By the way I use the iPhone as a computer. I’ve never been the computer type. I generally use it for music, to acquire functional knowledge and so on

Addiction arises because of the self seeking security in a particular object. Then that pattern becomes mechanical and pleasure is born. A constant desire to re-experience the sensation derived from that object becomes a pleasure. In most if not all cases it’s never the object that causes addiction, it’s the self or thought seeking security in relation to the object. So maybe some people are on here trying to validate the image they have projected about themselves lol Either way one can still learn from those types of people. Just by simply observing another’s behavior is a type of learning??♂️

Nice cat ? -
Creativity can not be learned or taught. It is not a an object of knowledge, memory, experience, which is thought. I mean doesn’t creation implie somthing totally new that wasn’t a continuation of somthing else. Generally people like to confuse invention for creativity. Seems like in order to create somthing you would have to be in a new state of mind in whatever craft you werre interested in. A mind not bound by thought. Because thought is always old and never new. what do u think about this?

Any attempt to defeat the ego is a movement by the ego itself. And will only intensify conflict.

@Omario Because you have set an image about how u think u should be and you don’t feel that image has been met or actualized. So you assume you are not good enough because u fall short of the projected image. No image no Projected assumptions or beliefs. And no image no psychological conflict. If that makes sense?

@Joseph Maynor yeah we would have to be clear on meanings if we were trying to meet one another in communion? -

@Shakazulu call the police. Who cares! ? making beats is fun how is realty wholistic? Reality is cheese put through a cheese grader. Truth “that which is whole” is the cheese ? . Once graded that truth becomes fragmented “realty”... the cheese grader is thought ? -

There’s perception, sensation, then comes thought. The “i thought” through association with that sensation creates an image in relation to that sensation. Then arises abstractions and so on... Doesn’t this word exsistential imply things as in “thinks”? Therefore reality? -
Faceless replied to LRyan's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@SerotoninluvNot seeing that the i is a fragment of thought is kinda like not being awake to the fact or that which is truth. Realty if not seen in its actual nature is like a dream world. Dream world of thought. I Just try to keep everything simple and not fill “my” conciousness with anything of little or no Benefit. Simplicity is essential. ? -

Do we know what it takes to be in a healthy relationship. Do we hold a self imposed image being a conception, impression, or idea of ourselves and others? Can there be a relationship with yourself and another when there is this image set in place? Does this image u have about the other serve as a means of self gratification, personal pleasure, or self validation? Is this image projection set to bring a sense of security to the self? . If so is that a relationship, or a relationship with the image you project? Some practical questions that might help. Hope this stands out as significant for you?

Try and determine if this experience is thought induced. That way you don’t get caught in thought attribution and always in a constant state of perpetual conflict. Chasing that original experience will become a nightmare. Or just live in a state of conflict if that’s what u want.?♂️ -

Dreams are a continuation of ones state of mind in there daily life. If there is psychological order in ones life dreams are a reflection of that therefore generally quiet, peascful, or from what I experience generally non existent. Yet if there is psychological disorder in ones life dreams are at times chaotic, sorrowful, stressful, frustrating, scary, and so on. Also if one is in a constant state of seeking various desires, gratification, pleasures, and so on this will lead to dreams that reflect those ambitions and so on. This is quite obvious to me. -

If the thinker sees itself as seperate form the thought there will always be conflict between the thoughts and the “thinker” -
Faceless replied to playdoh's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Even if there is an ignoring, a desire to not attach to the thought this is still a movement by the center which is “thought” to change what is actually happening “the thought” to what the self desires should be. Its escaping what is to what should be. It’s an attempt to change a fact to an idea -
Your worried about the image you have of yourself and what u “think” others are having about you. Although you think thoseninages are correct they are not. if your really serious about either ending it or you are serious about finding out what the problem is I would consider learning the very mechanism that gives continuity to psychological suffering which is thought. One day I had an insight that thought may be the reason for conflict once before. So I investigated. I’ll give I a key to look up called psyological time or psychological thought.

@Ben Landrail Yeah great question... without sensation would there be anything In which thought could associate or identify with? -
