Sos for late replies @Prabhaker uno what i mean @Power I'll have a look @Blissout good idea , you mean like mindfulness? @SaltyMeatballs would like to go on a retreat but im still in highschool lmao @cirkussmile thanks @Girzo I do it in the morning for 20 minutes , i sit down on my carpet and set a timer - usually i take a few deep breaths and get into the present moment to start with and then i go onto the actual technique . What results will even show up? also do you think its okay to split the 20 minutes up like 10 minutes in the morning and 10 in the evening? @Rilles thanks !

@Akim just be present , observe your mind

@Girzo I've considered Leo's LP course but it is a bit pricey, cant do retreats since I'm still in high school, but thanks for the suggestions @Dinesh Karki thanks , I'll have a look , i've heard leo mention him a lot @Everyday will have a look

@PhilGR I'm also in high school and I've also been on the self-actualization journey for a bit. limit all the useless activities such as tv and video-games. I would also start getting into good eating habits now, since you're a teenager like me and cut out all the junk food if swimming is your life purpose, carry on pursuing it, but if not you might want to limit your swimming practice so you can focus on your life purpose , just my opinion btw.

Since Leo releases a lot of very deep and profound topics, learning them all may be a bit of a struggle. Life is too short to learn things ineffectively, What are your recommendations on learning techniques? both for theory and practical things also how long do you think I should spend studying, I've heard of the mastery rule (10000 hours) which is 3 hours a day, but I want to hear your views on this.

@cirkussmile true true, I have many passions, but there are more effective ways of learning like recalling instead of rereading. You're right though we do have all the time in the world to learn

Firstly, does it matter what time you get up, is there any advantage in getting up earlier, i know the self-help industry is all about waking up extremely early but does it really benefit you? secondly, How much sleep should I get (bearing in mind that I'm still in high school) , I've heard 9 hours is optimal but would sacrificing an hour to do more studying/learning be a better decision?

educational podcasts are good , or audiobooks - you can do other activities whilst listening. going for a walk learning a new language or instrument sports hope this helps
