Faceless replied to perlita's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
In self learning and understanding (self inquiry/self reflection), if there is any authority whatsoever, is one able to observe without that authority altering or distorting that observation? Or does one meet that observation (through the eyes/point of view) of that authority? -

I have never heard of that person that you suggested. @perlita -

I don’t personaly learn by accumulation. To me self learning is freedom from the old/past. Freedom from all personal and collective authority. Unbound by the pattern of the conditioned consciousness. Unbound by the movement of time. Please take time and understand what’s said before your response. I am responding to meet one another. -

Why do you say that. I haven't and don’t concern myself with “enlightenment” And as I said up above I am not approaching what is with any accumulation. That is actual self learning...I think you are not understanding what’s being said. You might want to explore a little more. What I posted above is generally misunderstood. Even by the cleverest of the clever. -

So guidance isn’t what is needed. It’s self understanding and having a capacity to learn without the collective authority, and the authority of the knower/known (the me) A capacity of observation free of the the thinker/known. Freedom form or all authority is a necessity. You see that? -

That’s also what thought does... It seeks security in the very mechanism that creates insecurity. Its in this compulsion to accept authority, be it personaly and collective. Maybe one day the majority of man/woman will have a capacity to end this movement of being bound by the shackles of authority. To me this is all very interesting. -

Sure this is encouraged -

Did guidance seek you? Or are the you and ‘guidance’ one and the same movement? -

Why do we seek guidance?? -

@robdl Also think of this investigation as seeing what not to do. To see immediately the contradiction in what has already been established through the stream of thought/the past. As in tradition/culturally ‘ways’ to attain that which infinite. Lol You know? Some go decades if ever without getting out of contradiction/time. -

@robdl See in yourself (actually), if there can be a pure observation without the accumulated content/movement of the observer. From what I see from your in the ability to suspend bias and prejudice, I think you have a great chance at doing this. You seem to not move in as much of a fragmentated and mechanical way. Which is essential. -

Just keep exploring into it. You are getting this really well. I edited more onto my last post. You see it? -
Faceless replied to MarkusSweden's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@robdl do you see that so far? Example would be your observing yourself (fear) the fact, but are imposing/replacing that fact with an idea. So it’s not a pure observation. It’s a movement of thought/thinker moving in its conditioned pattern. -

It’s not an experience. The significance is the absence of experience. -

What does it imply when the thinker is watching? It implies a choosing between, excepting or denying, and so on. It implies a movement of observation that becomes influenced by the past. All the psychological accumulation that the thinker has stored up. The very obersvation itself is then a movement of duality. The fact cannot be observed because the accumulated content of the i with its accumulated psychological preferences has denied the fact and implemented the idea that was gathered from knowledge/memory It has then imposed its own bias and prejudices over the fact of what is. -

I will get back to you my friend. Going to take the boy to the beach? -
Belief is a movement of mind/time. If one is adopting a belief they are caught in contradiction and therefore duality. If this happens one must start the investigation from scratch. The inquiry has then become corrupt by the fragmented nature of thought/ the thinker. Watch out for that time, it will get you. ?

Yeah I noticed. I don’t know who anyone is man. You know me. She looks like she does her own thing though? -

? ? I think you may want to go into if this sadhana was a movement of (time)...The thinker with its movement of psychological becoming. This implies an entity who is constantly reaching and grasping to become in time. Do you see the contradiction here?? Also ask oneself, am “I” attempting to meditate according to a blueprint, to do so implies that there is an “entity/the me” who has acquired the knowledge of the past that is going to meditate. Again duality. Because the entity is the same movement of knowledge, experience, memory. Do you see it? All this implies duality. The division of The meditator/ the method that has been passed down through tradition. It’s a direct contradiction. Because no matter the case the mediator divides himself right from the getgo. If there is any movement division/duality one will perpetuate contradiction. -

Can you watch the entire movement of thought without (the watcher) Without the watcher coming in and labeling, judging, and so on. Without the watcher imposing its idea of what should be onto what is. Not ‘the watcher’ watching the movement of thought, but thought itself watching as thought arises. But again, you are not watching, as that implies the you with all its accumulated memory’s responding with those memory’s, to that very watching. To observe thought without the thinker at all. That is ‘the beginning’ of real meditation. -

Your not attending to what’s being said. Anyone who understood themselves very deeply would not get caught in such self deception. One would be able to see such movement of time in movement. Anyway I can’t convince you otherwise, not do I want to. It’s up to you and only you. Good luck my man or woman? -

I have said it before, it’s not about accumulation of nondual teachings. It’s about understanding all the subtle forms of dualistic movement in ones self and remaining scrupulously aware of that movement. This goes for any teachings. We must start with ourselves, otherwise the mechanism we use to explore becomes corrupt and moves in a disorderly manner. -
Faceless replied to Highest's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yeah, I don’t recommend any nondual teachings what so ever. I agree with this. This is what I mean by time attempting to end time. It’s contradicting, and implies the very duality that one is attempting to escape. It is a movement of duality. No wonder you got caught in that game. I agree with what you are saying. I never concerned myself with “enlightenment” To seek truth, enlightenment, god, is all a movement of delusion. Truth cannot be attained. As that to implies duality/division. Truth is much more subtle than that. And much more complete/whole. The point is to understand how illusion, self deception, delusion manifests and moves in time (the experienced/experiencer) You got caught in the movement of time, and you saw the contradiction. This is the problem with teachings. They imply duality from the start. We must start nearer to home with oursleves. How to see when illusion, self deception is in movement. If we can’t do this every step in any direction is futile.
