Just inductive reasoning based on an understand of genetics and evolution. And all the related statistical evidence. Intelligence metrics, crime statistics, societal wealth, standard of living. Endless metrics to choose from and all them point to the same thing. -

If I'm cherry picking, it's like picking a cherry out of a barrel full. -

True, everyone, including me, acknowledges that. The question is what percentage do we attribute to environmental factors versus innate genetic factors. I say that genetic factors probably play a reasonably significant role. -

Google race and IQ studies. They're somewhat famous, I just assumed everyone who was internet saavy would be aware. In terms of societal success, what do you want me to do? List GDP by country? Or crime statistics in black communities? All of the evidence is out there, obvious and well accepted facts. Although the IQ/race study is disputed quite a bit. I'm not sure you understand the nature of genetics and there role in survival over generations. Kenyans are good at running because it was a trait that was beneficial for the survival of that population. Hence why they're good at it and better than other populations that didn't require as much as that trait. And of course you could have a cordial conversation on the subject. -

People justify some very stupid things with moral relativism due to a foundational ignorance. I think for the sheep, a well thought out dogma works well. Just don't dress it up in fairy tales and tell everyone the earth is 6000 years old. -
Finances are a bitch aren't they? Maybe stop jerking off and wasting your time and work on developing a life sustaining career? That, or be ok living off of poverty wages and the welfare of others. Life is not about immediately and always doing what you're passionate about. Be smart, do something practical that your parents would approve of like perhaps become a CPA? Because to me it just looks like you just want to perpetually play with your crystals, and do yoga and never actually take responsibility.

Want to date? I think we would be a good match. I'm told I'm very handsome, good in bed, have a great career.

You're ok. I can tell you're a good guy. Don't worry about it. I'm used that kind energy, doesn't bother me one bit and I don't judge you for it. -

You're reacting too strong to words on your screen. -

The cup being solid is like a visual story or narrative. The solidness of the cup is a verbal description of the nature of that object in 3D space. As in my hand won't phase through it and it won't fall through the floor. It's a description of the supposed physical laws which govern the dream world which seems to follow some universal laws of physics. -

Right now I have a calm and soft smile on my face as I read your post. I'm a little over worked though if I could indulge complaining about my life. I'm not triggered. That's the honest truth. -

Could you expound on your experiences? I'd love to hear more. ? -

My weiner is most likely much larger than yours in this life. It's pretty big. Sometimes I buckle from the shear weight of it. -

My man, you are completely misinterpreting my response to @Eph75. It was a genuine response from a good place. The guy is well spoken, honest, and clearly means well. I was simply prodding him to share more about how exactly he was perceiving this topic and I was pleased with his responses, even though I feel a cordial sense of disagreement with his perspective. @thepixelmonk Honestly, you react too strongly in opposition to me sometimes on this forum. I wish I could find you in person so I could embarrass you with physical affection. Like hug you sensually and tell you how beautiful you are. -

No one is asking you for spiritual guidance in this thread, Moojiji. It's a dumb comment because you presume everyone on the thread doesn't understand the idea of reacting to yourself. It's just a holier than thou statement. You're in the wrong forum section for what you're talking about. Not only that you project and make your own assumptions regarding the state of others consciousness when posting. -

@Eph75 And here's the skeptic. Your perspective is welcome and desired. The post you wrote is quite good actually and speaks very well to the common phenomenon of intuition. That is not what is being described in the original post. He is describing the very real phenomenon of telepathy of which your post doesn't address. You're basically dismissing him as being deluded and not describing his experiences correctly. You're being close minded. To post what you did you had to make up some assumptions of delusion on the part of the OP. What say you to this accusation, good fellow? -

I think the handkerchief over the ding dong was cowardly to be honest. -

You're not very intelligent. Both your posts are simply clever and wordy ways of saying 'you're dumb, and I'm more self-aware than you are.' A blatant display of spiritual and intellectual narcissism. -

To understand the topic of this thread, that seems to certainly be the case. -

My initial response was well intentioned. Your interpretation of bad faith is a pure construction of your imagination. -
Heart of Space replied to Scholar's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
Except you were the one who disregarded my opinion on the basis that it was bad faith. That's where the conversation stopped and derailed. You never addressed my initial points. And then you just continued to whine, which what this post is. You just turned into a petulant child. You're probably still a bit young and immature. I would just implore you to have an open mind in the future on this subject. -

You know man, I may or may not have what's called 'first hand experience' with said gay, gender-identity, or trans feelings? I've probably interacted with more gay people, seen more gay content than you have? Your personal judgement based on what a gay person youtube has said, doesn't really mean anything. And yes, your characterization of that experience has a lot of falsehood in it. And you fail to see the prejudicial nature of what you're saying because you simply lack the consciousness, intelligence, experience, and wisdom to see the subject clearly. Maybe move on to critiquing other minorities on their supposed psycho-social issues? Your opinion will probably be just as bumbling and undesired there as well. But please, carry on. -
Heart of Space replied to Scholar's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
Yea, that's literally what I was addressing. Your imagination ran wild without having any real connection to the experience of the reality of a young person who is having gender identity issues. Yet you went on and on trying to understand and explain the experience. -
Heart of Space replied to Scholar's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
You literally discussed yourself as trying to understand the the experience of a young presumably lgbt person's experience and then proceeded to explain the social psychological experience of a lgbt person. There was no bad faith what so ever. I just was pointing out a fundamental flaw in your understanding. -
Heart of Space replied to Scholar's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
This is exactly your problem. You completely misunderstand the problem on a fundamental level. There is an experience of having masculine feelings or feminine feelings while being of either 'XX' or 'XY' chromosomes. Sometimes you have a penis, but feel female and this is not a matter of self-hatred. I'm reading your post and I don't think you are fully comprehending the nature of human biology and how gender expression is absolutely an innate part of your functioning sexuality. Obviously feelings of self-hatred are societal as are the modern medical solutions of surgery and hormones, but the feelings of being 'girl-like' in a male body or 'boy-like' in a female body are innate and not a result of self-hatred. There are deeply spiritual people with biologically male bodies who are very feminine and essentially the essence of what in means to be female. Your position is basically a mild evolution of the whole 'being gay is a choice' meme. Which stems from ideology that desires to justify prejudice towards gay people. This topic seems to be a little outside of your scope of understanding. Reading your description of the trans experience in society like watching a clumsy elephant do ballet. In your posts you occasionally say something correct, but your viewpoint is very messy, bumbling, and doesn't quite have the whole picture.
