@Shiva Regardless of where these thoughts come from, or whether they are of our own creation or suggestions from our brains inputs, memories, etc; we can choose to focus on, ignore, act or not act upon these thoughts...even if they aren't 'ours' because when we realize they aren't 'ours' the perceiver realizing it "decides" ... A thought cannot observe itself; therefore, we cannot be thoughts. If we go with the argument that we are God split in infinite ways; then you are saying God has no free will either, as we are God.

@Cepzeu @Faceless The observer of the thoughts can choose to act or not act upon them...If that observer is "God", then does God have no free will?

Merry Christmas everyone (for those who follow this traditions or whatever) I realized something before while I was on the toilet this morning after thinking about @Leo Gura video where he tripped and become Absolute Infinity. The power of NOTHING! Nothing cannot be destroyed; nothing is timeless; nothing is what allows ANY-THING to happen. If you think of a blank paper, lines and shapes can be drawn on it; endless POSSIBILITIES because there is NO-THING on it. So when Leo says everything is NO-THING; I would say, NO-THING allows EVERY-THING to exist. My definition of God is this: The Ultimate Facilitator of ALL EXISTENCE. What he/she/it is this or that, is irrelevant; what my definition says is that God is what allows all possibilities to happen. GOD = ALL POSSIBILITIES. Thus god must be NOTHING or NO-THING... If he was SOME-THING, he would be limited. We are some-things. ALL-things have limits, No-things do not; they have no form, not existence, no boundaries, no-anything. So the TRUE power lies in the POSSIBLE, which is "NOTHING" as it has not manifested: potentiality. ALL things that have manifested are limited; as they have assumed form, boundary, etc. Now of course these are illusions, and we are all NO-THING part of God, but if we identify with ANY-THING, we become limited. This is why I have had this feeling of relief lately; embracing the power of NO-THING. ANYTHING that exists now is energy/power concentrated and limited, but if you embrace NOTHINGNESS, you have unlimited power. If you let go of EVERY-THING, you are left with NO-THING. So of course this is a mind-set and we cannot literally let go of our bodies and float around, but having this mentality I find very relieving. And notice how people are obsessed with THINGS, or wanting to know EVERY-THING, which causes suffering... Imagine if they didn't care about ANY-THING and embraced that NO-THING matters; as Jim Carey recently stated. But to embrace ONLY this side of the "force" if you will, you still become unbalanced. Therefore, you can still embrace this mentality letting go of EVERY-THING while still existing in this limited form or illusion. In other words, once you realize this, you can change this life into whatever you wish, like God would, you can shape your reality. But if you are obsessed with knowing EVERY-THING or trying to do EVERY-THING or BE EVERY-THING so want SOME-THING so badly, you suffer. I find that many people here have go ton extreme enlightenment to the point they abandon this dream totally; as if they were to see a women getting raped they would do nothing, or they dont' care about any worldly issue; some even lost their emotions totally... There must be a balance between NO-THING and ALL-THINGS. We are here. We are not escaping anytime soon. Every time you trip, you escape but always return. Every time you meditate, you come back here...You might as well learn to manifest what you'd like to see in your reality while you're on this ride; but remember, that your power comes from NO-THING which allows you to do ANY-THING you want here. I hope this all makes sense.

@Joseph Maynor I now see rationalism as a tool kit to help in certain aspects, but can never, nor can tool, describe the true reality. I'm fine with paradoxes and all that now, because I have seen, in my trips, the infinite regress which came as form of a spiral that kept going and going and going.. I guess that's what one looks like lol -
You guessed correctly.

Good vid by Sahdguru that will help you get out of your self-made drama

I've watched many of the Christians VS atheists debates about God. My favorite Christian debater would be John Lennox, a professor of Mathematics at Oxford University, who uses logic to really put forward solid arguments. Of course, the Christian and Atheist both do not like the paradox of infinite regresses because it is illogical, But in Leo's videos, he says that this IS how it is. Now when I watched Leo's videos about Absolute Infinity I found them interesting; however, there is one thing that I think we have to reexamine closely and that is that infinity must always be moving; like perpetual energy, having cause and effect forever in a cyclic manner, or of some sort we cannot comprehend. On some of my trips, I've actually see this cyclical motion, which wasn't pleasant to be honest and was infinite in nature. But here's the issue: Time If I threw an apple at you and it took an infinite amount of time to get to you; it would never happen. How could it? Now the argument could be "time doesn't exist" or "God exists outside of time" . But what is time anyway, if not simply a measurement of motion from A to B; thus made up by an observer? Yet in order for God to do anything, it must also be moving, so even though there is no "time" per se, like there is no "evil", as we humans made up these concepts to observe and understand the universe/reality, this doesn't mean that those things do not actually have any basis or grounding because we can observe things moving and changing, even if it was an illusion. Leo speaks of the Absolute Infinity expanding forever in all directions, but also contracting forever inward; again this can be that we are limited in words to explain such a paradoxical phenomenon. In fact, even in his trips, he was moving forever into certain windows etc; but how can one be moving with no time. Even in my trip with DMT, when I met Hindu gods who destroyed my ego, each event happened in the infinite amount time I seemed to be there, and things were moving. One Christian debater, William Lane Craig, argues that God is in fact, "changeless" and is absolute. This to me means that his is always one way. But that would defy any infinite nature and make him finite. Another paradox: How could something changeless move or do anything at all? How could something changeless act? So you see here, both views are mind-boggling; to logically end an infinite regress, we would have to end up with a changeless eternal God, but then how can anything else be other than it; especially when we see things changing. And if we go with the infinite regress, how could anything happen either, when it would take an infinite amount of time for anything to happen. We can simply say "well it is how it is" but that's cannot be the truth. Of course the rebuttal will be, "but there is no Absolute Truths Angelo," yet that very statement you are claiming to be absolutely true. So I wouldn't throw logic out the window and simply say that answers should be paradoxical and we should accept them; even if reality is a hologram and a mirror mirroring itself, or is absolutely nothing. Discuss lol...

I had mentioned previously in another post that I would use my social media to help people become aware of Actualized.org. The only reason why I found this place was because a friend of mine told me about it, and I'm the kind of person who loves to share things I find very valuable to me. Since I've been watching Leo's videos and learning about all this stuff; I've changed dramatically, and rather quickly. Leo's work, and journey, basically verified what I was flirting with in my head for a while, but had no way of rationalizing to myself because my Ego is extremely logic-based. I feel obligated to share what I have learned here with people in my social circle who follow me on YouTube, but, more importantly, my Twitter which is almost 30k followers. I made this video to summarize what I learned (not too deep but deep enough) but also tell people to come here and watch Leo's videos on his YT channel. I don't think this violates any terms as I doubled checked them because I am not promoting myself; in fact, I'm promoting this place. My YouTube is just me talking about random things and ideas, my website is just me to post random things, and I don't sell any products nor do I offer any services. So I don't think this video is in any violation of the forum rules. My intention with this video is to simply share what I've learned thus far and put it in such a way my audience can understand at their level. My Twitter is political in nature so I find it important to show these people how duality is causing the very problems they face politically, and to transcend political positions, as I have begun to do myself. If you find it to be in violation, I will remove it, but I don't think it does and I hope more people come here, learn, and change their lives.

@Joseph Maynor I've pretty much watched enough of @Leo Gura videos to where I get the main jist of the teachings... unless it's "REAL" in this Illusion; manifested, then it is just made up concepts from the mind. Thus paradoxes are not an issue; its only issue in the language we use. Logic is a language; a language cannot explain anything truly, just describe and it is limited in doing so. So me being very logical in my arguments, are just a sliver of reality in that perspective. What is happening to me after encountering these videos and information is a feeling of freedom with is extremely empowering, in fact, I'm gonna post about it now. -
@Shiva Because nothing is permanent and is always changing; life and death; the 4 seasons,etc... cyclical
-
@Faceless you can "condition" yourself to be more open-minded, for example.. Condition is just a term to mean training... You can "train" yourself to better meditate.
-
@Faceless My experience that I am able to control my body the way I want to shows me there is no reason to believe anything external is controlling me. The fact that I may be able to notice thoughts, but also either choose to identify with them or not, proves to me, there is free will. So when one says, meditate; that is a decision to not identity with thoughts. So who chose that? Must be me.
-
@Faceless Sure I was long ago, until the age of 23, but I am 33 now so it doesn't anymore. The false religions of man use free will to enslave people to not "sin" which is bullshit. But there are some that believe there is no free will and God does everything. Why I believe in my version of " free will " is because I make decisions daily and I see no reason why for them to be illusions or fake. It is simply an assumption on both parts that it is either existent or nonexistent. If you were told nothing about the idea of no free will, why would you just randomly believe you dont have it when we SEEM to exercise it daily.
-
@Highest Well even most adamant Natural Reductionist Materialist will say its virtually impossible to trace all cause and effects from the beginning of time (if it were controlled by physics) that it's basically as if we really do have free will as it is ultimately distinguishable.
-
@Faceless Are we put here = Yes we were born into this matrix in human form. None of us were asked to be here while floating in celestial bodies ( or maybe we dont' remember lol) Do things happen to us? Yes. And what are we? Well, apparently we are God, or infinite fractal of God... now if this is the case, then I must ask you: Do you believe God does not have free will?
-
@AnTe So we are put here in this hallographic video game called life; which none of us chose to be here...but we can chose how to play the game...or are you saying; things happen to us, and we only have the "free will" to SEE them from different perspectives? So we cannot chose the scene, but we can choose how to interpret the scene, like art?

Ok

I'm new here and I already love the fact that I feel at "home" with people that are on "my level" and beyond; I've only encountered a handful of people in my life that even THINK on this level; one of them is @AnTe who actually began this journey before myself, but I found this forum and told him to come here as there were many others like us. Ante an I have been friends since high school and he moved to Hawaii right after we graduated, whereas, I went to the Marine Corps to go fight in fake wars for no reason. When I got out, and learned about the lies, I began to question EVERYTHING I knew; including my religion at the time (Catholicism) and have been "truth seeking" ever since 2006. Ante and I have kept in touch over the years and have grown together by having deep convos such as the ones we see here, but it was only just me and him doing it, whereas the rest of the people we knew, don't really care to go too deep. It's refreshing to be able to discuss these deep topics; while most of the population is talking about Karadisians and other nonsense. I was wondering, does this Forum ever do meet ups? Are there any annual meet ups or has anyone set up local meets up? If not, I think it should happen. Why? Because I would love to see a group like this be known to the world; and hopefully, one day gain enough traction where Leo or whomever could debate mainstream Atheists or Christians etc., on a public platform and watch them get their mind-blown. I myself have been getting a ton of traction, both negative and positive, during my own little political activism throughout the years, so I've been mentioned in Time, USA today, and all this other shit. How? Because I stand up to political correctness and other insanity that denies reality; thus I've been called everything imaginable from both sides of the political spectrum, simply for calling out double standards that exist in society based on race, tribalism, religion, whatever. I like to expose contradictions and lies; that's what I love to do, and there are some areas in politics or even history, we are not "allowed" to touch lest certain groups destroy you and try to ruin you life. So for me, I'm not afraid to rock the boat; in fact, I think i needs to be sunk and everyone learn to swim on their own...but that is just me lol. But anyway, my point is, wouldn't it be great to get together in real life and move this stuff back into the Matrix to wake everyone else up? I know I can certainly contribute spreading the existence of this forum and of Actualized.org, but imagine having meet ups like these other groups do. Shit even Athiests have meets up now; they call themselves the "Brights" Just a thought.

@Nahm Well I understood the idea when I got to this forum after watching Absolute Infinity videos, but I (Mr. Ego) always like to question shit and play devils advocate to understand any rebuttals that could come this way. -
Angelo John Gage replied to Will Bigger's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Nahm It's interesting you say that because one Christian scholar was debating and using the laws of Logic, his name was Matt Slick, and he stated that to end an infinite regress you must have an unmoved mover, citing the Three laws of logic; one being that you cannot be A and B at the same time: The Law of Identification. A student in the crowd stood up and said (paraphrasing): "Well in quantum computing, you can be BOTH 1 and 0...how do you explain that?" He tried to get out of it but couldn't lol. -

I appreciate it. And it is great to find a forum with such intelligent people who aren't close-minded so I can learn more. But think of this, in order for us to agree with your statement above, which I agree is true, is an absolute truth among us. But I guess you can say, it would be false to those who do not see what we see? So from their perspective is it false. So in a nondual sense, the statement above is true and false simultaneously depending on the observer... But, we know it to be true, and consensus cannot determine an absolute truth. I think the truth is out there and can be discovered, not made up. God = Truth. If the Truth is what IS, then I guess its just another way of saying the Truth is What IS. -

Watch this last night. Great video. But is it not an assumption that the universe is not rational? (playing devils advocate because I don't think it is either). Even us stating it is a-rational is something we made up to describe it from a human perspective. But if it is true, which I also agree that it is a-rational, than that statement would be what I call the Ultimate Truth, as it explains best what reality actually IS or how it seems to "act". So what I got from this video is that anything we come up with is simply a concept of the what we experiences, but is not the TRUTH in of itself. As Leo brought up in NLP, which I learned myself, "The Map is not the Territory"...So our concepts are not the Truth, but representative of it whether in language or symbols....But like I stated before, the Truth to me is something that is immutable; so a statement such as "The map is not the territory" is in fact, an absolute truth. See what I mean? -

@Joseph Maynor Ah I have yet to see this one lol. It will be interesting seeing Leo using rational arguments against rationality, and having us understand them rationally. But I'm always open-minded to new things... How do you guys think I got here haha. I'll get back to you later on this. Love this forum and all the bright minds in here...finally people to learn from. -

@Bebop Indeed. DMT will show you otherwise -

@Leo Gura Well I am new to this forum, so let me clarify, I am not a materialist and I agree with most of everything you taught in your videos; except free will, which is another topic. I am a Deist; but was very moved by your video of Absolute Infinity. I take it that everyone here who follows your work and believes that we are God and God is all are actually panentheists, which is a very interesting position that has gained my attention recently. Aside from that, I am well aware of your position in regards to this reality; but what I am saying, even if these things were all concepts, as you stated, since we cannot grab '1984' or put Arabic in our hands, that does not mean they were not created by God (us) in this dream, which is the realist dream I've ever seen lol. BTW speaking of dreams Leo, I had requested a video that I would like to see you do about dreams; what they actually are; are they actually happening as every other event etc...
