Science is useful as a function in technological, medical, and other fields that can bring a certain quality to our daily lives but if one derives significance or meaning in it well then that is a limited narrow disposition to have when it comes to meaning of man and his place in the universe. Or just the universe in itself... And this can be very destructive. Take the man created by god disposition or the filly automatic disposition and so on. These types of preconceptions, presuppositions, or assumptions bring with them a certain type of behavior and relationship with ourselves, one another, and our relationship with the environment. They are limited/fragmented attempts by thought to capture the whole. Science is useful but is to me rather superficial and should not be looked to for psychological/spiritual significance, meaning or value.

Meditation as it is generally practiced is mechanical. It’s concentration directed in a particular direction. A movement of thought. The opposite of what I thought was intended in liberation. Anything mechanical has its consequences such as addiction as pleasure, gratification, and so on. It becomes an escape and that escape is sustained by thought as pleasure. If we are mechanicaly drawn to this state we get caught in a movement of chasing that last experience. Real meditation is to have a religious mind. All day every day. To be attentive of innatention, not to spend an hour or two in concentration. Concentration implies control attention implies objective awareness The center in “becoming” is the cause to these side effects Just to watch thought which is to watch yourself ?? -
Lol ..To truly be authentic is to see that your truly not if you know what I mean

Its all about the ground. Everything stems from that and falls back onto it. This state of mind is significant and where I like to reside Excuse the limitation of words I chose to express that lol

Science works in within the field of thought/knowledge/time Thought is conditioned and influenced by its evolution through past conclusions within the field of knowledge. Thought is limited and specialized. The whole of the universe and all its implications can’t be grasped by a constituent such as science. I know quantum theory and consciousness have things in common. Like obsever effect on the observed.. but I learn this through self inquiry mostly I dont know a lot about science but I know thought lol I am thought

Yes this is obvious to an inquirer....the thinker is the thought.. and it’s one thing to think as an idea that you are absolute “ground” “god” or what ever, and to feel it with all your being. If this is realized through knowledge, is it realized as an idea or fact? And do we see the significance and therefore live differently? Thats the question friends. Do You see this because of a concept you picked up? Or have you seen this without such outside agencies. Deception is imminent without a religious mind.

To drop all preconceptions about what we have created by the mind, then that mind is the ground. This is the nature of the ground, or “absolute” Its so simple. A religious mind is the nature of the ground. Religious mind being constant diligent inquiry which is real meditation, insight, total perception, the mind can free itself from all movments and actions that manifest through thought and fall out of the ground. This is clarity, stillness, and the beauty of a quiet mind.

To die psychologically to the me...”you” began when you became self aware. Perhaps around the age of 18 months. When memory and the response to that memory had taken place. This psychological me is the root of division. If this is seen that there is no beginning or end and that this is a product of the divided nature of the center than death looses its meaning. Therefore fear of death ceases. This is liberation. This is insight. -

People spend there whole life thinking they are “enlightened” then realize it was all within the movment and structure of thought -

Sounds like he like many others is trapped in the deceptive nature of thought. -

The ego,”center “ is narcissistic by its nature. It is a fragment of the you. -

It’s all an act my friend. -
I’m not agreeing or disagreeing with you my friend, but where do you get this conclusion that your are the absolute?
-
Sounds like you mean deduction through inquiry into thought? Is this so?

Anything that thought operates on, or fabricates, or reflects about, is reality -
@Hsinav how did you personaly come to see this? What actions took place for this to happen? Was this just an accident?

Only a religious mind -
How does one capture the absolute? What’s your take?

Life “as it is of its self”and the center “the me” implies conflict. Who are you? What are you? What is the continuity of the you?
