Yes, but it's kind of less confusing to say consciousness instead of person. When we say person we might think - seperate, has problems, likes and dislikes... But yes, when I became conscious of God, my reaction was - wow, reality as a whole "has a person" -
I agree. It's so good.

@Mjolnir I was thinking about how to answer your questions, but I think it just comes down to you starting to feel. Simply. No amount of my or any other's words will help. You don't want our words. You want to start feeling, yes? And that will not happen through us telling you something, that must happen in your body. You are the one who has access to your body. So look, since this might not be helpful too much Commit yourself to feeling more. Whatever it takes. See? Forget about your stories, which tell you that you don't know how, that you can't etc. Maybe it's like that now, but you can find a way. You see, the willingness the intention the decision to do it yourself is what will open the door to feeling! See how you asking us about feeling, wondering about it etc. is exactly NOT feeling? Come on, man. FEEL. Do it, now. You can start, and if it doesn't seem to be working, keep going, keep going with your absolute fucking unwavering commitment to start feeling no matter what. It is your life, for real. (See that mindset?) Good luck PS: oh and be kind to yourself as you do this (it's volnurable stuff)

@andyjohnsonman I go for growing up and cleaning up (shadow work), because I see that staying in a very present and still state, denying Life (living life) does not work in the long term. I was, and you might also at some point be, brought back to the body and society to work through stuff that was left behind. And I am glad. That means freedom everywhere, not only in the empty and detached state. It means being free and fully enjoying the body to the very bottom. It means being free and being so close and intimate with people. It means, yes, dying fully, but living fully also

@ivankiss Did you get to the root of your sexuality? To what drives us at the very, very bottom of our bodies? To that, which causes passion (and twisted passion like compulsion and addiction) to arise? -
Yeah, it was really good.

Here I was trying to explain what consciousness is in the simplest way possible:

'King, Warrior, Magician, Lover' was really good for me as a man (to understand man). Maybe you might also like it?

I think this is pretty cool:

@kagaria a quote from a book I love: Seems like something you are experiencing, no? This book stresses, and very wisely I think, that health is not about doing some form of exercising that your culture presented you with as beneficial. Health is about developing a relationship with your body. Clearly your body is telling you here, that you don't have the extra energy to spend for working-out. You might consider working-in (as the book calls it) - that is Tai-Chi, Qi-Gong, Breathing, etc. Have a look at the book and the author, if this speaks to you. He has lots of good videos online also. This might be helpful:

@MjolnirI was once given this advice, that the Advaita (classical ones) people use devotional practices to transform negative emotions into devotion. Maybe give that a shot? Pick up a mantra and chant it (to God) with passion. Try to pray with passion. Passion is the keyword here. You could try praying (or just wishing, intending) for your emotional health to be back if that's important to you. Just do it with passion, that is what I hear you asking for. Hey, take the word passion and really go into this, feel what it is, from the very bottom of your body. It might be that you will have pain, or cry, or shake, or none of that. It is quite possible that you will FEEL Try it out. Ignite that passion within you! It's waiting!

Here is a video I created with the help of a friend (in other words - Here am I being raw and vulnerable and shaking with fear ). I hope someone can find it useful.

@PenguinPablo Yeah, I know the feeling, take a look at my old topic: Maybe just take care of yourself for now, see what your life most needs at the moment and soon enough things will clear up for sure

so try this. Go find a nice, comfotable place in nature, far away from the hustle and bustle of civilization. Take your time, be that for an hour maybe. Sit and watch all around you. Watch the trees, the ants, the birds. See the life. Notice the death also. All around you. All is dying without making a fuss of it. See that life and death are perfectly matched, they are friends actually. See that whatever you believe about death, which makes you afraid, is really not grounded in reality. It's ok to die, it's natural. It's why life is so sweet

also 'A short life of Sri Ramakrishna', 'A short life of Swami Vivekananda' and 'A short life of Holy Mother'. Very short ebooks ,especially loved the first two. You can get them for free with Google Play ebooks (I read it on an Android phone). https://ebooks.advaitaashrama.org/

@Austin Actualizing You need to wake up the body! Awakening of the body! Kundalini, chi kung, breath this kind of stuff... but really the awakening is vital. I think I even read in one of Leo's list books that 'you will never, never be healthy without awakening the kundaini'. That is what I mean. If your body is still blocked at the bottom most level, no way you can be healthy. + ... maybe the more you advance spiritualy and don't embody the energy, the worse it gets.

Theodor Roosvelt's was great. Yogananda's "Autbiography of a yogi". So good. Just reading Alan Watt's "In My Own Way". Awesomeness
