  1. Day 26: Not much new. Same as before. Steadily losing weight. Need less sleep. Quite bored with eating the same shit over and over to be honest. But it's worth keep doing.
  2. Day 14: Didn't even pay much attention to it until now but my muscles aren't as stiff any longer. Before I'd wake up in the morning completely stiff in my muscles, especially my upper trapezius and lower back. Now it's gone! I really didn't expect that food was the cause of all this. I can even touch my toes without bending my knees lol. Couldn't do that before lol.
  3. Day 12: My skin has improved. I'm not feeling particularly hungry. It feels like my body is finally adapted to my diet. I am a little constipated although not as bad as I thought it would be. An interesting thing I noticed is that my cravings are pretty much non existent. When I did a no-sugar diet for 7 months I would crave sugar so bad from time to time and it never really went away. But with this carnivore diet man... it's like "meh"
  4. Day 9: Woke up feeling rather refreshed. My scalp feels amazing. No more itching and flakes. I thought the thread title could be edited at any time but I was wrong. Stuck with the "day 5 update" I guess.
  5. Day 6: Low energy, not a very productive day. Had a steak for breakfast and baconwrapped halloumi for dinner. However I did wake up in the morning not feeling very tired even after only six hours of sleep. And I've lost 2 cm around my waist and cheat. The weight loss is what's keeping my spirit up. It's troubling how I'm already disgusted with this diet. Would love to have at least some sauce on my meat. I do find myself craving carbs every now and then, although it's not as bad as I thought it was. I guess when you're really committed to something you put the work in, no,excuses. I've been eating carbs all my life, probably way too much of it. It's time to give my body a break from it!
  6. Day 5: Woke up with headache. Probably because I haven't been eating enough, but after a few hours I had lots of energy! Still losing a lot of weight. This morning was the first time the scaled dropped below 85 kg for over two years. Food today was steak and creme fraiche lol. Kinda lazy but I've been crazy busy today with a few repairs around the house.
  7. If it happens in my lifetime, that is practically unlimited clean energy, I hope it'll be available to poorer countries. This is an opportunity to take mankind forward.
  8. Climb a mountain! I'll be summiting Galdhöpiggen at the end of June. A few hours drive from Oslo.
  9. Regurgitating information isn't the best way to go about it. And that's how it looks for the most part. Only a very small percentage of people in academia truly leaves a legacy. The rest are the ones who end up with standard high-paying jobs without actually doing any good.
  10. It's weird as hell, as a foreigner, to see how often this occurs in the US. I think it's way too late banning guns by now. You'd be on the brink of civil war. Unfortunately I think you'll have to wait until a few generations of Americans are replaced by younger more sensible ones.
  11. I'm not into US politics that much, but the inflation can hardly be attributed to Biden. The fed is balancing between raising interest rates high enough to fight inflation (but will most likely cause a recession) or not raising interest rates (or atleast not that much) which will keep the economy afloat but letting inflation run wild. Expect inflation for quite some time. The fed will moat likely choose the lesser of the two evils. Not raising interest rates high enough and letting inflation run its course. Of course if it goes waaay to high than yes, they have to hike the rates, but then a recession is very likely to occur as long as quantitative easing isn't on the table.
  12. I'm sure if you're highly motivated, you will find a way to save up the money needed. If you can't earn money the conventional way, you still have access to the internet. The opportunities here are endless. When I was 16, I made $400 by a combination of writing articles, filling out surveys and a bunch of other things.
  13. Very interesting OP. The spiral dynamics view you mentioned. Makes sense how one would immediately turn red in a few short moments. Try not to get too emotional and keep tapping into the juicy tier 2 line of thinking.
  14. As a Swede, I can confirm what you're saying. Will be very interesting to see Putin's response. I doubt they will attack, but if they do, over 200 years of peace in Sweden is broken.
  15. So the inflation numbers in the US for March came in at 8,5%, which is quite high. This trend is worldwide with inflation rising pretty much all over the world, and it seems like it's going to continue to go up fpr quite some time. Inflation is devastating for our purchasing power. How do you deal with it? Personally I try to adjust my lifestyle right now. I want the most bang for my bucks. This means I'm cutting down on my vegetables (unfortunately), drive less with my car, buy food that's on sale and so on. Diesel is $10 a gallon where I live. Tomatoes is up like 100%. Potatoes at least 30%. By carefully planning what I spend my money on and adjusting my lifestyle I don't feel the effects so much of inflation right now except for my electricity bill which is up an insane amount.
  16. The rise of the Swedish democrats the last 10 years is staggering. Close to being the second biggest party here. And yep, they're pretty right.
  17. Hello, Been spending quite some time reading books about investing for the last few weeks. And a thought occured. What would conscious investing look like? More specifically stage yellow investing. I'm thinking Warren Buffet style. You know, slow and steady and deep analyzing. But I might be confusing this with stage orange. Healthy stage orange that is.
  18. @Average Investor Solid post. I take it you know a thing or two about investing?
  19. Of course you're being skeptical if you can't even see through your own bullshit. As someone once said; "the only thing standing between you and your success, is the bullshit story you tell yourself everyday." But go ahead, blame your socioeconomic status, or job, or the economy... it doesn't matter what you blame. In the end you will still end up in the same place as you started. Nowhere. Like a boat in the middle of the ocean drifting away with no destination.
  20. I know this might not be what you want to hear, but you will get over it. Work out lik hell and get a killer physique if you care that much about looks.
  21. Hey, I think one of the reasons you blew up on Youtube was because you have this ability to explain and articulate things in a very fluid manner. You don't use big flashy words, but when you speak one gets the impression that you do use big words when you actually don't. That's the best way I can describe it. Also noticed that you spoke a lot faster in your earlier videos, but slowed it down later on. A deliberate decision I presume. So my question is, were you always able to speak in this sort of extremely fluid straightforward manner or did you have to develop this? If so, can you refer me to some resources? If anyone else wants to give me some tips and ideas you are of course welcome to do so.
  22. I actually asked a cashier out once. A place I frequented a lot. She said she had a boyfriend but that it was alright to hang out. I never visited that store again.
  23. Loving, kind and open minded. And not nagging all the time. Just like my woman is like.
  24. Professor Dave is the definition of SD Stage Orange. He made quite the entertaining video though when he debunks flat earthers.
