  1. @VincentArogya very nice teaching! profound words thanks for sharing
  2. I would be really interested in what Leo thinks about this topic and about your post @Leo Gura
  3. @peanutspathtotruth thank you
  4. @Leo Gura of course I want to. But Im tired of all the theory and mental masturbation. I want to actually experience it. The faster the better. Havent tried psychedelics yet,but will try them for sure.
  5. @Leo Gura I would say that there are many enlightened beings who awoke because they wanted peace, bliss or heaven. I think its a question of what you want to achieve with this work. Do you want to escape suffering and experience heaven? then there are good ways to do that. Or do you want to fully understand? then there are other ways to achieve that.
  6. @Leo Gura Can you awaken without a desire to understand?
  7. @Abhishaik I dont know this either, maybe Leo can answer this question @Leo Gura
  8. @Chris365 I dont think that Buddhas motivation for awakening was to escape suffering. Leo always says that a desire for truth is fundamental for awakening.
  9. @Chris365 Is it possible to awaken, if your main desire for awakening is ending suffering?
  10. So is the "state"(dont have a better word for it) after someone shoots himself in the head and dies the same as right after an awakening experience? In both cases the ego dies and merges into infinite consciousness and one becomes God. So it would be logical to assume that after both events you will have the same consequence. So awakening is literally the same thing as death/suicide.
  11. @Leo Gura but in the end you will get the same consequences, or am I wrong? different ways, same destination.
  12. @Leo Gura @Leo Gura Wheres the difference then?
  13. @Nak Khid no, im perfectly fine, im just curious.
  14. @Leo Gura you mean the theoretical foundation?
  15. @Leo Gura Whats important then besides psychedelics?
  16. So basically everything, life purpose, all your dreams, all hopes, all your aspirations, all your goals, all your different passions etc. should all be dropped when you want to become awakened? Because when you reach nonduality/infinity every duality will collapse eventually and you are giving up yourself, everything of yourself. So is life purpose then for example not just a big distraction that keeps you in the dream? Or all your passions. These things are just moving you farther and farther away from awakening because they are all coming from ego in the end, which you have to give up. I mean I try my best to give them up, but sometimes its really hard. Then why is Leo encouraging us to find our life purpose if its just a distraction?
  17. Hey guys, check this video out. This guy has an amazing experience on 5Meo. Hes realizing his true nature as God.
  18. @YaNanNallari Yeah, you feel more of that aliveness and magic that you experienced when you were a child.
  19. Sometimes this feeling of freedom and liberation runs through me. When I watch a beautiful panorama, a beautiful landscape or in general experience a very amazing view from a far distance, there are moments, when I feel this blissful feeling of freedom. There are many things in my life, which brings it up. For example as I mentioned a beautiful scenery can trigger it. There is a place near my home, from which you have a view over the whole city, where I live. And whenever Im watching the wholy city from that far distance Im experiencing a very beautiful and liberating feeling of freedom. I feel connected somehow. When Im at that place Im just standing there and watching how the city is alive. The trains, which are driving into the city and again out of it. All the cars, which are driving, the tractors, the factories, which are emitting all this smoke, all the people, who are in the city and all the people who are in their houses. All of this is sometimes so beautiful that im just standing there and watching how the city is alive. Sometimes Im standing there for 30 mins (what the other people might think seeing a dude watching this scenery for so long, probably think Im crazy:)). Im just standing there and sometimes even have to cry because of the beauty of it. This feeling of freedom I also experience when I see airplanes because they are free up in the sky, without boundries and limits. Because of that I really love airports. I feel very attracted to them because they are a symbol of freedom for me. Also when I listen to a beautiful piece of music, I feel free, Sometimes Im really crying like a baby because of how beautiful this piece of music is. There are many more things in my life, which can trigger this feeling, this sense of freedom, beauty and connection. But I dont want to list them all here, would be too long. Really, its more than just a feeling, Its very hard to explain. But words like beautiful and liberating can describe this experience well. Do you guys think that these experiences are just glimpses of absolute total freedom? Maybe im just connected to the beauty of reality in these moments. These experiences are one of the reasons Im pursuing awakening because I think deep down Im yearning for that limitless, absolute and infinite freedom. thanks for reading and commenting
  20. Im just curious, if one can reach full permanent awakening with the the motivation to escape suffering?
  21. @Leo Gura But can you really go far in this work with this type of motivation?
  22. @LfcCharlie4 wise words, bro. Seeking happiness is the basis for being a human being.
  23. @Guru Fat Bastard I was asking because I thought that desire for truth should be your only motivation.
  24. Did Martin Ball have any other spiritual practice or did he reach enlightenment only through 5meo?
