Great! Then surrender fully ? I call surrendering true bravery, without a someone to be brave -

To accept that is a beautiful step. We are all so damaged and so scared to admit it. How amazing that we're brave enough to take this step and honestly wish to heal -

Ultimately, what @Tim R is saying. But it's funny because the ego can use exactly this realization to justify not taking responsibility. A healthy mind, while grounded in the being that is not identified with that mind, can take control of thoughts. On the other hand, some teachers (like Shunyamurti) might even say that you as the true Self can in some way rise above the mind and still its activity through your deep realization of its true nature. I'm not so sure about that from my own experience. But I would say this topic is quite tricky and has many levels of insight and integration that need to be considered. -

Have your fundamentals down Be in a grounded situation in your life and in your present experience Follow a safe, responsible and healthy protocol Integrate your trip fully Be absolutely, 100% honest with yourself - you feel it's too much? STOP; You feel you're escaping life? STOP, etc. Surrender fully to the experience, aka don't buy into your mental fantasies - the substance will show you when you're abusing it, but you have to be willing to see it when it's the case and take responsibility for its implications -

This is where the work gets tough and where a lot of spiritual bypassing is happening. You're falling into the right direction This is true shadow work. I'm in the middle of it myself, it's getting more intense the more I invest in spiritual practices. A recommendation: Never ever EVER forget that nothing inside you is wrong, unlovable, undesirable, guilty, shameful, ugly etc. This is a belief I had to crack recently - the only way to heal and unite every little fractured part of you is to see clearly what they are. They are perfectly lovable, but haven't been reassured. They are perfectly desirable, but have been made insecure by others' rejection. They are perfectly beautiful but doubt themselves due to external judgement. Granted, these parts become dysfunctional, and in this regard they may develop behavior that is unhealthy - a grounded "guilt" in this sense can help you recognize that. But no judgement or condemnation whatsoever is appropriate. Only 100% love, compassion, understanding. We only have to be nuanced, transparent and honest enough to use this fire of love skillfully. Mental harmony can be very very beautiful to experience - and I am starting to feel that it is an absolute necessity for deep, sustainable and embodied consciousness work. -

I'd say the key here is that, when you're using language, you are clear about where you're going - not for the language/concept itself, but what it is actually pointing to in your own experience RIGHT NOW. So use language for understanding, it can be helpful, but always eventually relate it to direct experience. What you discover in your experience might then clarify something and update your previously held concept about it. In this way, the conceptual framework and the direct investigation enhance each other. Direct experience is king, but as far as I can tell from your description, you're having a solid way of cognitively juggling and integrating perspectives, which is important as well. Now take it all the way -

Contemplation can come from a deep desire and curiosity to KNOW, and thus be initiated through posing a question, which is then surrendered to experience itself It can also spontaneously arise out of silent sitting, in fact I would say that silence often leads to contemplation and contemplation often leads to silence It's a dance between holding the curiosity and letting go of trying to go anywhere Love for the truth (= for yourself) is like steroids for contemplation Contemplation, and the understanding of the process of contemplating, deepens with your depth of consciousness. It is a self-revealing process. I second this, for me personally journaling/contemplating aloud is most powerful. I start contemplating what God is and quickly fall into silent, curious being. I think the most important point is this: Your experience right now is where you can start your contemplation. All is truth, and so every facet of your experience can ultimately lead you to what reality is. But along the way, it can shed many false beliefs. So although "Who am I" is amazingly potent, it's also fine to just start with the sensation of gravity the sensation of pain the substantiality in your experience the feeling of density the difference between one thing and another All these are direct, immediate things you can contemplate. Allow these things to reveal themselves, don't look for a specific answer, and you're bound to arrive at deep insight -

I agree, such an amazing interview with such a beautiful atmosphere from both! -

I really resonate with your posts, I'm undergoing some pretty deep healing at the moment, and this is exactly what I found. The knot itself is built around rejection. It is the belief of a bundle of energy that it is not loved by the all = is not one with the all. It's the belief that one is unworthy, undesirable, not wanted by God. This feeling of rejection, strangely coupled with the feeling of separateness is the root of it all. And then there is fear of releasing that belief. I'm not sure if the fear of traumatic dissolution into oneness is primary and thus created the separation, or if the trauma of believing to be separate and unloved is primary and thus created the fear of dissolving that belief. -
I have the same impression, but I haven't watched much of him, don't want to jump to any conclusions. But I don't resonate with his energy as far as I can tell.

Yup I can confirm. Once noticing the knot, you really understand how painful it is to keep this theatre up and running. -
I don't think they discovered it, isn't it the same as in Germany and other states, that all analogues of tryptamines are automatically included in the ban?

Amazing! Looking forward to your report. And yeah same, I just started, but already explored and wrote out about 5-6 parts, and already did two spontaneous sessions that went deep - like even healing an exile already. Amazing stuff. -

I feel you ? This damn sneaky magician. Remember, trust, love and laugh. I can't unsee what I've seen, even though I tell myself that. I don't need to be in God consciousness to know that this right here is an illusion. At the same time, I cultivate my love and will for going ever deeper into truth, because that is my natural inclination. You can't lose at this game, and to perform the magic trick is God's choice - your choice. Maybe you enjoy the illusion so much that you want to keep on exploring and experiencing yourself this way. Maybe you want to blind yourself so much that you create the utmost challenge to re-find yourself - and you love the game of hide and seek very much. God is playful -

There was recently a thread on IFS (Internal Family System) therapy, which inspired me to work with it. It understands that we have indeed multiple parts - many of them - with their own voices and own agendas. It teaches you how to recognize and work with them, how to heal them and allow them to stop their extreme behavior and instead take on healthy roles. All of it leads to psychological harmony, all of it only works through love and compassion and curiosity from the true (personal) Self. Consciousness work is like a cheat code for this kind of work because you can easily fall back into Self and see more clearly how your mind functions. This, in my opinion, is the pinnacle of shadow work. -
They scheduled an interview already

I'm so NOT looking forward to this seemingly endless discussion about meditation vs psychedelics... Also considering that Frank is going to talk to Curt soon and this will bring up a whole new bunch of people saying "These psychonauts are so deluded." It's hard to stay on this path, but I've once again decided that this is for me. Serious meditation every day all the way, it's incredibly important and powerful - but I want to honor the power of peak states. Because the question is so much deeper than simply "is this experience constant or not".

Jesus Christ ? I laughed hard at this, thank you! This forum in a nutshell. "How can I be healthy" - "Health is an illusion!!" "How do I mediate?" - "There is no meditator" Come on.... -
Hmm not really. You internally say a sankalpa (intention for doing yoga nidra - could be seen as an affirmation) three times before and three times after the session, which amounts to ~30 seconds, the other 30-90 minutes are body scan and exploring different ways of sensing your perception, imagination, direct consciousness etc. And yes, you are in shavasana, and you don't move (!)

Wow, this is very insightful. Thank you very much! I was feeling this conflict of voting to get the "best possible coalition today" or voting for the most conscious party. Somehow, the former feels kind of wrong, because I'm not directly signaling that I'm supporting the party I actually want to rule. It's good to know that it still helps. Especially regarding your last point, at the moment I'm inclined to vote for Volt. Thanks again, I'm really new to all this! -
