@Ben Landrail These are good questions friend maybe we should go about them one at a time. Is not language and image forming thought? Or is there a thought that is non linguistic and image forming? If memory, knowledge, and experience had totally ceased would there even be a center in which could think? If the memory, knowledge, experience was able to resume after that wiping out and clearing then that would imply that this center would start to form afresh. But if there was an inability to contain, hold those memories wouldn’t there remain a state of “no me” ? which question should we inquire into first? Which ever one you have asked we can start with first if I like. -

When I use the word insight I’m referring to that which is immeasurable, beyond measure, not fragmented, whole, or truth. So yeah total, entire, complete. -

@SOUL I understand but if those memories were totally wiped away could one think. Little memory little ability or capacity to think. -

@Nahm That’s right. Can the the limitless “that which is beyond thought” be captured through a limited movement such as thought. I see your question and it’s very important -

@Mighty Mouse question still remains. Where does thought come from? I stated I What I think. Now your guys turn -

@SOUL lol doesn’t that further prove that without memory there is no thought therefore a non ability to function and respond to ones environment and so on? -

@Mighty Mouse how is this not objective investigation? Seems as though you are the one neck deep in deception my friend. i simply want to investigate how thought can be if there was no memory. You seem to know. Lay it on me jive turkey ? -

@Nahm that’s is where insight comes in. Insight is not of thought. Thought is limited, conditioned, partial, and always fragmented. Where as insight which is whole, limitless, unconditioned, is not. -

Faceless replied to playdoh's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Mighty Mouse no argument no material process no thought. Without the brain “organ” thought is not -
Faceless replied to playdoh's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Mighty Mouse ok take that organ out of your head and see how well “u” think lol?? Lets be practical here folks. -
Faceless replied to playdoh's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Mighty Mouse thats what’s implied, it’s not actually non physical. Thought is a result of the brain cells. Without the “physical” organ there there is no system to operate. Therefore no thought. Thought is a result of that physical process. Right? No material process no u -
Faceless replied to playdoh's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
If there’s no brain there’s no memory, knowledge, experience. Therefore there is no thought. So if thought is not a result of a material process of the oragan in our heads then where do you guys say thought does come from? -
