Which is what I implied. Some sort of corruption. We can see in many cultures torture, inquisitions, burning at the stake, etc... So perhaps the Sages of the Aztec were simply outnumbered by egotistical masses.
-
Well yes, they sacrificed to appease their deities
-
Yes in that view of course all this is just motion of "god" and none of it is good or bad, but it is very hard to say its "good" when you go watch a drug cartel video of someone getting flayed alive. So I am speaking as a human here.
-
Well I'm asking the latter questions. Someone who is nondual would not do such things is my point; right or wrong is irrelevant in this case I would think.
-
That still doesn't address why they would do it and furthers my point. If they Aztecs were nondualists, why would they kill themselves in that manner?
-
Right this isn't an attack on their culture; it just makes no sense how nondualists could commit such atrocities even on their own tribe. The Abrahamic faiths are dualistic in nature, so one can easily say burn the witch or heretic because they are not considered to be one.

Read the works of Bad Boy (Bad Boy lifestyle) who is a Croation war veteran that teaches direct approaching Pick Up without the BS openers and all that. He focuses mainly on body language and inner 'game' which is the most important. If you're a confident man, you can literally say anything and it can work, so long as your body language is congruent and as Leo says if your message is GENUINE. The reason I don't mention Mystery Method is because his book, Venutian Arts Handbook is all about gambits and openers; fake-it-till-you-make- approach whereas Bad Boy Lifestyle is more genuine. I used to suck with women, and after reading these kinds of materials, learned that my approach to women (sucking up to them instead of treating them like any other guy friend) was the OPPOSITE of what needed to be done. I became a man whore for a few years. It was fun for sure, but even that gets old. Also don't get addicted to "gaming"; some of these PUA people make women into 'targets,' become obsessed with each approach, turn robotic and ultimately reduce women to numbers; thinking, as many young men do, that the more women you sleep with, the more of a man you are... This is nonsense. But that doesn't mean that reading these materials isn't helpful, because they are very helpful in understanding human social dynamics. In the end, the PUA community just took behavioral sciences and made them simpler to understand. So you could start gaming with the Venuitan Arts Handbook to learn all the facts presented in it by Eric Markovic (Mystery) , but I personally never found his gambits to be fun; I felt fake doing it and I quickly stopped doing it. But the book will certainly teach you how women think and how the mating game works. A few other people to check are: David D'Angelo Tyler Durden All of the PUA people have YouTube videos you can just watch their content and learn there for free. Learning from them, I really just became more direct, cocky-funny, playful and uncaring of the outcomes. Women can smell insecurity from a mile away and will reject you simply on that. The most important thing is "inner game" as I said; a simple "Hi" is enough if you're confident enough and are able to keep the conversation going after that. So I suggest you take a look at these materials so you can learn how to express that confidence properly, because pick up is actually a form of sales, and you are the product.

Me trying to explain to those stuck in Abrahamic faiths what "god" actually is... You'll notice what is a combination of teachings from Leo, Alan Watts and Marcus Aurelius. I use a white board and actually draw it all out. What do you guys think?
-
@Serotoninluv That I understand, my point being is that all we have to communicate that makes any sense between us is logic. I know its impossible for me to totally explain any spiritual experience.

interesting folks

I'm curious to see everyone's experience here on which are the top 3 videos Leo produced that profoundly changed your life in some way. Put which one Then add what it did. For me: Episodes on Absolute Infinity => Made me realize god cannot be a person, thus shedding any monotheistic views and leading to more research into non-dualism and eastern ways of looking at it. Episode on Moralizing => helped me shed the decades of programming which lead to harsh criticisms of myself and others due to violations of so-called societal norms. Episode where he explains the work of Derrida that all language basically is circular and cannot explain anything; (could be the strange loop video I don't remember) => this had a profound impact on me because I am very logical and analytic person; so I believed if something is illogical then it is untrue, but this video showed that is not the case, and truth exists beyond logic (like a strange loop or nondualism). What about you guys?

@MM1988 I still have to watch all of the spiral dynamics; they are so long lol

@Leo Gura Got it. Thanks brother.
-
@Leo Gura thanks for your feedback, I really appreciate that you liked it. The reason why I say "believe" is because I'm trying to be unbiased in the video, (I say In my opinion, etc) and not act like I know for a fact, even though I personally experienced what "God" is (at least partially): I have done DMT and other psychedelics; so I have seen what probably most of us who have done it have seen. I have been to that green room of infinite eyes; experienced the timelessness of the trip, the vast infinite fractals...I know there is more, but the totality of the absolute infinity is unknowable. I know I don't have as much experience as you have in this regard; I know you've done entire retreats and way more DMT trips than myself lol (I have no 5-Meo DMT source) but even my one trip I got a glimpse of knowing that there is something within lead me to find your videos and the works of many others to help communicate these ideas. And you're right, any interlocutor would challenge my absolute statement that "god is real" and ask me to prove it...all I would have is my subjective experience. I know we don't have to prove it to anyone, nor could we (they would have to experience it themselves), but this is why I put a "logical examination" in the title. All we have is logic and language to try to explain things. My only goals in this video was to let viewers see the other ways to look at God, see the inconsistencies and contradictions within their own religious beliefs, and hopes to help them break from the spell logically, until they go experience it themselves, directly.

I think I do clear up what you think I said incorrectly towards the end lol.
-
Indeed. I appreciate the feedback.
-
I don't think I say in the video that they did.. but i'm saying that what we should call "god" they would call what is

There are no magic pills. sure something can raise your metabolism to aid in fat loss, but you must be in a caloric deficit
-
Hey guys, I've seen a few posts about fat loss and people having trouble with it so I made a video addressing that and more. Hope it helps.

BKind of makes you wonder what is the point of doing all this actualizing when you can never escape suffering not rid yourself of the ego? Well, I think its the fact accepting this is part of the evolutionary process of "you" being necessary. If everything always worked and was perfect, nothing would improve and in fact, there would be no way to know it was perfect. Suffering is necessary for all evolution of life, in all its forms, mental and physical. So when you have ego backlash, think of it like a rainy day that must happen to water the flowers for new growth. When I first started my whole journey of trying to enlighten myself, I believed it was about ridding the ego, but it is not; its just knowing what it is and what you really are. I don't believe there is such a thing of being enlightened; this concept is bullshit if you ask me. You can experience the Absolute and all that nice stuff, but it is an experience to learn what reality is and you relation to it. I would not trust these 'gurus' out there who run around with monotone voices who put on this show of utter peace and tranquility. I came to learn even one of my favorites, Alan Watts, died an alcoholic, had divorced several times and was a mess at the end. But Alan was real and never claimed to be anything and also warned about such "gurus". @Leo Gura has done great work and remains humble, but I've seen too many of these people out there with their seminars and cult-like settings selling bullshit which cannot be achieved. They always have these Q and A's where they answer in the same exact way: They stop, shut their eyes (as if they are channeling the universe) then answer as if that is the truth. So I think ego backlash can be exacerbated if you expect some kind of total peace from being 'actualized' or whatever other term to describe a state which can never be permanent. What is permanent, if your lucky, is remembering what you experienced as a reminder of what is true...but there is no escaping suffering nor is there any end to this process.
-
Suffering is necessary process for development. Is it fundamental to the universe in as a physical law? No. It surely is because of our reflective nature; but suffering happens even to animals and other forms of life who lack our level of sentience. We can look at suffering as a negative force, working in opposition of a positive force, both exist and are two sides of the same coin.

Political correctness is destroying all sorts of things... sad
-
Appreciate it folks. I will be making more videos; including many things that I learned from all of you as well.

After a seriously bad bout of depression and suicidal thoughts yesterday, I turned that negativity to start a new YT channel and video which I think may help anyone where going through something similar.

I already stated above that 'newbie' or first time lifter, can pull off a total body recomposiition at maintenance because they will simply partition their nutrients differently than they were before and the new stimuli will cause muscle growth, but this doesn't happen after the first time again. From his first post, it implies he has been trying for a while and it has failed. He is no newbie, so he needs more calories. Judging by his picture, he is an ectomorph who has a fast metabolism, a 'hard gainer' type that definitely needs more calories if he wants to grow any new tissue. So unless you are a newbie, like I stated, you need a caloric surplus. And no, you cannot gain new muscle in a deficit, but simply spare losing what you have. IF there is any new muscle hyperplasia in a deficit, you won't see those cells grow until they are fed and there is muscle hypertrophy
