DIVISION, FEAR, ABSTRACTION, (PSYCHOLOGICAL BECOMING) Do we notice all the subtle disguised forms of fear that determine every single action taken in our day to day living? Do we see how fear will inevitably generate incomplete action, (divided action)? Action influenced by fear-time will ignore the fact,(what is), and seek security in the abstraction,(what should be). Do we see that as long as this pattern of fragmentation remains a mechanical-programmed impulse, we will only nourish that same movement pattern? Fear and the intellect,(self-thought), will work hand and hand to stimulate and nurture its own sustenance, which is the movement of TIME, (psychological becoming). Can we be aware that as long as this self sustaining movement of psychological becoming is in motion, that all action taken in accordance to that will reinforce that very limit? Do we have the awareness to know when movement within this finite pattern of fragmentation is in motion? -

@Feel Good if you go into thought-self and it’s nature you will see that focusing on the breath is a movement of exclusion. Applied focus on the breath inevitably prevents whole attention. No, this would fall under concentrated meditation or focused attention. An implication of volition-intention-fragmentation. But explore that on your own as well. See for yourself. -

@Feel Good Start nearer to home with seeing understanding the whole of time(thought and its movement as the i). This pursuit of reward, or “enlightenment”, is going to prevent the necessary freedom to go into all this. Be aware of that as well. -

Maybe, maybe not. ??♂️ Is that like applying conscious attention as a focal point? Is that a movement of thought to exclude everything else? Is there choosing as the chooser type of action being activated? As I see it, we can see only see the movement of thought holistically when this exclusion, choosing, dissecting or (breaking things into pieces ends). Until then we understand verbally-intellectually. It’s quite apparent and obvious to me that understanding and acting in accordance to this verbal-intellectual understanding is the equivalent to focusing on the breath. Both are movements of thought. They both are movements of exclusion, because they both are movements of thought-thinker. The thinker will divide, fragment, seperate things into pieces. To focus on the breath is just another movement of foused attention, (control) or (fragmentation) of thought. This is a subtle trick that we play with ourselves. A self deception and expression that we are still caught in duality. It is ultimately a nourisher of division in the falsity that the experiencer is distinct from that which is experiences. An incomplete action of volition-fragmentation, which implies desire,(mechanical movement of thought). Action influenced by the notion that I am seperate from that which I apply “MY” attention. Have you gone into the nature of thought yet? Also its relationship psychologically(psychological time)? This total observation will have the effect of a dog chasing its own tail until we see the whole it all. If we are seeking security in this psychological time, “do-nothing”, will be a disguised doing. So if you are still bound up by time I would go into thought very deeply first. We must start with fear first. For me one day out of the blue, I saw the futility in the pursuit of psychological time, and in that SEEING, ended that endless loop of conflict. After that understanding-seeing the whole of thought was simple. This seems to be because I didn’t have this motive to escape the fact, as in; seek shelter in the movement of thought. Once that seeking psychological security in time ended, this false division between the thinker and the thought was so apparent. I had never read anything about any of this, it just happened one day. There was a complete understanding of the consequences of escaping what is to what should be. At that moment there was psychological freedom. For me psychological time ended first, then I went into thought. For some this may not be the case. I would go into the nature of thought and how all its contents actually relate as one unitary movement. AGAIN!...Start with understanding thought-self first, which is one and the same movement of fear. Also explore how all of that relates to psychological movement as you observe inward. -

Energy is extraordinary when time ceases to feed on itself. Tremendous energy indeed. -

Great example of the mechanical movement of fragmentation. Psychological Conflict must end first. Until then there will be no actual meditation at all. -

All the movement of time. -

Indeed?? Observation without (positive & negative movement of the self) ‘TIME’. -

Can there be a choiceless attention to this movement of time,(psychological becoming), in daily living. -
Faceless replied to non_nothing's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yes. All explaining one movement. -

Great question...I would say 20 years if ever. The more we perpetuate this movement of seeking(time), the more we depend on, and remain attached to its (illusions-self deception), that manifest by that very movement of cultivating the self(psychological becoming). The more we feed the illusion, the more we seek security in it. -

As long as there is a progressive movement of measure,(thought-self) being sustained and cultivated, that will be the very limitation in ending this limit that measure has established and seeks to escape. Only measure moves within the limitation of time. Measure can never exceed its own limit by utilizing the very limitation that feeds the very movement of measure. An example of the Self feeding loop⭕️ in action, which is always fragmented and incomplete. An example of measure put very simply; a psychological A to B type of pursuit....to move from this to that, here to there, I have have been this, i must be that, (psychological becoming or time). These are all psychological movements of the self, or (divisive action), seeking psychological security in its own movement. Contradiction nourishing confusion-conflict-fear, and further seeking psychological security because of that. Can there be a whole insight into this movement of measure?? And can we see all the subtle forms of psychological measure in action in our daily lives? -

Quite so. You have really caught on to this my friend?? To talk about that which is immeasurable from the standpoint of measure is futile indeed. -

At the moment I am taking some time away from the forum, but when or if I do decide to continue, yes, it would be great to go into it with you. I am also 100% sure that @robdl understands this as well. Might want to contact him if you don’t want to wait. Wish you the best ?? -

@WelcometoReality ok, but it may be wise to go into it a little more just to be sure. Maybe inventigate how concentration-focus, implies control which is a movement of fragmentation. Any movement of fragmentation will nourish division and sustain the mechanical movement of thought-thinker. This is a self feeding loop that gives itself continuity by thought seeking security in its own movement. We both could be wrong, so it’s always a good idea to see the significance in suspending our already accumulated assumptions. Good luck my friend?? -
Faceless replied to MarkusSweden's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Sure, it would be understandable, as it is a common inner ongoing of (thought-thinker) and (experience-experiencer). -
Faceless replied to MarkusSweden's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I understand why you say this my friend. ?? Can we see that to shift focus on one part is a movement of mind. That’s what “mind” or (thought-thinker) does; it separates, fragments, cuts “things” to pieces, just as the self separates “itself” from mind, (thought). It excludes certain parts to concentrate on a particaul part. Or that any movement of exclusion, choosing, implies (reaction-action), influenced by this dualistic notion that there is a concentrator, focus’er, thinker? Can we see that focus, concentration, direction, remains and sustains mind-the thinker? I’m simply saying that focusing on one part(exclusion), is actually a subtle movement of mental activity(thought). We may not notice this though. It’s not easily noticed as we, “the i”, feels distinctively seperate from mental activity-thought. Look and you will see my friend ?? -

@David Turcot You’re right though, beauty is a simple thing. To simple for the overly obsessive, and uncertain mind -
Faceless replied to David Turcot's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Beauty lies in the eye that is unburdened by the mechanical pattern to compulsively measure. To perceive without the perceiver, as the perceiver and measure are one and the same movement of anticipation-time. In this conditioned movement there is registration of experience, which later recollects, and thought perpetually seeks to re-experience that original experience. Classic example of the birth of desire, (the self), seeking psychological security in thought,(pleasure). BEAUTY IS UNBOUND BY “the i” (the past-future) . -

When you listen to other people, instead of worrying about what they say, use that interaction to observe the responses you have in that interaction. (Attantion to innatention). If you find yourself reacting to what they say “you” (fear), are trying to evade yourself,(fear). That means you were not being attentive of innatention. Dont try to be attentive, just be aware that you are not, and stay with the fact. That is fairly simple, you will see. -

Take a break from the forum if you need. Real holistic understanding-awareness comes in daily life-relationship. -

Spiral dynamics has nothing to do with anything friend. Red, blue, brown, pink, burgundy, who gives a rats ass.? You don’t need any of it. It’s a big self perpetuation of (measure), abstraction, and comparison. I would totally ignore that if i were you. It’s nothing but waste, if you ask me of course. The way I see it cultivation-progression, (the step by step gradual advancement) is a positive manifestation of self-thought. Only suffering comes with that. And don’t worry about other people man. Do what you do?? -

Maybe our friend @robdl will also contribute some other connections to this. Help form a more unified whole (understanding), for us to all observe. -
