@Carl-Richard But isn't he right when hes saying that you can't awaken when you want to escape suffering that you can only get enlightened when you want the Truth for Truths sake? -

I have read your post. Very inspiring. Thanks for sharing. So escaping suffering was your main motivation to pursue enlightenment? -
Leo said it is possible to reach permanent enlightenment through the use of psychedelics, well how do you do it? Because there are a few people here on this forum who are permanent ly awake and they did it mainly through psychedelics, so its obviously possible.

@The0Self @The0Self Thank you so much for your advice. Really appreciate it.
-
@The0Self What practices do you recommend? Psychedelics?
-
@The0Self ok thanks for your answers. So if you want to escape suffering and experience deep peace and happiness, you dont recommend the path of enlightenment? which path do you recommend then?thanks
-
@The0Self Doesnt these states of bliss and ecstasy come from enlightened states?
-
@electroBeam You can chase enlightenment for whatever reason. The destination is the same regardless of your motivation. You can chase it to escape suffering or you can chase it to know the truth. Two different paths which will eventually lead you the same place.
-
@The0Self They are there, but not identified with what is there.
-
@electroBeam To want to feel happy, or at peace comes from ego. To know the truth comes from ego. Everyone is doing something because he is thinking that this thing will make him happy, be it knowing the truth or somethingelse. Like Rupert says, enlightenment is the most direct way to happiness.
-
@The0Self All the spiritual gurus and religious leaders like Jesus, Buddha, Mohammed or Spira, Tolle, Mooji etc. all reached enlightenment and describe it as joy, peace and happiness. They are no longer seeker.
-
@The0Self Then why is enlightenment always (even in all religious traditions) portrayed as things like heaven, joy, happiness, peace etc.? All the religions are based on a big lie you say? All the mystical spiritual and religious traditions are lying? cmon man.
-
@Moksha So you just wait until the suffering is so much that you eventually awaken? like Eckart Tolle? There is no "being ready" when it comes to awakening. You have to force it if you want to awaken. Thats basically all spiritual practices in a nutshell. People dont meditate in a cave for monthes without any reason. They do it because they want to awaken. If you do nothing, you wont awaken.
-
@The0Self So psychedelics cant give you glimpses of enlightenment?
-
@The0Self But enlightenment is also a state of consciousness. And with psychedelics you can access different states of consciousness, one of it would be the state of enlightenment.
-
@Moksha okay, then, when is someone ready for awakening?
-
@Moksha Many people are suffering. Most of them dont wake up. Some even kill themselves.
-
@Moksha So suffering is your main motivation to get enlightened?
-
Religious and spiritual tradtions try to show us that the experience of god or truth is like experiencing heaven. Is that true? Does it "feel" like heaven? Is it an accurate metaphor? (for all the people here who experienced god) thanks:)

@The0Self Ok thanks for your answer, but why is it called heaven? Does it "feel" like paradise? -
Im trying to show you guys the big picture of the two paths that people on this forum and in spirituality in general are pursuing. I know that it is a black and white kind of thinking, but nevertheless I try to illustrate what is going on. So as you guys know Leo is not only about the classic enlightenment pursuit. Maybe he was in the beginning of his spiritual journey, but it is pretty obvious now that he is not your classic spiritual guru type of guy. Leos path is quite differnet. The path of enlightenment is the path, which is mainly presented by the gurus you see in the media like Rupert Spira or Eckart Tolle. This path is about the realization of your true self/higher self, about liberation, about happiness, peace, killing the ego, coming home, escaping suffering etc. Of course there is understanding here, but this understanding isnt the end and can be a lot deeper. The techniques on this path are mainly meditation, self-inquiry and Yoga. These are the things, which the gurus are presenting for the main purpose of enlightenment. Then there ist he path of understanding. This path is much more about the existential questions and less about liberation, peace, happiness. Its about satisfying the thirst for understanding or knowing. Deep questions about reality, love, god and their answers are the main motivation on this path. The person on this path is seeking understanding just for the sake of understanding and not for any ego-benefits like peace or happiness: His Her/understanding and knowing should be as deep as possible, only then he/she will be satisfied. The spiritual techniques are mainly contemplation and psychedelics. I have noticed that most people on this forum and on the spiritual path in general are pursuing the enlightenment path. I think that there are far less people out there, who are pursuing understanding just fort he sake of understanding. I just wanted to show a big picture and wanted to show that Leos channel is for people who are seeking understanding. If you only want to pusure enlightenment then you should follow other gurus like Rupert Spira or Eckart Tolle. Thanks for reading.

@Leo Gura What works in the US will work in Germany aswell. Why shouldn't that be the case?

@Moksha There are people out there like Leo for example who pursue understanding for its own sake. I think its just a different path but not a distraction. -
@Leo Gura Unfortunately Im from Germany, so I cant buy this kit. Are these amazon test kits legit? or other test kits you can buy online?
-
@Leo Gura Can you tell us, what the best method is to test how much heavy metals someone has in their body? Can I buy a basic urine test on amazon or should I test that with a doctor? thanks Leo:)
