What sort of breathing techniques do you recommend? -
Sounds reasonable. Thanks, I have been struggling with the scale

Do e.g. 20-30 minutes of microcosmic orbit practice, and then, when your mind is nice and calm do e.g. 10-15 minutes of inquiry (like 'What am I?', 'What is reality?'). That's a formula for good success in both these fields, I think -

In deep meditation the body tends to relax a lot. and you can sit and sit and sit very comfortably. -
Great news, thanks.

It's probably been asked, but is both freebase and HCL ok for plugging?

I just tested smoking NN-DMT on mushrooms. During the peak of a 2,5g mushroom trip I smoked a bit of changa. Probably less than a half of what I usually need to break through. It was very smooth, elegant and successfully got me there. Seemed like the perfect combo.

@Aakash @Leo Gura Yeah, I'm not so sure about that, guys. Some of the most profound experiences I had were around awakened masters and without them necessarily saying a thing. Of course, it is yourself that you find and that produces these experiences, but for some reason, the presence of an awakened one on the outside seems to triggers it. That's what they call shaktipat or darshan.

Yeah, probably, but consider how powerful it could be to help awaken those who don't have 5-MeO. As I understand it, that is how spiritual transmissions work - the master goes into such a high state of consciousness that it leaks out of him and the student catches it by osmosis.

I'd propose let's just pray each one of us individually, as we can. Maybe if @flowboy wants, he can ask and we can organize a thing for him -

@Preetom Are you familiar with Rupert Spira's 'Yoga Meditations'? He claims, that staying as awareness is just one part of the journey (in) and going into our perceptions, thoughts and sensations (out) is needed also to go full non-dual. What do you think? -

You can do it, man -

Oh! One more thing! A cool thing one teacher told me is, that spiritual practice (and this commitment also I guess) is not what leads to awakening, but rather it's the symptom of awakening. It's just what happens When we see there was never a doer, it is obvious that this was the case. But yes, these stories and paths of committed masters are epic, no doubt about that. -

I don't think this kind of commitment is something you can muster. It's not really a matter of personal will, I think. The path is such, that at some point truth becomes all you crave. There is nothing more important and every moment away from truth is just too painful. It's a natural feature of awakening, I think. -

Chris Bache, a psychonaut who regulary took heroic doses of LSD for 20 years, talks about the consequences and why he stopped. His energy systems were fried, body really messed up. He could not stand coming back down to mundane existence. (56:40) Take notes from a fellow explorer! -

@Preetom Great! Did you reach 'the irreversible real deal'? -

Hi! I guess you are aware that Leo proposes 5-MeO-DMT as a great path to enlightenment. The idea seems to be, that if you experience these deep mystical states induced by the substance many times, eventually you will reach enlightenment. What do you think about it? -
Every time you read, notice that what is happening is an interaction between the book and your mind. Like this, reading is not only receiving information, it is also a process of watching your mind reacting to that information. It becomes deep consciousness work.

Just remembered this. -
dmt is fast and strong. Hits you like a train. Still, big doses of LSD, especially in a darkroom setting, can get you to a similar place I think.

I smoked changa about 10 times. Changa is not pure N,N-DMT, it's a mix of herbs, but it contains the substance also. Every time I smoked it, I had the classic DMT fractal vision, but only for a few moments. The important stuff is what would come after. Today's trip: Today I hit the greatest breakthrough with changa! I smoked it in a bubbler and managed to take the entire 100mg in two hits. Right after and during smoking, fractal vision came on very strong. I managed to put down the bubbler safely What happened next is very hard to put into words, or mind for that matter. Actually, impossible. Literally. I'll try anyway, maybe someone will find it interesting and try it for themselves. First there was Nothingness. No time, no space, no existence. From there the Grand Design was reveled. It showed how this reality we live in is made. It comes from that Nothingess and manifests itself through grosser and grosser forms. I perceived these as separate beings which governed the creation. It goes down, down, down... all the way to this place! To my life! The moment I came back all the way to my life was very confusing. The mind, which was gone for the entire revealing of the Design, came back and was very confused. It took me a few moments to realize what happened. That I was in my room, had a body, smoked DMT. I was down on the floor. What followed was a 20-30 minute flood of intellectual insight along with symetrical body movements, humming, toning and releasing. Along with this, deep spontaneous pledges and prayers for full surrender were made to the Absolute. It was beautiful. Never before have I seen the Design quite like this. That is my main take away: it is all a design! It's a fiction! Me believing that I and the world is real is absolutely absurd and really, impossible! It's a joke! It's impossible! The human existence is both so beautiful and so tragic at the same time. I also realized, that when Leo says that it cannot be grasped, or that you cannot understand it etc., that is so. Literally! It cannot! But, the mind is usually just not willing to open up fully to that kind of possibility. It thinks it gets the full ramifications, but it doesn't. What I described is really nothing. It doesn't even resemble what the experience was. Oh well, I tried...

This is a great short book/poem about pure nonduality. Written by the Third Chinese Chán (Zen) Patriarch Jianzhi Sengcan. I recommend it highly for contemplation, for giving up the illusions you are stuck in. You can find it here.
