@Mikael89 "Normal" or average humans do not/cannot read and understand scientific studies. Not just those scientific studies....just about any scientific study are too complicated for the average person with the average education. Usually, they need someone to break it down for them so they can understand. Unfortunately, many times they are at the mercy of the bias of the interpreter. This is why its important for the truth seeker to be able to read them themselves, assuming they have the intellectual capacity.

@Wlangr That is an opinion....and I disagree with that to some degree. It could be interpreted in the way you state but I dont think it is limited to that. I think one meaning is do not let your life be dictated by societies' moralization. YOU decide your action - not by checking to see if it fits others' expectations but being mindful of your intent as to WHY you do it. For an extreme example - Should one take the life of another? Usually not but there are exceptions when it may be reasonable and necessary. If an action is reasonable and necessary, guilt and regret are unnecessary and one's purity is unaffected.

The evidence is in the studies you refused to read lol. The results are statistically significant when compared to chance, to varying degrees, depending on the study. @Mikael89 Ive read much of those long, dry studies but I also have a pretty rigorous scientific background. In epistemology, your argument would be called an argument from personal incredulity. It basically says, "It seems too weird to be true based my extremely broad knowledge and experience, therefore it cannot be true".

Those are very long answers to your short questions. I would recommend the books by John Kreiter on how to deal with them. Spirit speak by ivo dominguez does a good job of explaining what they are. Sounds like you have a parasitic entity that is feeding off your life force.

@The Blind Sage I dont know but the real magick is how you can transform yourself using transmutation of the elements. You can add/subtract attributes of yourself. It gives you the power to create yourself into whatever you will yourself to be. That is REAL power.

I remember making a big deal about if someone is going to foolish to believe in siddhis, then what wouldnt they believe in? I was a skeptic....and I was deluded and found that out for myself. It was when I started researching the energetic traditions like Chi-gung, Taoism, Reiki and some sects of Yoga and Buddhism, I noticed that they used similar techniques of combining breathwork, visualization and intention. @kieranperez No, Im pretty much a recluse. I like Carlos Castaneda and think highly of shamanism. Siddhis are simply magickal powers that manifest when someone concentrates the mind through meditation and gains the knowledge to use the abilities. Siddhi is a yogic term but paranormal powers happen in all traditions that know how to use visualization, breathwork, intention and concentration. Gurus are just people that have spent time concentrating their minds. Since Siddhis attracts followers, some gurus will secretly study occult/tantric techniques and then tell their followers they have them just because they are so much holier than them. Gurus will never tell their devotees what they are really doing because that will give the devotee the same powers as them. Then, why would they need the guru?

Ive experienced telepathy but I never tried to work on it. Sometimes stuff just happens to some people. If you want proof, look up a powerful ritual to summon a demon, taunt the demon and see what happens (thats a joke of course...DO NOT do that lol)

I dont know what the limits are of magick. My abilities keep increasing at a pretty fast rate. If someone would have told me that I would be on this path several years ago, I would have told them they were completely full of shit. Im going to see how far this goes. Im thinking now that this goes farther than I can currently imagine. Even now, when I wake up the next morning after some crazy, intense experience, I think "WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED!?!?"

Thanks! I started with Kraig's book also. Its very valuable in learning the concepts but ceremonial magick, although effective, can be a bit rigid. After you go through that, get a book on chaos magick to balance it out. I love that Kabalah teaches about balancing the polarities. Many eastern tradition followers embrace love and reject strength. Kabalah says one should strike a balance.

A clairvoyant or medium would know a lot better than me. I would suggest finding someone skilled with those talents. If you arent interested in developing the skills to protect and cleanse yourself, you will need to find someone that can do it for you. Sometimes it can be from traumatic experiences. I know a guy that sees a demon sitting on his shoulder every time he does psychedelics. The demon was created and attached to him when he had been raped as a child. There are a myriad of reasons that could cause this.

@Danioover9000 That would be a long post that wouldnt do it justice. There are a lot of different methods but the book I mentioned by Ivo Dominguez explains some of that. Then it would be a matter of experimenting yourself. Usually each point of a pentagram represents earth, air, water and fire as the lower points. The upper point represents spirit, which presides over matter. Inverted stars are sometimes used by black magicians as representing that matter takes precedent over spirit.

Its been a process of dissolving the ego through meditation. After that, you must journey through acceptance and fully incorporate it. By the time true surrender comes, there is not enough of an ego left to be much of a problem. If you are going to use powers for your own ego, that is not much of a surrender. I was concerned about some of this also and asked the divine how I would know when it is ok to use the power. The response I got back was, "if you are truly my faithful servant that is surrendered, you will know". I believe it is a part of my evolution to make the decisions to use the power for the Divine Will. I will answer for it if I use it incorrectly, assuming it is even possible to have power if it is attempted to use incorrectly. If you have a direct relationship with the divine, why would you need a guru? The divine will tell you all you need to know. The stages are like this: 1. Total Acceptance (aversions and attachments) 2. Total Surrender 3. Start building a relationship with whatever you are surrendering to (that is for you to find out) through prayer, devotion and offerings. I cannot begin to explain where this will take you. To say it is amazing is ridiculously understated. The power is in the surrender. No surrender, little power. Big surrender, big power. Also, the surrendered are protected.

@mandyjw Yes, Christianity does not like feminine spiritual energy at all. Embrace it! If our evolution is eternal, your eventual destiny is of a Goddess. You are literally a goddess in the making. It is your birthright so go take it! There is oppressive energy towards women in this world. Reject it! You ask about traditions other than witchcraft, which makes me assume there is still some aversion to witchcraft- even though you probably dont know why. Give yourself permission to think for yourself and to create yourself. Dont believe the lies that are meant to limit you. Go find out for yourself.

@Socrates If you're a natural mystic, you might not be able to develop clairavoyant abilites to the extent other do that have that natural gift. With that said, I try to develop all my abilities - including the ones that dont come natural to me.
