  1. Ok, then I guess that’s it. Congratulations, you have arrived??
  2. Or spin your wheels indefinitely.
  3. As long as there is a reaction to fear, pain, and sorrow the problem will remain out of reach. So learn and understand the nature and structure of fear, pain, pleasure, and sorrow.
  4. Do you seek an answer to the problem to escape fear, pain, sorrow? Or see the necessity in simply understand the problem?
  5. Have you found what the problem is?
  6. @Ether What is the problem? What causes inward conflict?
  7. There’s a tremendous difference between looking for an answer then understanding a problem... explore into the problem
  8. It’s up to you to understand. Why does one resist the necessity of understanding oneself??
  9. Why does one employ the very mechanism that causes inner conflict to resolve that conflict??
  10. If there is a means “to attain” there can be no love. And if there is no love there can be no peace.
  11. @Ether How does one come to this calmness? Have you done this? Was there a means?
  12. If there is a chooser there is no peace. Find out Not thoughts, THOUGHT/SELF
  13. When one speaks of peace, what do they mean? What does peace imply??
  14. Love is freedom and peace is a an expression of freedom.
  15. WHO THE HELL AM I? Self reflection will clear that right up. Understand that fear will interfere with the investigation. Fear will cause self deception. Explore fear and work your way into the i. Fear is always in association to something else within the conditioned conciousness.
  16. Strength is when the limitation of i is understood. And in that understanding there is no longer limitation.
  17. What are some of the ways in which one can get caught up in delusion, illusion, and self deception in the search for truth?? In seeing the various forms of self deception that may arise we may be able to prevent getting caught up in our own fabrications. I find that this is a very essential question to go into. What do you guys think?
  18. It is actually the absence of a perspective. The understanding of the movement of psychological time to see the entirety of the duality. In this total comprehension of duality one becomes free of it. One can then see this movement as it arises and rip it ot at its root. As this awareness deepens one will prevent all together the burden of experience acting as a veil to any new, dynamic, alive experiencing. In this the center will cease to manifest in that new experiencing and there will be a total sense of centerlessness. This is the essense of what was known as communion with the TAO, THE IMMEASURABLE, TO BE ONE WITH THE UNNAMEABLE.
  19. What is the root driving force of self deception. Could we say it is desire?
  20. I didn’t right that. But I don’t think Chung-Tzu would mind though..lol Use everything you can my friend. Responsiblity in expressing these important messages needs no permission. We are contributing to the stream of consciousness. Anything of such quality should never be left out. I don’t care if it’s been said or not. Obviously this needs to be shared still right? Go for it. The more wisdom the better life will be for all.
  21. Yes. Psychological security. Where there is pain, fear, comes the reaction antagonism/violence, and so on. Indeed, holding on to an image of the past which is where thought manifests. That image is carried with one to meet the present moment. This causes conflict and perpetuates social division. As well as feeds the illusion “duality/division” between the thinker and what is thought. I know you are already aware of this @Saumaya but for others reading this.... THOUGHT is the response to the dynamic now, with that which is past knowledge, experience, by recollection/memory which is static. Here is a quote that really expresses awareness in this fact. To maintain freedom from identity/thought/experience..... “It has been said that the highest wisdom lies in detachment, or, in the words of Chung-Tzu, ‘The perfect man employs his mind as a mirror; it grasps nothing; it refuses nothing; it receives, but does not keep.’ Detachment means to have neither regrets for the past nor fears for the future; to let life take its course without attempting to interfere with its movement and change, neither trying to prolong the stay of something pleasant nor to hasten the departure of things unpleasant. To do this is to move in time with life, to be in perfect accord with its changing music.
  22. ? It sounds complicated but it’s something that just clicks once you see how everything works together as a whole. But we may have to understand the parts before we can put it all together as a whole. Self knowledge is the only way.
  23. Indeed Good call The never ending movement of desire. Thought/selfs constant compulsion to seek psychological security. Thought corrupts its own movement and causes disfuction by its desire to change what it to what is wants to maintain permanence. Thought distorts its own movement. What you said is a big problem in society and the world. People can not think for themselves because they do not understand themselves. Every movement in this direction leads to contradiction. Because desire implies the subject is seperate from the object. This leads to inevitable self deception right from the beginning. Thanks for bringing light to this@Saumaya . It needs to be brought up more often. ??
