How can he brainwash you if he keeps his mouth shut?

Great Upload again this week, Leo!

Hi folks, I grew up with my narcissistic mother, which led to enormous emotional and psychological pain over the years. Now, I try to deal with the symptoms of PTSD after the many years of abuse. Has somebody gone through the same thing? How long did it take you to recover? Could you recover at all? I'm a little bit scared that I suffered irreversible brain damage because of the intense traumatic experiences. Appreciate your anwers.

Consider Kriya Yoga, as it will not only calm your mind but also work on your energy. It has been proven as a highly effective means of spiritual growth, so you can try it out if it fits you. -
Hi all, this field of consciousness, spirituality and enlightenment is in my opinion the most sensible way of making sense of reality. Yet, the deeper I go, the more questions seem to arise. In this post I want to brainstorm/share a couple of question that are keeping me busy. Feel free to think about them or respond to them, but please make sure you know what you're talking about (so you don't add to the already big enough confusion!). 1. If the only thing that exists is consciousness and nothing is hidden, where is the memory for our personality/karma? Where are all the subconscious beliefs until you make them conscious? 2. Is it correct to say that the only thing that is keeping us from enlightenment is untrue perception/misidentification? 3. Vedantic philosophy seems to the be most sophisticated and accurate spiritual scripture. Why don't we put more emphasis on that tradition here on this forum? 4. Many enlightened yogis seem to have special powers like the ability to give shaktipat or the abillity to instantly communicate with other yogis through a "yogic net". Many other realized beings, such as many neo-advaitans, Shinzen Young or non-traditional people like Peter Ralston or Eckhart Tolle don't report those abilites. Why is that? 5. Some say to become enlightened, you have to pull off every layer of your personality, like an onion. Some say, you can become enlightened right now, regardless of the personal/emotional baggage you are carrying. Is both correct? 6. What is the number 1 thing to leverage our growth in consciousness? 7. How can you grow your consciousness if everything that exists is only consciousness? 8. Why don't more enlightened beings leave their body (mahasmadhi) like Swami Vivekananda at age 39? 9. Is one's ability to love an accurate indicator of karmic progress? 10. Has somebody here on the forum accessed the astral plane?

@Quanty So you are enlightened? What is the best way to explore consciousness in your opinion? Meditation? Kriya Yoga? Contemplation? Psychedelics? -
@Tistepiste Thanks for your kind words and compassion. I‘ve certainly experienced a great deal of pain in my life, but that’s ok. From the higher perspective it should be like that, I guess. Every bit of suffering is grinding your ego and you are forced to surrender more and more. Which will get you closer to truth ultimately. One big mistake I made was to take enlightenment as a kind of strategy to avoid my inner pain/shadow (spirituality defense mechanism) instead of facing shit directly. I thought this way I could escape myself, which of course doesn’t work. The only way out of the pain is through it. So don‘t do the same mistake if someone has similar issues.

Yes, I am sure he is working something out. Certainly it would lower peoples confusion if he'd mention what he is about to do.

Why haven't you named the 5-Meo-DMT substitute you found? Could help a lot of people, couldn't it? @Leo Gura

@lmfao Thanks for your advice! I've done a lot of therapy work lately and I am starting to feel better now. Healing is definitely possible. Teal Swans videos have helped me a lot, she really knows her shit!

Hm, I have a lot of muscle tension and I think it is because of blocked energy/emotion. After I have an emotional release (p.e. through meditation), I can instantly feel that my muscles relax deeply. And it seems like it works the other way round, too. Like if you relax your body and tense muscles deeply, the blocked emotion will come up and you can feel/work through it. This is the way the bodymind heals itself. Just be present and look inwards, then you will know what to do. -

No seriously, you have to verify it for yourself. Through psychedelics, yoga, contemplation etc. There is no other way. -
Hi guys, a while ago, I heard Leo say in one of his videos something like: "First you have to build the ego up, before you can release it". He was referring to the big picture of personal development (where you build the ego up) and spirituality (where the ego will be dissolved). So I was asking myself what it means to "build up the ego"? Is it mainly pleasing the ego's needs and improving your self-image? And can you dissolve your ego, even if it's a weak ego? Or do you have to develop yourself first? It would be interesting to know if there is a correlation, because it might prevent people from being stuck. Thanks!

Seems like you definitely need some Kriya Yoga... Yes, the technique I'm doing is actually called "Kundalini Kriya Yoga" according to the website of Jan Essmann (http://lovebliss.eu/how-to-meditate.html). Apparently Kundalini Yoga/Kriya Yoga are similar or overlap. Both are meant to invite the Self, which manifests as Shakti, Kundalini, Love, Bliss etc. -

@Recursoinominado I've been practicing Kundalini Kriya Yoga for the past 2 months and I can say it has released a lot of trapped emotions in my body. Sometimes when I'm in deep meditation and completely relaxed, I can feel something build up and it feels a little bit like I need to vomit. Then after I surrender to this urge, the emotion releases, my body relaxes and I shed a tear or two. So yes, I think Kriya Yoga is one of the most effective ways to release trauma. -

How much did you drop? -
A distant friend of our family recently took his life due to years of depression. Apparently, he saw his own suicide as the only possible solution. Hypothesis: Wouldn't it make sense to treat highly suicidal people with 5-Meo-DMT? I mean, if they are so depressed that they are going to take their life anyway, why not try to get them back on track with psychedelics?

I don't think that it really makes a difference. It's said that you should sit in a way, which grounds yourself best. And of course comfort plays a role, so that you can meditate without having to quit because of the pain. When I gathered information about vipassana retreats, they said that if you have trouble sitting crosslegged, you can just meditate on a chair. -

Yeah, it's another example of how sick this society really is. They feed us drugs like antidepressants which only make things worse, and the stuff that would really help is made illegal. Often I just can't believe how hypocritical and deluded people are. -

Yeah, It’s the same in my life. People who haven’t been pushed on this path simply cannot even accept the possibility of something that we talk about here. You have to discover it for yourself, unfortunately. I‘m glad though that we have this forum to connect and discuss.
