Make a deep understanding of whats hes going through and make him feel understood worst thing about mental health problems when people dont understand and dont want to(people with such problems) so they feel alone and want a way out..

First year of daily self inquiry i didnt know where to look even...i always had enlightement experiences on the end of the day while inquiring for 7 8 hours ?? fetus position with suicidal thoughts ? nothing new cuz its just higher anxiety that was normal daily occurence...you are here alone and has to push through i have no advice

Mybe because you were hesitant to ask her out right away was there a mixed signals? Is she like that with everyone? You are feeling stupid cuz you thought it was something there but it wasnt...why would you want someone that doesnt want you back?

And it feels very lovely to live like a slave from others opinions?

@Joseph Maynor No its a recognition that you see yourself and recognize that you are that and got hypnotized believing that you are something else by your mind (thats what direct experience is in a nutshell)

@Joseph Maynor there is no meaning we make meanings like everything else its all made up and it becomes real if we believe in it and jas many others that believe in it...you can just be and create meaning at the same time there is no conflict i can make meaning and find evidence about it make other believes it and it will become true thats why religion works for some for some not

Everything is meaningless is true but not from perspective of ego mind...ego can make all sorts of meanings but they will never be 100% because its not real its changable you can adjust meanings you can do anything and your mind made another thing that it has to be 100% to make it not concrete because thats what mind does its never 100% anything... one day its like this another its like that...one minute i want this another i dont...

Regarding your title thats not life thats projection of your mind giving meaning to the circumstances...what do you mean let down by every partner?
