If one is bound, slave, by the accumulation of thought which is memory, knowledge, experience, “the self” and one meets the present in accordance to that content of the me, is there a meeting the present moment fully at all, or is the content of there past meeting that moment? Therefore theres a feeling that this present moment has not been met somehow. Do you see that there is no present moment if this self is imposed or stained in place of what would be a present moment. It then becomes just an extension of the past, slightly modified, and projected to the future. And this continues over and over. This is why the present moment is so elusive. See for yourself friends Watch??♂️ -

What’s a Christ??? -
@Outer What makes you say that? Without some video or scientific statistic as an explanation. How do you come to that conclusion through thought? Did you come up with that conclusion through thinking looking at your own experiences?

@NathanThere is no path friend. A path implies an ego who walks it. The more you attatch to a path the stronger the self becomes. Also if if you say you fell off that path maybe try something different. Plus if there was no path to fall off of there would be no conflict ??♂️ -
@Staples I think maybe he was referring to correct information. As far as knowledge and so on. There’s correct and incorrect information. All information within the structure of thought is relative. But I couldn’t be sure that’s what he meant.

@Source_Mystic Yes it is apparent that we are part of the conditioned whole of reality. A process of experience through the limited capacity of thought which is part of the whole of reality. And I think you are right about knowledge getting in the way of the immeasurable. Knowledge, experience, and memory “thought” within the psychological realm is the very mechanism that prevents this timelessness and creates this separation and division with the whole of reality. But never the less thought has its place for communication and other practical and functional matters. Other wise we couldn’t ever meet one another as we are now. Also yes to measure ones self and others in accordance to the attainment of “enlightenment” is one of the very movements of thought that prevents this ever so necessary freedom from the self. And this flow you speak of seems like an explanation of the dynamic, active, timelessness of perception. An action of beauty?? I greatly appreciate your participation into this topic of what is reality. I feel it’s important that we always try and come to a general consensus and are very clear with what we are communicating to one another. The ability to commune with one another is essential. Thanks again friend? -
@sarapr That’s right friend. How can Thought being conditioned “fragmented” capture truth “the whole” not conditioned. If this is realized the application of science does tend to run true in the sense as not bias and so on. This seeing the limits of thought brings about a much more orderly way of thinking. Investigate limitations of thought, nature and process of thought. Also truth, reality, actuality. Priceless!!!! These are great ways to becomes aware of thought and it’s limits . ?

If the psychological entity “continuity of the me in becoming” is in movement there is no present moment. Only a continuation of the past slightly modified as the present and projected into the future which implies that the present “moment of direct perception” is never actually met at all. This entire movement of volition according to ones past is stained in place of the present and projects itself into the future. As long as the self “thought” which is a movement of time “becoming” is in movement there is no present moment. Only a constant movement of thought which in its very attempt to becomes secure creates its own illusion, deception, delusion. And furthermore establishes its own self induced insecurity. If we are not constantly attentive to our innatention of thought and it’s tendencie to attribute to itself an independent existence then thought distorts reality. This is where and why self deceptions, illusions, and hallucinations manifest. -

@Shin ?? -
I agree Science is important but how can that which is limited by thought grasp the whole of truth?? Truth is independent of thought. Truth is whole but once thought enters in that truth becomes fragmented and cut into pieces. Partial. Limited by the very nature of thought itself. Have you gone into this? It’s quite important?

That’s a belief based off a predisposition. No free will has nothing to do with responsibility. WE are responsible for our action and non action because either way those actions and non actions effect us, others, the world. Responsiblity is its own action and not dependent on any concept, idea, theory, or any other form of abstraction. Freedom from these abstractions becomes its own action of responsibility. IM SURE U GUYS SEE THIS?

Present moment is when you are not. When the accumulation of content of ones mind/past is emptied and when all projections of volition in pursuit of a future experience cease. An art of living? -

You can see that there was still an identification with thought in his being. There was still action and reaction according to the accumulation of images that he had rounded up throughout his life of experiences. I question the depth to this freedom. I only assume he was implying freedom from the self. But it seems to be ever so clear that there was a predisposition that produced this action and point of view. Pain, suffering. Fear, and sorrow were ever so apperent in his being. And when these are Love is not. -

As long as everyone knows “truth” is independent of thought then we see that thought has its right place. To see the limits of thought makes for a true line of thought to investigate, inquire, and do various types of research. To see that all thought is based on conditions and truth is not is key...With a capacity to think orderly prevents deception, illusion, delusion. To see that thought is selective is a necessity. A scientific mind is absolutely necessary. And an understanding of the psychological entity “the me” which is thought paired with rational, logical, reasonable, thought makes for one who has a capacity to be objective in any observbation, investigation, and inquiry.

Isn’t thought what is used in research, investigation, inquiry, and so on. So to know the limits of thought is a necessity. If thought doesn’t run true then ??♂️

Don’t trust thought. Just get used to being aware of its movment. It’s very subtle so there are times when you don’t know thought is moving. Thats all you do. No control or suppression. Wanting to change what is actual to what should be is escaping the fact to an idea. Just think of it as a scientist observing nature. Not getting involved in anything. Being very quiet, just listening and watching. Thats it friend -
