  1. @GreenWoods There are a few breathing exercises that raise significant amounts of energy, which is then infused into the magickal working. The most commonly used method is the Taosit microcosmic orbital meditation. The guy in this video is correct that his works but his loyalty to his tradition keeps him limited. There are other superior methods imo. Another powerful meditation is the Inner Fire meditation used in Tummo meditation.
  2. @CreamCat Both Ramana Maharshi and Nisargadatta ate meat and are generally considered the most enlightened beings in India over the last 100 years. That would have some implications to reconsider your assumption that veganism is "godly" or "good". Veganism is just veganism. There is no reason to think it has any impact whatsoever on enlightenment in general. Some enlightened people are vegans and some arent.
  3. @Scholar While I used to be a materialist/atheist, now I would consider my worldview as an animist. Animism means that everything has some kind of consciousness. It seems like just about everything has some kind of spirit or spiritual energy that can affect and be affected. In that worldview, I would think the answer to your question would be yes.
  4. Research near death experiences. They seem to have some consistency. Anyone that has never experienced a NDE that contradicts those experiences just because it doesnt fit their worldview is nonsense imo.
  5. @Meditationdude It lasted about 3-5 months but I went at it hard core. Whenever you have a negative thought or emotion, tell yourself, "nothing matters.....except the present moment" and totally feel it. Let even the attachments to your own life completely go and lock yourself into the flowing present moment. Letting go of your life will feel like you are dying and there is nothing left....no hope, no future, no nothing. Dont reject those feelings. Allow those feelings to completely permeate your being and then again tell yourself "nothing matters....except the present moment". This step here is why so many people think enlightenment is difficult to achieve. Its not complicated; they simply lack the courage to completely let go of their life as they know it. Turn your attention to love and beauty in the present moment. Love is something you do and put out at this stage. Looking just to take in love and be loved is something for the unawakened. Love and beauty are connected...they come together. Lose focus on one and the other one will go too. Look for beauty in the extreme where you may have previously overlooked it. Look at trees, the sky, etc and really feel it completely. Focus on love by treating your GF and others with kindness, patience and love despite your internal condition. just focus on what you put out; not what you get or feel. I went through the second dark night about a year later and made it through that. It was difficult but wasnt as crushing as the first one. it was just a deeper level of acceptance and letting go that will not be apparent until you get there. If done correctly, you wont lose your motivation in life although priorities may change. As the Gita and Buddhism says, push forward in life with mindful "right action" but maintain detachment to the outcome of that action.
  6. @Meditationdude Yes, I went through the dark night about 3 years ago and came out the other side to equanimity. Its done with radical acceptance of all. That means the grasping of the ego to purpose, meaning, life dreams and goals and including physical survival have to be resolved. Let it ALL go and accept. What you will find is that only the present moment exists and that is where you must live. You will find, and create, love and beauty in the present moment as that is the only place they truly exist. When you can do this, you will make it to the other side. According to old Buddhist texts, this is the first stage of enlightenment. for more info, see https://alohadharma.com/the-map/the-dark-night/ The book Mastering the Core teachings of the Buddha was instrumental to me in making it through. I would highly suggest it. When you make it to the other side, you will find it is more than worth it
  7. @Scholar I dont think that it is too far fetched that people in power would use methods that can give great power. That may have been what helped them get there in the first place. The methods of getting power and the energies involved to influence the material realm are amoral but how we use those methods has lasting effects on our evolution. People that use black magick for their own egoic ends pay a price for the darkness that they internalize imo. I used to live a life without much love or empathy for others and I remember what that was like. There is only pleasure but no beauty, which just leaves one suffering from emptiness.
  8. @Scholar Yes, that has been my general impression with Satanists also. I think they are on the path to growth but they are starting at a very low rung on the ladder imo. My question to a Satanist would be, "why did you choose Satan to follow?". I agree that its probably just mainly a counter reaction towards repression by Christianity but I also see it as an intentional move towards darkness for darkness sake.
  9. @Gneh Onebar Yes, a book Im reading now is Six Ways by Aidan Wachter. I wish I would have found that book earlier. Its one I would start with along with Jason's sorcerers secret
  10. @enderx7 Actually, only a year One of the best and most exciting things Ive ever done.
  11. @Scholar yes but it would be an assumption that they are not gifted. This happens all the time but usually the target's guardians will subvert effects that are too extreme. They might be naturally gifted without having a clue. You could be one of these. One of the biggest thing I am gifted with is that I am not fearful. Im not clairvoyant though either. Ive just studied this path, experimented and applied. Also, spirits seem to generally like me but that is just because I treat them well, are not afraid of them and always keep my word (words are important). You will feel the difference in your life when spirits have your back. I also made a powerful ally with Hecate. This was only discovered after doing a ritual asking for a sign as to whether there would be a good relationship there. If you want people to do things with these types of gifts, why dont you develop them yourself? You could also find a deity that can protect and provide and build a relationship with him/her through some offerings and prayer. The side benefit is that they will watch out over you and guide you on your path. Also, the relationship is very fulfilling oddly enough. Id suggest buying Six Ways by Aiden Wachter and The Sorcerer's Secret by Jason Miller. if you study those books and try out the teachings, you will be dipping your foot in magick within a couple weeks. Reading a couple books certainly wouldnt hurt. Im open to answering as many questions that you have to help along the way.
  12. @Yog "practical" in this sense when describing kabbalah means magic. Jewish mysticism has some powerful magick and there are differing sects that disagree as to whether they should use magick. The "shouldnt" is just more dogma. If you followed all the shouldnts of the world, we would never do anything Also, there are some people that "bind" spirits to do their will but I think that is a way to make enemies. You can attract more bees with honey. I think a better approach is just build a good relationship and simply ask. If its not in my highest and best interest, I wouldnt want it anyway.
  13. @ValiantSalvatore Some of the asian traditions excel at offerings and working with deities
  14. I am open to anything. I help whenever I can. I definitely stay way out of my comfort zone lol. I understand what you are saying. I share your intention. I have told Hecate that I am eager to help and she has told me that she intends to use me to help others in the right way and right time. Im just saying that the universe has a way and time it works on its own. Its a fine line between ignoring the call and pressing ahead before called. I do not ignore the call when I am called and I seem to be called more and more often. I am being refined, just like everyone else.
  15. @scholar I act as I am directed and led, which is for the good of others. It seems to be going in a radical direction and I am following it there. Its not in my time though. There are others that are further down the path than I am
  16. @ValiantSalvatore I understand the fears. I used to be fearful and this was something I feared. Remember, evil is relative. The cat is evil to the bird. Bugs are evil to the farmer and the farmer is evil to the bugs. They are just trying to eat after all Evil for evil's sake is just grasping at something to feel better in some way. It root cause is suffering. "Evil" spirits suffer, which is what is driving their own eventual evolution towards the light (imo). ALL consciousness wants to experience love, beauty and peace ultimately. Transcend the self and fear of evil will disappear since there is no "you" that will suffer at the hands of evil. Dont be afraid of the dark. Be the light to shine into the darkness with courage. The universe rewards courage. If you are going to delve into this more, I would suggest building a relationship with a deity. Not out of obligation but for evolution and protection. If you have powerful allies, no wrathful spirits will bother you. Show kindness, gratitude and respect to spirits and many will show that back to you. A good resource is The sorcerers secrets by Jason miller. Im reading Six Ways by Aiden Wachter which I LOVE. I wish I would have found this book earlier. It talks a lot about relationships with spirits and ways to put those to use on the spiritual and mundane path.
  17. @Scholar I am working on increasing others' consciousness and have made a lot of progress. Some choose truth and some choose ignorance. I invest time with people that choose truth and have helped others quite a bit on their path. It is my path to continue to lift these people up and show them truth and how to find their own inner power/strength. One of my best friends resists change and truth because he is afraid of it. I try to help him. He makes progress but VERY slowly compared to how I approach my evolution. Its painful to watch because he puts himself through so much shit living from a position of fear and limitations. Part of acceptance and not grasping is allowing people to progress on their path in their own manner. Increasing consciousness is done through personal relationships. I can do it in my way, Leo does it his way and you can do it in your way. We all have a part to play but many times it is not the same part.
  18. @astrokeen I look at offerings to spirits like being a good neighbor. You wave, smile and say hi. If your fruit tree has extra fruit, you bring some over to them. It builds good will and friendship. Then their garden produces extra vegetables and they bring some over to you. Some people think they need to grovel out of fear. I get the feeling that they dont respect this...at least that is the feeling that I get from Hecate. Its like that with spirits. If they like and respect you, many will want to do things for you, even if not asked. Many appreciate courtesy, gratitude and kindness. The wrathful ones tend to be placated and move on to other people. You can feel that their is a world around you that is rooting you and wants you to flourish. I dont know what deities are. I have wondered if they were created thoughtforms that have gained enormous power from the psychic energy invested by millions or billions of people. I also have thought that they were already there as other beings on other planes with their own path of evolution. Maybe in a way that is impossible to explain, it is a little of both. I have no idea but I dont doubt their power.
  19. @Scholar It is all there if people want to know. I wanted to know and experienced it for myself. Ignorance is always a personal option. Truth is never forced. Dean Radin has the scientific evidence that strongly implies what is going on but the scientific method only works with cause and effect on the material plane. For this reason, people that want to deny will deny. If they deny, than that was their path.
  20. @Scholar I have a friend that randomly met a Chinese Chi-gung practitioner that was able to move physical objects without touching them. He looked under the table, checked for strings, etc....couldnt find any trickery. He STILL is skeptical about this stuff (and probably a little afraid). Ive also shown him the studies, although he doesnt have the scientific mind to decipher what they mean. I have a reputation for my words being precise when it comes to the truth and I have told him some crazy stories. What I have found is that the people that were meant to know, will know. If someone's path isnt meant to intersect with that kind of spirituality, it isnt meant to be. If people want to know what is true, they need to actively search for the truth for themselves. It cant be shoved down their throat.
  21. @astrokeen Yes, in real life Ive been able to read people like a book. Many times I have known exactly what they are thinking and what their intentions are. That has been the case my whole life but increases as I get older. I cant totally control it. Sometimes it has felt that I can read their mind and sometimes I just get a general feeling about someone. It seems like it happens the clearest when I am supposed to communicate something for the other persons highest good.
  22. @ValiantSalvatore 1. They are people that get off on being "scary". They like to tell themselves that is where all the power is but thats a lie. They do have occult powers but using magick for destruction and inflicting pain on others will come back around and bite them. The universe is evolving towards love and light, even "evil" beings - however long it takes. If people want to embrace darkness, their spirit guides and guardians will let them learn some lessons. 2. He was an ego maniac that loved to shock people. Saying there is an antichrist is like saying there is an anti-pope. Its just taking dogma from a specific religion and reversing it simply to be in opposition. 3. Its what the occult generally calls enlightenment. 4. I think they should be punished, just like anyone else that hurts people. There are tantric yogis that eat their shit, wear human bones and eat human flesh of the dead. They believe it removes boundaries and limitations. Not my thing 5. I believe that is an artificial spirit created through sex magick. I dont know much but if that is Crowley's thing, its probably dark. 6. I think scientology is a fraud. 7. There is no such thing as an anti-christ. Since demons are just spirits, yes, you can summon spirits. Some will be gentle and helpful and some are not. There are ways to get spirits to do things for you. 8. All those secret societies you hear of in ivy league schools are occult organizations. The members go on to be politicians and leaders that can then be used by the group or others in the group. Some groups are better than others. I dont belong to a group because I will not work with any other occultists unless they share my values. Im not interested in submitting to a group leader. I might help my fiance form a witch coven though but it would be according to our values. 9. There are some good freemasons and some not as good. I have never heard of them being satanists. That sounds like something Christians would say since many believe anyone that practices the occult worships Satan, eats babies and kills people in rituals, which is nonsense. By far most of occultists have no interest in satan but neither do they find him scary. Most occultists are interested in genuine spirituality, enlightenment and their evolution. 10. I tend not to be a conspiracy theorist although some conspiracies are real.
  23. @ValiantSalvatore I reply in two parts 1. A Wiccan is more into group ceremony and ritual. A shaman is usually a lone practitioner that has far less ritualistic "rules". 2. The Christian church forbade ALL magick - not just black. There are the reasons they give and then there the real reasons - control. Church rules are you have to obey the church, you have to believe what you are told to believe and you can only access God through church leaders. The church burned and tortured people that never hurt anyone and somehow convinced people that they were the good guys 4. I think some people are attracted to darkness because it makes them feel powerful as a compensation for a lack of inner power. The occult is a combination of witchcraft, Wicca with egyptian, greek, persian, sumarian, roman and Jewish mysticism. In the last 100 years or so, it has combined Chi-gung, Yoga, Buddhism and Taoism. There is a lot of folk magick sprinkled in all throughout. 5. Its hard to get an idea of what is happening by watching what the body is doing. It is what is going on on the inside. It would be like watching a healer. Something is happening but you cant tell visually. Im not a fan of Crowley or his philosophy. My highest values do not match his. 7. The word demons originally just meant spirits. It was the Christians that tried to claim that all spirits other than angels are "evil". Spirits are like people...some are "evil", some are "good" and most are in between somewhere. Angels can be summoned to devestate enemies through black magick and demons can be used to heal so its not as simple as black and white.
