  1. Practices, routines, systems, techniques, and there structure prevent total conscious awareness. Conscious awarness or attention to the whole can not be a action of concentration “selection, exclusion”. It’s the action of total attention in which there is no observer but only observation... Also these mechanical routines strengthen the self, ego, or the entity you call the you. Any movement of the self prevents the action of love. Love can not be cultivated. Love is only when the center and its desire to become ceases.
  2. Look into fragmentation of thought and the self. Don’t depend on anyone here to explain. It’s better that way anyhow ??
  3. @Joseph Maynor hello joseph?? I have viewed various posts on this site and the only posts that seem to indicate any essence of wisdom are those of @Shanmugam. This does not mean that he has nothing else to learn. Life is a constant and prepetual movement of learning. Learning never ends. I don’t think he is trying to attack you. He clearly stated that he has gone through this guru stage before. If your going to take in anything shared on this forum as significant he would be one to Listen/attend to. Does not mean acceptance. Just listen without any compulsion to accept or deny. Just here out what is being said. Freedom from the self is to beautiful to pass up. The self by it’s very nature clings to resistance. See this clinging, watch it. I hope you undertand my intention of this post friend??
  4. Innocence and authenticity.. these qualities in a human being indicate a freedom from the self, liberation, and emptiness. Only an empty mind is free from from its conditioning. I hope people who read @Shanmugam are attending to what’s said.
  5. Indeed it does, Indeed it does. And It’s so obvious.
  6. To understand thought/the self. To put thought in its right place.
  7. Well if you accept that there are two selves no wonder there’s this neurosis. Even the total acceptance that there is actually one entity “the self” leads to unbalanced contradiction. If you think that there is two selves and are constantly acting on behalf of “them” you will feed both of those “selfs”. And to feed one is to starve the other. If one has a victory the other a defeat. I would question the whole “idea” that there is two selves. Then if/when you saw that that was incorrect I would question the validity even one self. If you want to Learn about this, look into the self/thought. All you answers are there. Its most important. And it’s very interesting.
  8. Sorry to point this out buddy If one needs to take a drug to die then it’s not death at all. It’s still the self clinging to itself and desire through pleasure. Experience is a bundle of memory’s responding to a challenge. Experience can only respond according to its background, past, what it has already know. Any experience through psychodelics is still a projection in accordance to whatever conditioning one has and what ever pleasures it seeks to maintain. If you don’t recognize an experience it’s not experience at all. Every experience has already been experienced or you wouldn’t recognize it. Any recognition of an experience must inevitably be old. If we recognized an experience that means it must be old. You can not “RECOGNIZE” a new experience it is impossible. To seek the unlimited through drugs is still a movement within consciousness therefore a limited movement of thought. Do u see that every movement of will/self, to become psychologically invulnerable, leads to illusion and deception and is only thought seeking security?
  9. What do u mean two selves ?
  10. Anyway lol what is the self? Good topic
  11. I know you suffer. One who suffers can not be honest with oneself. Your actions are obvious. All an act my friend??‍♂️
  12. You guys are always attacking each other. His version just less subtle Lolol
  13. If there is this reaction of pain, hurt, and the compulsion to escape that can there be Love/compassion??? These are manifestations of the self. This pain, hurt, suffering, and compulsions to change those facts of “what is actually happening” to what “the you” wants instead, “to bring about psychological security” is the very reason for this conflict. Learn about the self/thought. That would be a start.
  14. Remember, conforming to an idea is escaping a fact.
  15. I would totally forget about all ideas, concepts, and theory’s and the experiences promised by such knowledge. If you really want to be free from the conditioned responses of the self/thought. If you really want to be attentive of your self which is awareness then you need to attend to every feeling/thought you have. Only when there is a capacity to observe thought without intention, desire, and other drives to accomplish and attain is there attention. Attention implies that there is no center with its movement of psychological time “becoming” to interfear with the facts of what is. If this is what your interested in of course.
  16. If you never read about this maya experience or any knowledge similar to it would you experience it as all?
  17. Any experience is a movement of thought. Therefore not whole. All experience is a projection of thought.
  18. Who is the entity that’s going to dissolve anything? Is there an entity seperate from thought? Or is the self a thought discised as an entity?
  19. Hitler had a mystical experience and was enlightened. ??‍♂️ Yeah there was an apparent action of love/compassion Hitler was caught in illusion and self deception like many others. An obvious being with a lack of understanding of himself/thought. A slave to his conditioning. A man with perhaps high intellect but a lack in understanding the intellects limits and boundaries. A being in search for psychological security therefore only strengthening inward insecurity and projecting that inner turmoil ‘insecurity’ outward into the world. Well does this sound like a being that was intelligent and expressed that intelligence through wisdom?
  20. @NahmI’m sitting outside listening to birds...it’s wonderful
