here's a calculator that will give you a ball park estimate for you and give you a break down in macronutrients as well (on the bottom of the page) https://tdeecalculator.net your "TDEE" is Total Daily Energy Expenditure; meaning, how many calories you burn during the day.

As a two-time war veteran, who unfortunately was duped to go fight in Iraq twice based on lies, I give a resounding NO. Do not join the military at all at this time. There is not one 'just' cause we are engaged in. If you insist on joining a branch of service, perhaps do something like the coast guard or national guard, where you can help people here at home rather than blowing up innocent people across the planet for special interests.

@Sahil Pandit Intermittent fasting is not the best way to build muscle, but it is a great way to lose fat; mostly due to the fact that when you fast, your HGH does increase and it does mobilize fatty acids, but the HGH increase in a fasted state is there to PRESERVE muscle, not build it. You need to be in a calorie surplus to build muscle, unless you are totally an untrained newbie who is embarking on a body transformation for the first time, could do a full body recomposition simply by working out and eating as they were.
-
In order to build muscle, you need to be in a calorie SURPLUS. So whatever caloric intake you are at now, you need to increase it by 10%. You could increase it higher but you'd gain more fat that way. So say if you are eating 3000 calories a day, you will need to eat 3300 calories a day. What diet you choose is irrelevant; what matters you must eat a minimum of 1g of protein per pound of bodyweight. Whether you go zero carb, low carb or high carb doesn't matter so long as the body has the amino acids and calories to build new tissue. Meta-analyses have been done that show protein is the determining factor for the success of diets both geared for fat loss and muscle gain. However, certain diets will make this more of a pain-in-the ass; example, doing this on a vegan diet will be difficult because the amount of veggies you'd have to eat to reach 200 grams of protein would be astronomical. You could get around this by drinking protein shakes and make it happen, but typically people will do high carb/high protein diet, since glucose is the preferred fuel that the body likes to use to engage in intense lifting, which is what builds muscle. Paleo is a made up diet, like many of these fad diets. Our ancestors at that time were constantly looking for food and were not huge and muscular. They didn't have access to avocados and all these other paleo-friendly foods which are marketed today, most of which are actually are farmed foods. Broccoli and veggies we eat today were genetically modified via farming them from their wild origin to be edible. Paleo has been debunked in this regard. It has been shown that human beings ate what their environment provided and many ethnic groups across the world have adapted to their regional resources. People who say carbs are bad have to explain why the Okinowans eat 85% carb (rice) and have the longest life spans; others who say fats are bad have to explain how the Inuit eat literally only fat and protein... If dairy is bad, they have to explain why European farmers evolved the gene to process dairy whereas Asian populations of the world, who did not farm cows, did not get this gene. So don't worry about which diet is 'healthy' or not; all diets are fine so long as you are active and are not in a caloric surplus too long which leads to fat gain, insulin resistance, and diabetes. Essentially, you have to tailor a diet that your body responds to. Some people like to eat paleo because they enjoy running on fats; others feel the need for carbs. There is no cookie cuter diet, so do what I did and try them all until you figure out what works best for you. But aside from that, in you're unable to build muscle it is because you need to eat more calories.

1.) If God could clone himself (itself), would the clone be God? In other words, could two absolute infinites exist simultaneously? > I don't think so. What do you think? 2.) In the materialist paradigm, if I think of a pink unicorn, I am actually creating it with my thoughts; if everything is physical and material, so are my thoughts. Suppose I sustained this thought for my entire life; imagining the pink unicorn living its life in its entirety; eating, sleeping, jumping around, even reproducing, every day, until I died. During this time, this imagined unicorn, if it is all physical, would actually exist in my mind somewhere. If there was a way to take those atoms, and 'blow them up' or observe them in my mind, how is this not the same as us looking at everything else that is physical in this world. In other words, the pink unicorn does actually exist in my mind and it no different than it existing in 'reality' if everything is material. Now, one can say, "Well this is not an objective experience, it is in your mind" but if thoughts are physical and can be examined some how, it is irrelevant where these atoms come together and exist. So basically, how is this any different from the universe 'thinking' or 'dreaming' all this reality up, as we examine this physical reality. One would say "objectively" we see no pink unicorns, but all one would have to do, is examine my thoughts somehow and everyone could see it. > This idea has been in my mind lately, and I'm trying to see if it makes sense to you folks in regards to the materialist paradigm.

Long post but I think worth the read, so please stick with me. Almost a year ago, a young friend of mine sent me a link to @Leo Gura videos since he enjoys watching them. I began to watch his videos and over time, many have changed my life profoundly. Between watchin his videos, reading from Marcus Aurelius' "Meditations", and listening to hours of Alan Watts, I find myself once again "changing" my views about everything. All of this helped me break through much personal, internal suffering and ignorance. I have a very unstable personality; what I mean by that, is that I almost have no ground and completely have been trying to find myself over the last several years. But one thing was always consistent, and that was 'truth seeking.' My truth seeking began after I left the Marine Corps after serving twice in Iraq. It's not hard to imagine how learning the entire war was based on lies that lead me to question ALL of reality and my life totally. This betrayal was very painful of course. I was raised Catholic but left that at age 23 after the war; I began to research how we, the "good guys" were dropping white phosphorous gas on Iraqis, committing all sorts of war crimes. I questioned Catholicism and left that due to inconsistencies. Further research lead me to question even history, including revisionist history; from WW2 and other things; to all sorts of conspiracy theories (some true). Naturally, these things lead me to change my various political ideologies; going from "liberal" to "republican" to even "white nationalist" at one point because I learned about "race realism." During my various evolutions, I created Twitter and YouTube accounts. My non-PC approach had gotten me quite popular on Twitter, which lead to going viral on many websites, even mainstream and alternative; even Wikileaks sharing my content because of activism. The boost also came especially from the Trump crowd, who I voted for after dropping my White Nationalist beliefs which contained several fallacies and are simply not applicable to the USA. I joined the MAGA crowd believing Trump would deliver us from these shadowy globalist figures trying to rule the world. Now, there certainly is a plot to destroy Western Civilization with forced diversity and multiculturalism, along via debt usury and controlled media, this isn't even hidden, but not just the West, but also the entire planet via these systems. I am against any form of supremacy where one group wishes to impose their will on another. Regardless of people's political positions here ( it seems many are left-leaning socialists), I think we all agree to live and let live, so even if some group of Nazis wanted to live in Iceland left alone in their own racially homogenous society, without trying to conquer others, to go in and impose diversity on them against their will, would make you a supremacist, for example. The opposite would also hold true: If you wanted to force a diverse society to become homogenous against the people's will, you would be just as guilty. Trump however, betrayed his promise of not 'dancing to the false song of globalism' which is the real reason I voted for him. I don't care about a wall or other things which can be reversed by the next president, but I wanted to see someone stand up against the Globalist bankers and warmongers. But by striking Syria twice when there was zero evidence that Assad gassed his own people, showed me even Trump was compromised. For those of you who would have voted Hillary, things would be a lot worse as she was 100% for globalist wars, where Trump is more about Neoconservative wars. Either way, it was clear to me this shit is compromised. Since Bush already lead me and my fellow marines into a fake war based on lies, I wasn't going to make the same mistake again, so immediately criticized Trump and got even more viral, this time, promoted by the Syrians and others in the Middle East. Of course I pissed off the MAGA crowd which I realized had become a cult, (same thing as Antifa or even White Nationalism) although I managed to pull some sensible people from and influential people from the crowd with me. I realized that even Islam, which I harshly criticized and totally reject (along with all religions), is being further demonized as a WHOLE (all Muslims narrative) to PUSH war in the Middle East. I do not want to see any innocent people die in any more fake wars, regardless of what they believe or not, so even though I have been exposing religion, I have people who support my efforts regardless, because no sane person wants WAR. I know this isn't a political forum, but I feel its not possible for me to describe my personal growth without these details. I have no shame of my past because each experience lead me here. So Donald was my last straw, where I decided to totally break away from politics and just push for "justice" and exposing liars, on all sides and pushing against any fake wars against Syria and even Iran. I realized I had to be grounded in myself, if that makes any sense. All while this happened, I was simultaneously watching Leo's videos to deal with this other betrayal. It was such a betrayal to me because I had abandoned politics totally after my two tours in Iraq; I haven't voted since I was 18, so me voting at 33 after decades of giving up, really stung. I got sucked bac into the bullshit so to speak. Me pushing for Trump and convincing others to vote for Trump makes me feel I am complicit in what has happened and will happen. So I'm on Twitter doing what I can to spread the anti-war message, even though I hate politics, it seems to be a necessary evil to organize or attempt to organize humanity. And this is done by ISMs. Of course there are some truths in EVERY perspective, but also falsehoods. Almost everything I believed had a falsehood in it. As Leo stated in his recent 4hr video, everything has problems; there is not one place that doesn't have problems, that includes any ISM or anything in reality I would say. All these ISMs, even non-dualism, are just ways of organizing human thoughts, basically categories of ideas, almost like their own religions. SO any ISM we choose to believe, we put on the lenses of that ISM and see the world limited from that ISM. We cannot put all ISMs on simultaneously and see all things from all perspectives; we can only focus on one thing at a time, even when looking at Sameness and Differences. We cannot see both simultaneously, but can notice one after the other. In regards to my older worldviews, I have grown a lot. I have suffered much mental turmoil in the last several years; naturally as I consistently was bitch-slapped by reality and having to battle my ego. I have made many external changes by getting rid of all sorts of addictions and negative people. I have made many changes internally to the point where I have become "blank", just recently actually by being brutally honest with myself and accepting 'losses'. My absence from this board was me stepping away even from actualizing so I could absorb everything. I do have PTSD and other issues, but everything about my life: my wife, son, family, finances, are all 'good' and in place, but the internal struggle, which is all made up in my head; exacerbated by the fact I know its all bullshit but still let it affect me, seems to be coming to an end because I have turned 'blank' as I have mentioned. By blank I mean that I cannot even get offended personally; dealing with SJWs and Twitter trolls, White Nationalists, Nazis, Communists, Antifa, MGTOW, Feminists, MAGA crowd, Hillary Crowd, etc and all sorts of people I've pissed off (there isn't one group I haven't offended by being honest) and this is because I have become "tribeless" in a sense. I have gotten death threats and all sorts of attacks that none affect me, and this is because I feel my ego has submitted to the truths I've learned here. In other words, it is working for me now with the flow, knowing it cannot control external things, but only my directing mind as Marcus Aurelius has said. Watching Leo's videos and also going through the different experiences I have mentioned above, have lead me to feel finally on the correct path. Perhaps the things I mentioned about White Nationalism and "race realism" have turned many of you off, but that is fine, because it was a part of my path. I was never a "racist" in the sense that I hated other races, but I did become race-obsessed about preserving white people, not mixing, and all these biological facts and statistics. I did do some good political activism against "anti-white" racism, because now you can all see that it clearly exists, and it is wrong as much as racism against POC. Race realism, however, also showed me all the beautiful diversity among the human species and made me appreciate it more. As Leo mentioned, people tend to look at our racial differences rather than similarities. Race realism is helpful with medicine and all sorts of things, but does ZERO to help you make judgments on an individual basis. I know all the arguments of the race realists and those against them as well; ultimately, I don't care about it anymore and I do not find anything wrong with certain groups of any kind trying to preserve themselves, but I find when someone takes their TRIBALISM and turns a blind eye to evils within their own group, it is hypocrisy and harmful to all groups. The key word here is TRIBALISM. So when I say I am blank now, it also means that I am tribeless. I have put aside all ISMs. Sure, I do believe in DEISM, which now I tend to lean more towards Pantheism or something similar, but I do not attach myself to that in the sense I am not invested whether or not they are true. Sure I subscribe to Nationalism, but in the sense that the world should be organized like the human body; each nation contributing and working together like our organs do for the whole, instead of bombing each other over nonsense or forcing each other to blend racially, culturally, religiously to prevent "racism" "xenophobia" etc, when even forcefully blending against people's will to achieve some kind of moral victory, IS actually a form of bigotry, racism, and xenophobia against those who wish otherwise. The same applies in reverse. It all comes down to being against VIOLATING PEOPLE'S WILL. I realized that all of this matters and it doesn't at the same time. Of course many of you here on this board are way above these things, again, I know it's not a political forum but want you to understand my thoughts on this all. In regards to spirituality, science, and God, I've come to realize that words like "physical" or "metaphysical" mean nothing. Materialism or non-materlism don't matter; basically the sameness and differences apply to all things as Leo stated its the fundamental construction of reality. I see the Existence as an eternally evolving organismic which will take all forms whether we like it or not; whether 'good' or 'evil', as it must be everything it can potentially be. So I summarize my current beliefs as such: There is the Existence, as Sadhguru would say. This is the totality of all things, the Absolute Infinity, as Leo preaches. Now to further expand on this from my view: Anything that happens within the existence is always "natural," there is no "supernatural". God is not supernatural. There is no 'paranormal"... it is normal, as it is naturally occurring in the existence (if it is true). There is no 'unnatural' stuff in this reality; even plastic, which is not "naturally" occurring, has been created by beings (us) which came about 'naturally'. Plastic is made of 'natural' elements. Of course, there are consequences mixing plastics with certain things, but even mixing naturally occurring things have consequences such as explosive elements. The Existence is intelligence because it produces intelligence, something stupid could not produce something intelligent. I believe evolution is not a dumb, blind process, nor it is intelligently designed, but IS intelligent itself. I believe the Existence (God) is everything, including the evil pedophiles and warmongers; because God is simply the facilitator of all Existence. In order for god to know all, see all, and be everywhere, he must BE all things. Science is a measuring device, nothing more. I reject Scientism. Time doesn't exist; it too is a measure of motion, created by us. God cannot see the future, because it doesn't exist, there is only now. The past also doesn't exist, it is a memory of nows that happened 'before'. It only exists in our minds in the 'before' box, just like the future does in the "possible future" box. God cannot know what doesn't exist, nor does this make him less omniscient. God cannot create a rock that he cannot lift because it is impossible; omnipotence is everything that is possible, not impossible. We are God in the sense that God manifests itself as us, however, you and I are not the absolute infinity, but we are part of it; like your heart is not your entire body, but it is part of your body. Without your heart you could not be, without us, God could not be, and vice versa. Since there are smaller parts of infinity, this is no contradiction because we are made of infinity, but again, we are not the Absolute Infinity because in order for God to change or evolve or even experience itself, it must become finite infinities, if that makes sense. The totality of God cannot just be found in you, but it is in the same image, so to speak. All the other things I mentioned above politically and all, are just labels of distinctions of actions and events that are all happening in God's "set body" . Since God evolves in all forms, all forms and events that have happened are it. The wars in this world are no different than the wars in this bacteria in your gut has; or like your T-cells killing disease. You can probably see by now I agree much with how Alan Watts believed, but I don't think we should just not act at all. Imagine if your T-cells decided not to do their job or do their part, you would die. Each of us has a role and a part to play in this infinite dream. Why am I sharing this? Well, perhaps others here have had similar experiences and again, my ego can care less about judgement from others, so I am willing to open myself up and share in hopes people can see the sameness in my growth as in theirs. I think this forum and Leo's work is crucial. I do not like how some of this forum has turned into Leo worship, and I know he doesn't like it either, but I do want to thank Leo for his hard work, research and wonderful content. I want him to know he has influenced my growth and guided me in what I believe is the right path. If only Leo was more open to expanding his enterprise globally; in person, via speaking tours and seminars, I'm sure many of us would love to help, would greatly help human progress. Why I think it is important for that to happen is because of the things I mentioned above about politics: People are dying in fake wars, children and being massacred and slaughtered for profit and supremacist beliefs. I do not think it is 'right' of us to know all this and keep it to ourselves. I saw a post the other day where someone wanted to go live in a monastery to escape this shitty world, but what good is that? Shouldn't we stay here on the front so to speak and "fight" the ignorance. Now you can argue that we need ignorance in the whole to know what enlightenment is, so we could never eliminate it, which is true, but to not act in our nature and do our part, is like saying "Well there is no point to stop some rapes that I could stop because I could never stop all rapes." I don't believe the "way" is for us to accept this world and reality and be like, " Hey, bro, so what if kids are bombed, its just a dream man." because we could technically say that. "We have no free will Angelo, it seems God wants to bomb himself." Nonsense. We do have agency. And even if we didn't, we have our finite nature do we not? Even if we were robots as materialists claim, our programming would make us act against certain other programming. Either way, we all have our personalities and our drives. I for one wish to see justice served and a more orderly world, where we can at least reduce "evil" that mankind faces to natural disasters, rather than needless conflict. Again, probably delusional to think it could totally be reduced, but I think its a cop out and rejection of responsibility to know truths such as these and do nothing. To conclude this long ass post, I just want to thank Leo and even everyone here in this community; I guess its my ego but I feel its necessary we reach out to more people. I have done my part by spreading Actualized videos on my Twitter which has a large following. I know I can do more, and I think we all should. I think with this knowledge comes great responsibility, and to not accept that is irresponsible. Again, maybe it's the 'warrior' in me and not everyone is made the same way, but I feel, we should spread this truth like Socrates did, even if it ends in our death, which none of us here should fear.

An important test to figure out how your neurotransmitter set up you have. At the end of this test, you will learn if you are Dopamine, Serotonin, Gaba, Acetylocholine dominate and which you are deficient in. http://www.bravermantest.com/

Below is a Link to Codeacamedy which offers a 2.5 month course for only $199 that will give you the skills to make an average of 60k a year as a freelancer coder to me. I just started it a two months ago and I am almost done. I have taken my time as well; you can go at your own pace. They have slack channel with other students in the room and also a direct live chat with instructors in each section. It also has some projects in which you have to submit by certain deadlines for them to review and give you feedback, but give you two weeks grace period. I learned really fast and its very cool to know this stuff I think in a day and age of digital technology. I know there are "free" websites and programs out there but for me, I need a program to follow in order to get things done in a timely fashion. I'm not selling this to anyone, there is no referral link as you can see no "ref" on the link I just think its good to know this stuff and its not hard once you learn the language. Classes start April 10 and enrolled ends the 9th. https://www.codecademy.com/pro/intensive/build-websites-from-scratch

So I'd like to see what most of you have concluded here: What IS life's purpose? If there is one, wouldn't this imply that there is a predetermined fate? If so, this would deny free will. I know most of you here believe there is no free will, and if you believe this, then you must believe that your only purpose is to submit to the flow and you have no choice, no reason to worry, no reason to strive to make any changes, because all those things would happen regardless as they are predetermined to happen. There are some who believe life has no purpose or meaning, and that we are here to create meaning and purpose for ourselves. I find myself in this camp mostly, because I do believe in free will (limited however). In this case, life's meaning is subjective and there is no standard purpose for us and so we take our infinite selves and create special unique 'life' in the absolute, whatever we wish it to be. We weren't created to achieve a goal or for any reason specifically. We weren't created to 'serve' God, but simply because God creates things. One can argue, our physical 'purpose' is survive and replicate, as all life does, but we are way more complex than most life out there (that we know of). Perhaps God also is here to replicate infinitely. But just surviving and replicating does not fulfill any nonphysical and emotional 'needs' we may have. I know none of us have the answer, nor will we ever, but curious to see different perspectives.

You need to realize I'm literally attacking Muhammad. Rejecting anything here is a direct rejction of his word and thus rejecting Islam in totality. You cannot nitpick.
-
@Akim You can argue that religions had a purpose, perhaps to progress our species forward into civilization, and I argue now that we know these things are lies that were basically created to do just that, that we don't need them anymore and can move forward with logic and reason. The Roman empire had its Pagan gods, so did the Greeks, but even all of these were man-made, yet they had morals in which they came about with reason and philosophy. But a lie is a lie, even if it does good...eventually it will collapse upon itself and cause chaos. Many Christian apologists like John Lennox (whom I like by the way and has a great debate with Dawkins) will point out that Christianity helped science move forward, as many scientists were believers in God trying to learn his laws. But we don't need to be Christian or Muslim or anything to do science, nor do we need ancient texts to teach us morals. We also don't need just science, as the only thing that can help us create morality is Philosophy + Science combined. For example, if science proved that all animals KNOW that they are being tested on and are aware and feel pain just like us, that would be a great deal of evidence to come to the moral conclusion, philosophically, that animal testing is wrong. But if science proved, somehow, that all animals did not feel any pain at all, and it only seemed that way, what would your take on animal testing be? If from day one these religions were honest about their stories and said they were just myths to teach morality, like Dr. Seuss books, then I wouldn't have an issue, but the contrary is true and billions of people probably died over this crap. I've seen too many people die over these lies.
-
@Empty Also, there are many well known Muslim scholars such as Dr. Nadik Zakir who confirm this by claiming that Allah made her reach puberty earlier and also stating some nonsense that people closer to the equator reach puberty faster.
-
I'm surprised a religion such as Islam is even being discussed in this forum when we all know its man-made nonsense. If anything we should be moving mankind away from these 'revealed' myths and forward to true spirituality. Muhammad was a war-mongering, genocidal, pedophile, this is irrefutable and not even debatable. Several Muslims argue me on this and they cannot even refute this point, why because it is literally written in the Quran that his wife was 9 when he had sex with her and he PERSONALLY went on Jihads killing people. Furthermore, Jihad is Good! And the "little Jihad" Leo speaks of, well, only cost about 200 millions lives and Islam has been at war with itself and the rest of the planet for 1400 years. Christianity is not innocent either. I'm an Ex Roman Catholic and realized my religion was also a death cult. Jesus, if he even existed, was simply a man who went around trying to save jews from their backward religion, until he pissed him off so bad they executed him. There is no evidence that he had any powers or was God, other than the claims written in the book which is in question and cannot be used to prove itself true. However, Christ's own words didn't come true and he said false things himself, so we know he was full of shit. Thomas Paine does a wonderful job refuting the Bible in Age of Reason, using the Bible itself. Judaism, well I doubt anyone of you actually read the horrific, anti-Gentile, racist, vitriol hate for the non-Jews in the Talmud, because then you would be called an anti-semite. Every Jewish holiday is actually a celebration of a military victory over their enemies; from Hanukkah, Passover and Purim. Far from peaceful. Also, lets not forget the 'chosen one' status which these people claim over all humanity. Moses, also was another warmongering genocidal maniac. There is no misinterpretation about needing stone your belligerent teenagers or Moses telling his Jewish clan to exterminate entire tribes; including their animals, taking the virgin women as their own. Much of this is also found in Islam. The attempts here to make these religions seem nice and misunderstood is typical nitpicking, while rejecting the very clear commands from the so-called "god" of Abraham, who is no doubt, in my mind, a demon. Since none of use wrote these scriptures, it is always up for debate, yet there are clear things that are not vague at all and need no debate, such as stoning gay people where you find them, or killing a non-believers until all of them believe in Allah. Or when the True Messiah returns, every Jew will have 2800 gentiles slaves. On cannot possibly consider these religions peaceful in any sense; even Christ said " I came not to bring peace, but the sword." just because there are some peaceful things spoken in these cosmic comic books, doesn't mean any of it is true. There's plenty of morality in Spider Man comics too. "But Angelo, that is not what is meant, evil men corrupted them over time" is more bullshit. How do you know what was corrupted, which scriptures are true or false? Is Adam and Eve just an allegory that wasn't true; Did Jonah get swallowed by a whale and live in there for three days? Was the horrific book of Job just a tale? Did Muhammad really split the moon in half (obviously not)? Furthermore, the Bible was actually democratically voted on in the Council of Nicea. In other words, men chose which was the word of God or not. Of course those of use smart enough realize that these are just comic books that were written to teach the population at the time, some kind of twisted morality, but many people will claim these books are infallible (with all of their contradictions) and the word from God himself and go out literally killing people over it. None stories had the disclaimer: "The following is fiction" and others "The following is true and not fiction". None of them. That is why we have to reject the entirety of these things; especially when these stories are full of the most horrific and disturbing shit you could ever read. If we are truly trying to advance mankind and personal development, exposing the truth about these so-called 'religions' (death cults) is our obligation. The Hadiths ENSURE that Muhammad's scriptures are clear. Of course, the main pushers of Islam are allowed to practice Taqqiya, which it is OK to lie to non-believers to advance Islam. Judaism allows Jews to swindle gentiles with usury; even kill them as it is not even considered a sin lol. Now you see why Israel treats the Palestinians as they do, because they think they are subhuman cattle. I can see Leo's intentions with trying to make sense or opening people's minds, but again, its just his way of looking at a pile of shit and telling us its actually OK, like the other infinite false interpretations which does no good in the end because he does not explain all the sexism, racism, slavery, pedophilia, genocide, guilt, supremacism, bigotry, etc that are found in ALL of these across the board. The personal Jihad is true, but that is the 'little Jihad" one personal level; while the BIG Jihad, which is the enslavement or forced conversion all non-believers to Islam, which has been in progress for 1400 years, is obviously something that cannot be explained away with subjective opinions on this subject. Something based on a lie needs to be fully exposed and obliterated no matter who gets offended. These religions are a cancer upon mankind; there is no 'saving them' or modernizing them since they are all bullshit and it would be best if they were completely removed from this Earth.

Angelo John Gage replied to Angelo John Gage's topic in Life Purpose, Career, Entrepreneurship, Finance
Yes well I have been in states which there was nothing but existence itself. It doesn't tell me why or what its purpose was if any. The only thing I can conclude is that there is no purpose, which is what I leaned towards anyway. -

When I was deployed in Iraq, I thought it was silly that the porta Johns the Arabs had were basically ones in which you squat down. Well, they were right. The western toilet is unnatural for pooping but the squatty potty fixes that. They work quite well. The video explains why https://www.amazon.com/Squatty-Potty-Original-Bathroom-Toilet/dp/B00ESKVN7W/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1522847624&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=squatty+potty&psc=1

Notice that words are telling you that you are not awake fully and need to find more. Isn't this more clumsy nonsense the ego is telling you? -
Angelo John Gage replied to molosku's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I think there is a confusion about what "truth" is. There are 'truths' inside of this matrix such as "Today is Weds", "your name is X", "I'm posting on actualized. org" . If you think these truths are false because of enlightenment then you will drive yourself mad. You can have true and false things in this world, but they aren't the 'ultimate' truth. It is true that Superman dies in the comic books, but superman doesn't actually exist in real life, he is made up. It would be false if I said, "No superman doesn't die in the comics because death isn't real" and applying that so-called truth about death into a made up comic book story. So sure, one can argue that The ultimate truth is that all these things are made up, just like Superman. and none of them are technically true or false from the standard of absolute existence, but that doesn't make them false in the correct context, otherwise we can go claim everything we want is false or true and push lies and distortions that are not factual in our reality that we made up. Because we didn't make up the reality actually, we simply labeled it and gave things and events in it names. Example: Runner A is faster than Runner B, because Runner A won the race. If you were to say, "well this is all a dream and a hologram so neither won or lost," now you're going too far in my opinion, which will cause more problems by denying the motions of this reality. Understand that the things we use to label things this or that are made up, but what they represent are not made up. -

After the course you will have the skills to freelance, essentially doing work on your own. Not sure if a company would just hire you without a degree; we know how that scam works these days. -
Thanks man in a funny hat, we already knew this... I was raised Catholic myself, and during my time in the Iraq war, I quickly realized how much bullshit all of these things are. WE are in hell, or heaven, whatever we make this world to be. https://www.cnsnews.com/blog/michael-w-chapman/pope-francis-there-no-hell

There is no "need" for God because he doesn't serve you. But "need" doesn't mean he doesn't exist. We don't need chocolate, but it exists. My definition of God, which I came to before I ever found Actualized was simple this: The Ultimate Facilitator of ALL existence. Anything we attribute to this is our perception and not necessarily true. My post was simply trying to understand this Facilitator is. -

For most my life, I was Catholic (until the age of reason) as George Carlin put it (8 for him but 23 for me lol). I was then atheist for like 2 mins, then agnostic, but then I ran into Deism, since I just intuitively believed in a high power. There are three versions of Deism: Classical Deism: is a philosophical belief that posits that God exists and is ultimately responsible for the creation of the universe, but does not interfere directly with the created world. Pandeism: is a theological doctrine which combines aspects of pantheism and deism. It holds that the creator of the universe actually became the universe, and so ceased to exist as a separate and conscious entity. ( I guess he was the big bang) Panendeism: is a sub-category of Deism. It is based on the speculation that the universe is a part of god, but not all of god and literally means "all in god". I used to hold the classical view, but after learning much here I'm believing more of the panedeistic view... I'm assuming that is what most people believe here, according to this picture from https://panendeism.org/gods-interaction-in-panendeism-compared/ I also partially believe we are gods ourselves, clearly we must be finite versions of the infinity, but I don't understand why some of us would come into this reality to end up being tortured to death by a drug cartel. I try to look at it from a nonbiased view like "well, that has to happen as one of the infinite possibilities and that part of god (me and you) had to play that roll" but its just a cop out almost to think God or any of us, would want to suffer a brutal death like that. The problem of evil is why I choose to believe that God does not intervene with our affairs or the universe at all. However, I realized a fatal flaw in my own logic with Classical Deism: I usually condemn the God of the Bible for his evils and demands of worship and sacrifices etc, along with is apparent revelations through his prophets and direct manipulation of mankind, but the Deistic god who does none of that, and he is like the dead beat father who left his kid on someone's porch. I came to this conclusion when I started to reflect what kind of father I would be if I simply made my son and left him to his own devices and never interacted with him or saw him. I made my son, I do not rule over him, but as a father, I would not want to see my son hurt himself. how could God allow evil to exist even if he was distant. Free will cannot even be the answer, which it was for me, but I realized, my son has free will and I would not allow him to be hurt if I could stop it. Yet God of Deism must choose not to stop it. I'm just spit balling here to see where this convo goes. -

It is certainly bad from the deer's perspective to be eaten by the lion, and good for the lion so it can feed its cubs. You see, what's good for one is always bad for another in this dualism. When I watch these horrific cartel executions, I don't see how it does any good for anyone involved; especially for the person being murdered. I can only hope the person was deserving of it; maybe a rapist or a pedophile. But anyway, most post was trying to see what this forum basically leans towards, and I was assuming the last model in the picture I posted. -
Turns out it is fake news... even in Italy has this issue, sadly. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/world/2018/03/29/did-pope-francis-say-there-no-hell-not-quite-vatican-insists/470442002/ i certainly don't disagree with the idea of different dimensional planes of the inifite, some certianly being hellish, but the biblical nonsense that we will go there for eternity if we don't listen to whatever is another story. btw @Leo Gura not sure if you check your inbox often, but I had sent a message about meet ups in the NYC area to help you expand Actualized into this area.

Of course, we can argue the possibility of anything, my point is these people made it up, because even in the bible there are no versus about there being a hell, just that at the judgement you are discarded in the lake of fire, which means you are totally destroyed dont exist at all rather than getting an after life of worshipping god as a slave forever.
