Copyright 1967... I'm just hearing about this now! Fascinating read. Thank you for the link! -
Just happy to find you are ok.

Hope all is well with you, Leo.

I recently finished a short audiobook based on Adlerian Philosopy/psychology that very effectively addressed some of my own issues with social anxiety. It was the first time I had even heard of Alfred Adler. The book is “The Courage to be disliked” by Ichiro Kashimi & Fumitake Koga. I wonder if Leo has any insight into Adler.

My wife and I would do Atlanta, if the date worked for us.

I'm reading Jordan Peterson's, "Maps of Meaning" and just watched the first lecture of his, "Biblical Series I: Introduction to the Idea of God". Which I thought was amazing. I have also recently finished Leo's latest and very profound video on, "Similarities and Differences" and have been watching Leo's videos for 2-3 yrs now. I honestly see many more similarities than differences in what each man is saying. Perhaps they are taking things from a slightly different perspective, but the message seems to be the same to me. Leo, apparently doesn't see much similarity between Peterson and himself. In fact, is quite critical of him. I have developed quite a fondness of both and find their messages quite compatible. Where am I going wrong?

@WaveInTheOcean thanks! The perspective your presenting is very relevant to me and my circumstances. As a 50 yr old professional and father of 7 young children, I am deep in the throws of a 3 year old existential crisis. I've been deeply studying mysticism with Tolle, Thich Nhat Han, Deepak Chopra, The Vedas, Tao Te Ching, meditation & contemplating with and without enthiogens. JP Seems to have some insights that may help me find my way towards a path where I can continue pursuing my nondualistic spiritual quest, while simultaneously existing and performing within the dualistic construct for the purpose of maintaining an income and a household while raising a healthy, well adjusted family. Enthiogens can be useful, very long Meditation retreats aren't yet an option for me. So I seek the most ideal ways to exist, learn and grow in such a way that integrates both my spiritual pursuits and my obligations to raise my children within the human construct that we exist in.

@RendHeaven Thank you! That was a great response, with much to consider.

The following discussion seems to contain some very erroneous and Ill informed characterizations of JP. "Maps of meaning" clearly debunks the preconceived notions being attributed to him, He very thoroughly acknowledges the use enthiogens and covers a dizzying array of myths and meanings from traditions from all over the world and very deeply. I just don't see the strong blue tendencies that many of you do. In fact, I feel we are getting a little too idiological, using Spiral Dynamics as a tool to discredit ideas and concepts that can be quite enlightening. I hope that we can maintain the understanding that the Spiral Dynamics is a very interesting tool, but still just another construct and cannot be used to dismiss ideas and concepts of others simply based on their perceived position within the spiral How certain is it that we all here have actually read the book?

Hi Leo, i know you have a topic page set aside for Shadow Work, but it hasn’t got any contentment or video associated with it. This currently an important topic for me and seemlingly important in the stages of ego reduction. Any plans on shooting this one still? Also, since I’m writing, I’d love to see your description and analysis of the Buddhist 12 Links of Dependent Origination. Thanks for doing what you do! I love your work and I know it will eventually become sacred and revered knowledge.
