  1. @Leo Gura So, you are saying that it is possible for mentally ill people to heal themselves using psychedelics? I think it would be a better way than taking medications.
  2. @Bazooka Jesus how old were you when you had your first psychedelic experience?
  3. @Javfly33 so you mean, you have to be very openminded?
  4. Hi guys, so basically Im searching for some advice on this forum, especially I want to know what Leo thinks should be the best way for me. So heres my situation: Im currently 23 years old, and Im really realizing that nothing in this material world makes me really happy nor will it ever in the future. Things like food, sex, relationships, money, success, socializing, working a job etc. nothing of this gives me happiness( a few years ago I thought they would, but I grew and developed myself and realized that I really dont need them for my happiness). Of course having some good friends or eating some good food can be a enjoyable, but it doesnt really make me happy. I really could live without all of these things. So I really got interested in finding a way out of all of this and I stumbled upon spirituality, awakening etc. and got interested in pursuing it (havent done any spiritual practice so far). On the other hand to be honest, I really dont care that much about questioning reality and contemplating things like reality, time, reason, consciousness, god, truth etc. I am not that much intereseted in metaphysical questions, so contemplation as a spiritual practice would not work for me. I really just want to find a way out of this "rat race" and want to experience bliss, joy etc. Its not that Im totally not interested in metaphysical questions, I am to some degree, but it is really not that much, that I could sit down and contemplate the nature of reality for the next hour. Maybe if I start the pursuit of awakening, the curiousity and desire for these questions will come? I dont know. So is it possible to get awakened if you are not interested in these questions, but just want to find a antoher a way out? Thanks guys, appreciate all of your answers.
  5. @Bazooka Jesus You just took some magic mushrooms? Do you do any other spiritual practice?
  6. @Bazooka Jesus There wasn't any resistance or fear? You just let go?
  7. What exactly have you experienced? Did you take a psychedelic?
  8. @Leo Gura Thank you for your answers Leo, you are the best. I want to add something to my post. Its not that Im not intersseted in reality, of course I am. I am curious about God, I want to explore reality and see if theres is more than just this current state of reality I am in right now. I intuitively know that theres is much more than the reality Im livin in. Im also curious about Love and other topics you are talking about in your videos. Its just that I dont have this deep passion like you have, this deep love for reality, metaphysics and so on. And I really want to walk the path towards awakeking, raising my consciousness to infinity. I hope that Yoga, Meditation and Psychedelics can help me with that. My last question for you would be: Do you think that this deep love/passion for reality /truth can manifest itself in the future, as Im doing the mentioned spiritual practices? Thanks a lot for your time and effort to ansnwer my questions. Peace
  9. @Leo Gura thanks for your answer, Leo, really appreciate it. But how can I develop a much deeper passion and curiosity for reality? Do I need a mystical experience first (through psychedelics for example) in order to enjoy Being more? Should I try to force myself to love Being and reality more? Can I do Yoga and Meditation to develop this curiosity/passion for reality and metaphysical questions in general? What are some real practical tipps?
  10. @Serotoninluv Thanks for your long answer:) very kind and helpful words, I try to figure out now, what will be next for me. I hope that I can develop a desire to experience Truth for Truths sake.
  11. @lain I havent found my Life Purpose. I tried to find it the last 5-6 years, but really havent found it yet. Im really struggling to find passions which you can build a career out of. What do you mean with "missassumption about reality"?
  12. Hi guys, can you get enlightened/awakened, if you pursue it as a way out. You pursue it because you want to end your suffering and your struggles you have in this limited kind of life. So is it possible to reach full enlightenment even when you are not interested in truth, but rather want to live unconditionally happy and you have enough of this material life and because of that you pursue it? So its a more egoic and shallow kind of approach towards the ultimate goal of liberation/awakening. thanks guys I hope Leo will give me an answer aswell
  13. But the Islamic path could also be a mystcial path, like Sufism for example.@Radical
  14. @Jkhv1 are you sure the motivation will change or are you just speaking from your own experience?
  15. Leo is always saying that he loves Truth and that you need to have a "love/passion for truth" to be successful in this spiritual journey and that it is the foundation of all the spiritual work. But what exactly does it mean to love Truth? Does it mean to love the concept, the idea of Truth? Or do I have to experience it first in order to love it? I mean, how can I love something, if I actually dont know what it is? For example, how can I love sex, if I have never experienced it in my life? It's hard to just love the idea or the concept of sex, if I practically dont know what it is. So do I have to experience Truth or God first in order to develop a love/passion for it and then start my spiritual journey afterwards? Thanks guys(Im sure Leo will answer this aswell :))
  16. Hi guys, I wanted to ask, whether it is possible to achieve full enlightement just with the practice of Yoga(Kriya, Kundalini). So without any contemplation, meditation, self-inquiry etc. whatsoever. thanks guys I hope I will get an answer from Leo
  17. @Leo Gura I know that there isnt any guarantee to get enlightened, but I just wanted to know if I could use just Yoga to experience mystical states and try to work my way up to awakening . Thank you for your answers Leo .@Leo Gura
  18. @Leo Gura So would it be "sufficient" if I put my entire focus on Yoga to achieve enlightenment? Because out of all the practices I resonate the best with Yoga. Mainly Kriya and Kundalini
  19. @Esoteric So if I just do the practices, it will bring me nowhere? But isn't it the purpose of Yoga or meditation to actually do the spirtual practices so that if you do them long enough, it will bring you some results.
  20. @Highest But different things work for different people. And isn't the purpose of Yoga to achieve enlightenment and union with god? So these practices have to be made in a way that if you do them long enough and consistent enough that one day you can actually experience union and enlightenment.
  21. Hey guys, I'm 23 years old and I'm watching Leos stuff for a long time now. I have just watched his stuff and never took the practices seriously, just meditated a few times, but it was really nothing. The last couple of monthes I became really interested in doing some practices(really want to start with Yoga, Kryia and Kundalini). I have decided that I want to take the spiritual path and I really want to experience god. I want to see if theres more then just the reality given to us in which we are existing. I want to experiment with psychedelics aswell, but I think 23 is still too young, maybe when Im in my late 20s. Now I have read many horrific stories here in the forum. People are experiencing the worst nightmares possible after their mystcial experiences. People are experiencing traumas, suicidal thoughts and there people who tried to kill themselves because they lost their mind etc. just real nightmare stories, it is really scary to read their stories. Is this really the price I have to pay when I take the spiritual path. Shall I really take the risk to experience these terrible states when I want to reach enlightenment? Is this a part of the journay or did these people just did somehting wrong? After reading these stories I really dont know if I should go this road or just live a normal mundane material life. Im too scared to start a Yoga-practice, although I really I want to. What should I do guys? thanks
  22. Hi guys, I was just wondering, whether it is possible to get insights into facets of awakening like for example infinite love without any contemplation work, so just with meditation and yoga for example. Or is contemplation work necessary here? I can't imagine getting insights by just practicing meditation or yoga. thanks guys
  23. @Inliytened1 But how can I get an insight specificially into infinite love through meditation?
