I would have continued seeing escorts but the biggest letdown for me was the lack of connection that I was seeking. The interactions were mostly awkward, robotic and fake. Some advertised themselves as providing a "girlfriend experience" but this was far from being the case. Having said that, I do not dismiss the value that escorts provide. There were some moments that were fun and enjoyable. They fulfilled my sexual needs, at least temporarily. If you don't want a girlfriend then seeing escorts is not such a bad thing as some people portray it to be IMO. Do what you feel is best for you at a given moment while also considering the potential risks.

I was a tourist in Ukraine and I noticed a group of 5 men with monkeys. I smiled, thinking to myself how cute... After making eye contact, these men got in my way and put 3-4 monkeys on me. They told me to give them my phone so they could take a picture. Me being stupid, I played along with it. After the picture was taken they wanted $60 from me. It seemed rather pricey so I resisted and offered to pay less. They got extremely angry and even started to threaten me. At that point I thought they were gonna rob me. Luckily, I managed to pay in the end without anyone getting hurt. At least the picture wasn't so bad lool. Edit: The lesson here is to simply say NO! Be aware of anyone trying to touch or approach you. Always assume that these people want nothing more but to exploit you.

Thanks bro!

@Gesundheit2 The best portfolio will be created by your creativity and passion. Try to think of something that you actually want to create. For me it was building a productivity app. For you it could be a blog or simple game. Doesn't matter what it is, as long as it EXCITES YOU! Don't build something that you don't want. It will be trashy. Once you have a juicy project idea begin to execute on it daily. I recommend that you learn and use modern tech stacks. One such example is MEAN (MongoDB, Express, Angular and Node). A good way to find out what skills are in demand is to look at the job listing. What required skills have been listed for that position? If you are really struggling, you can always hire a tutor. They are not too expensive, I used a platform called preply.com where i was paying $10 an hour. If your going to buy a course on programming, do it with the intention of learning the skills and applying them to YOUR PROJECT. Simply watching somebody else code and following them along is really ineffective in my experience.

A degree is definitely useful but its not required. Just like Leo said, you need a solid portfolio. I got my first Job because I released a high quality app on the Google play store which proved that I had solid Java / Kotlin experience. Also, I did a bunch of networking and met a girl who needed an MVP for her business. I created an app for her, free of charge (it took me about two weeks) and on my resume I added "Lead developer" for that startup. Just those two things alone made me stand out much more than some graduate who did computer science degree.

@sda Or why not do both. Are you saying the seeking spirituality and basic needs at the same time is not feasible?

These workers are paid minium wage because they don't possess any good skills. They will soon be replaced with AI and mostly everything will be automated.

My dog is only agressive towards people that are scared of dogs. He can sense it easily. I think a good solution for you would be to expose yourself to more dogs. Fall in love with them. Maybe you know someone who has a dog, hang out with them or baby sit them every now and then. You dont need to invest into getting a dog yourself. Once you get more comfortable take it a step further... Have some dog treats ready in your pocket, ask the owner if you could give them some. I dont think you can avoid dogs, they are everywhere. Learn to love them. They are adorable little creatures.

I am also planning on doing this soon. My intention will be to talk to as many people as I can, make friends, and learn about the culture. Which countries are you thinking of traveling to first? -
Nope.

Do the Wim Hof method / holotropic breathing when you go to bed tonight. Put more emphasis on the out breath, not the in breath. It doesn't have to be long, 5-10 min should do it. This technique has helped me tremendously to improve sleep latency. I discovered this by accident after having alot of trouble with sleep this year. Just happy to share this because I think it might help someone out there.

I think you will resonate with this book: The surrender Experiment

Wow. First I saw her spinning to the left, voted left. Then she started spinning to the right. What a mind fuck lol.
-
I do it all the time. No shame in that ? @Eternal Unity That is a great idea!! Never thought of that before.
-
@TheSomeBody What is the technique?
-
@flowboy Your friend was right about the shamanic breathing. I did it recently and I immediately knew what I needed to do. However, knowing what is needed to be done isn't the same as actually doing it. Taking action is now key for me.

Nice one!! I would advise that you actually reach out to some healers and interview them.

Thanks mate. Where did you obtain this list? I couldn't find it on the website. My shadow is the Scientist.
