing the victim of society has never helped for sure. -
peanutspathtotruth replied to Nak Khid's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Nak Khid It's a bit like standing up as what one can not unsee and boldly spread that in the way one lives. So it's about reminding oneself "Oh I'm deeply in this worrying process, but wait what did I see about the truth of it? What can I see now? And if not, why am I not seeing it. Am I seeing that this struggle is real as clear as when I saw that it's not actual?" This is hard. As you said, it's a choice. To be bold, authentic, truthful and brave. It's the kind of faith based in the truth you see yourself being. -
peanutspathtotruth replied to ROOBIO's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
The illusion is sad, but the underlying truth is extremely beautiful, even within all the toxicity that we got ourselves in. It's also less sad when you see it's not intentional - people just don't know better. It's their world view. What one can do is to let yourself and others know how beautiful you are. How I view attraction has changed so so much, despite having preferences of course, I do find everyone attractive nowadays - or more accurately, full of beauty. I'm not talking about sexual atttaction here, but even there I feel like my heart opened to find many more people sexy and attractive than ever before. As Leo once said, even a dog turd on the side walk is beautiful. Everything is. And every being is a work of magic, wonder and utter beauty. Let them know ?? Because they can't see it themselves.
