@Leo Gura Indeed. Thanks again.

@Leo Gura Thanks for chiming in. My question to Rupert was to ensure that my desire, which I feel strongly and is what naturally comes from within, wasn't ego. And that's the thing Leo, my so-called desire does not steam from an idea, philosophy or religion, but from within myself as if I am the embodiment of justice or something. Sounds corny, but it is almost as if my soul IS justice; that I seek to balance things, whether it is correcting someone making a spelling mistake or trying to debunk a fake narrative, stopping two drunk people from fighting, or protesting against wars. Me feelings toward war are not reactionary; when I was 18 at first was all for that Rambo life. But when you see people blow up; along with the unjust death and destruction of innocents on a massive scale, the fantasies end. Ever since I got out of the service I would tell everyone who asked me if they should join the military not to. I would not wish anything like what I saw on any people. But I know that this is part of reality; its not like war is new. Allan Watts also made a point about this in one of his speeches where he uses the analogy of the cells fighting in our body; that if we were to observe this phenomenon and see it as one side killing the other in some war, we may get too sucked in and start rooting for one side; when it is necessary for both sides to fight in perpetuity for us to even exist as an organism. (again paraphrasing) So yes we can zoom out of the world and see these wars similar to cell wars, I have come to peace with that. We can even argue that war is an evolutionary process that breed stronger humans or something, but that doesn't mean that my nature is to not be the cells that fight the other cells. And I wanted to make sure that it wasn't my ego. I had a feeling it wasn't, and most of the questions I asked above I already knew the answer to (as I alluded in them) and wanted to see his take since not all teachers teach the same way. But the reason I asked was because if we are all one, then who the hell can have the desire to make change? His response is clear: The light is just and so it is my nature. Even the terrorist is just, in his way as your comment implies. BTW Leo, your videos had much influence on my acceptance with things which brought me great peace that I have not felt, probably ever in my life. The things that I used to punch holes in walls for don't bother me. anymore. The addictions and vices I had, no longer exist. My PTSD has reduced mostly to physical things rather than emotional. I have become more stoic and content. I have learned to control my anger, which was a huge problem in my life. I have transformed so much since I found Actualized and the rest of the teachers of nonduality. So thank you for your work. And that is why I wanted to make sure that this desire was not something that needs to be changed.

@ivory yes indeed he is... one person actually asked him if it was hard interacting with the world, and he said "no this is my world" pointing at the crowd. So this indicates that he is not interested in the bigger world of fame and all that materalistic crap. I had mentioned to him that this was my first seminar and I learned of him through Leo and actualized. He just smiled. @Serotoninluv You're welcome.

Roll call to confirm...who's coming? lol

My friend and I both got tickets to this meet-up. This will be my first time ever attending this kind of event. Is anyone else here going?

@Jed Vassallo yep... I had a hard time watching at first but I plowed through the entire series a learned a few new things.

This guy "morgue" is a very eccentric person who has a similar message but explains things with what he calls ontological mathematics. He discusses whatreality actual is, in a nondualistic sense, debunks scientism, and other things like leo has taught. He's pushing a movement of hyperianism to change the world which I find somewhat cultish, he is also one of those pain preformers that suspend themselves on hooks and all that so one may Judge without listening but he is speaking truth. Hes a video series which puts it all together. In it theres many visuals to help illustrate what he's saying.

Just short video summarizing to the normies on my Twitter what nondualism is. I also discuss the people who influenced me the most, one of which was no other than @Leo Gura . I also guided my audience to visit actualized.org, the youtube, and forum. I have about 28K followers on twitter so that should help drive some visitors here and hopefully evolve them from their current paradigm. I think I did pretty well getting to the basics. Let me know what you guys think. -

@Serotoninluv I very much appreciate your kind feedback and advice. I will say, it took a lot of ego-backlash and suffering throughout the years to be able to deliver a message like this to people. I also got mixed up in very bad crowds, bad friends, and even bad politics. All of the teachings here by Leo and the people I mentioned, have all influenced me and helped me become better at this. But yes, in regards to different crowds, this would suit more 'normies' like I said. I don't say that in a arrogant way, but most people here the tristate area of NJ/NY are very unhappy, materialistic, alcoholics and drug addicts. My experience WITH those vices and all the other things I've endured; including the war in Iraq, has built me up to give off this vibe you see which is from genuine expression. But this wasn't always the case, when my ego ran the show, it was insecurity, validation, etc that drove me...but that is all gone now. Now my ego "suffers" because it wants to do good in the world, stop the wars, expose the liars...all desires which I know that I could never fully accomplish nor do alone. I would love nothing more than to find a way to help people like Leo has done or many other of these folks. I do love to talk and have these conservations, but i'm can also become very lazy (unless its the gym lol); my PTSD keeps my mind going 1000 miles an hour so I lose focus...not to mention the bipolar and depression aspects of it. My motivation to do things MUST be in the moment. Notice how this video I just decided to do outside, not editing, no notes, no script. That's how I work. Sadly, this kind of energy only comes once in a while. It's not consistent enough, perhaps because I don't think I could achieve the heights I wish due to my issues? But I will continue to do what I can and see what happens. Again, thank you for your feedback friend. -

@Paul92 But you are not really thinking to look around if you are just absorbing the experience and just looking around. But I get your point. -

@Highest Right. Our will in finite, limited to what I mentioned above, as a limited mini-god -

@Paul92 Part of me is starting to feel that we have only the ability to interpret something with our 'directing mind' as Marcus would say, but we have no control of our bodies really. We also ALWAYS make the 'right' choices with the information we have at the time; no one purposely makes a 'mistake'..our 'right choice only seems bad when the opposite effect happens. An analogy to this concept would be this: imagine being strapped in a roller coaster. You have the 'freedom' to look around and see the park as you ascend. But you have no control of the feelings which occur soon after the drop begins; nor do you have any control of the ride itself. I still tend to be a compatibilist, but understanding nondualism, there is no separated "will", that everything is "gods will" per se, which we have agency over as mini gods, but it limted to, our human form, our bodies instincts, and environment. -
the ONLY thing that leads to fat gain is eating more calories than your body uses. you can lose weight eating junk food if you wanted, so long as the calories were lower than your maintenance level. https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/207071.php

What else are you supposed to do with your time other than use it how you want? There are many times I feel that what I doing which is not my "work" doing political anti-war activism, is a waste of time. But then, what is the point of fighting against corruption and trying to stop war? What would we do if we had all day to ourselves in peace? We would play! Either way, time is going to fly by.
