  1. @Truth Addict It's sure is. Existence is weird
  2. @Michael569 no i don't have any teeth marks. But it's definetly anxiety based. I do bite my cheeks. Now I think of it quit an amount of nervous ticks
  3. @tsuki For me it's exactly the same it's me trying to improve them and get away with the scabs. I can stop myself from bitting my nail now but I found myself bitting the skin more than before. it's quite unconscious indeed. I don't get why it's so difficult to break this habit.
  4. @hamedsf You mean on working on my body awareness or...?
  5. Having a choice and no choice is a duality and both positions can be taken. I think this is one of those things that go full circle if you keep one way or the other. So you have free will and at the same time you don't, so just drop the whole thing and make something of your life.
  6. @ScorpiaMoon What does it mean to you? It was you who created the image so find out what she means to you and what blue means to you. I don't believe in objective meanings to visuals like this. But I do believe in our own personal meaning.
  7. @Cody_Atzori I use a meditation bench. I found it helped wonders with my back. Legs are a lot better too. A meditation cushion is also really good if you want to sit crosslegged
  8. @DnoReally I just watched one episode of his and I'm already hooked. Thank you for that!
  9. @Uncover I get ya! I'm struggling with the same problem of forgetting. While my girlfriend tends not to forget anything. Use the calendar on your phone to keep track of the bigger things. I found some remembering techniques quit useful. I see that you are already good at constructing ideas and images, you could use this thing that is holding you back for your advantage. Look up the "mind castle" technique, where you construct a place or use your own home in your mind a place objects in them so you won't forget. For example, you walk through the door and go to the living room. On the table, you imagine a giant chocolate bar and on the sofa is your girlfriend sitting. Have regular check-ins at your mind castle to review everything you should be remembering. Make this a habit and strengthen your mindfulness, this will also help.
  10. Apparently you can eat the skin of a kiwi.
  11. @Natasha it's very nice! Funny thing is that it's kinda fruity. There's some sourness and red fruit tastes in them. I don't know if it is available outside Belgium yet
  12. There is now pink chocolate and it's without colouring (it's called ruby chocolate). It's made from pink cocoa beans. It was launched in 2017. But don't know if it has any health benefits though. https://www.barry-callebaut.com/en/ruby-chocolate-true-gift-nature
  13. @ivankiss Great to hear you're coming back to the Eu. Where are you from? I would love to get my hands on that album. I'm from Belgium, hope I can get it here
  14. @pluto That's just a projection you make. I've been to quite a few of these festivals and there are only occasional fights. For the rest of the time, everyone is super friendly. Everything can expand your consciousness in my opinion! It just depends on your viewpoint. Is does attract more unconscious people than conscious though, which I find sad. But to say that there is no love, acceptance, community and oneness is just not true.
  15. @Aaron p I love hardcore music so I'm quit intrigued about what beauty you found in it through realization?
  16. @fridjonk you shouldn't do the breathing while under the shower. Do it before or you could pass out and hurt yourself!
  17. Do these visuals have some sort of practical benefit in the practise? I have them almost instantly if I widen my visual awareness and focus on one single object or point at the same time.
  18. He's stage white now! Look at his shirt it's a give away
  19. I just finished reading the first two books of jed mckenna and I'm not really sure what to think about it. Its such a big contrast between him and lets say a sadhguru or a mooji or something. His nihilist way just left me a but depressed, which I guess is the point of his books to get you to question everything thats a belief. He just takes a run with the entire spiritual dealings and new age stuff. Now I cant stop thinking about why to do anything, why do yoga, why go after enlightenment or do meditation, because its all shit we do in the dream. It does't mean anything. Did anyone else read his books? Is this enlightenment? What is everything else in the spiritual world then?
  20. @seeking_brilliance I don't think he experienced the wood texture. Just the moving or breathing of the object he was looking at. I experience it as well, don't know what is is or if it means anything though?
  21. @Guru Fat Bastard Yes Jed could all most be ug krishnamurti. They are so similar in how they go about enlightenment. I'm also still trying to figure out what he means with a shuman adulthood? He talks about it a lot in his last book but he doesn't really say what the difference is or how to get there accept from getting really familiar with death. Do you have any idea?
  22. @Guru Fat Bastard That makes sense! For me it was difficult to differentiate between what Jed was saying and other teachers. Jed's way seems so simplistic. On the other hand you've got guru's like Sadhguru and the entire yogic culture. Is everthing the yogis say just another concept or is there more to it? Probably so but Jed seems to dismiss all of it?
  23. @Rebec I found that the books of David Deida cleared up a lot of misunderstanding. He speaks about 3 stages. In the first stage you either identify as male or as female and are very egocentric(what do I want). The caricatures here are the macho jerk and the housewife. In the second stage men find their feminine side and women find their masculine side. This way women become more indepedent and men more dependent. The second stage is more orange/green while the first stage is more blue/orange. I think stage yellow(stage 3) would be a person who sees in him or her both energies and can adjust and switch depending on what the situation demands. This way he or she transcends a rigid indentity. I found this soo liberating. I am a male to the outside, but on the inside I try to let my energies flow as they want (though it's a work in progress ofcourse). It still remains the case that masculine energie is more wanted and so women feel the urge the look and act more strongly and don't show weakness (same as is expected of men ofcourse).
