Yes an ability to pay attention to another without bias and prejudice is very important, and yes I agree it is also very important to understand the significance of sharing a message with each other. We are responsible for one another. ‘Psychological time’ the movement from A to B is absolutely the wrong approach in embodiment of action that is timeless. I hope people consider this message. It’s essential. -

Freedom from a master is essential. It shows the ones actual state of being. @Shanmugam and I differ on the point of view of the necessity of a teacher/guru psychologically or spiritually but seeking higher states is obviously a sign of being influenced by demand/will/desire ‘the stream of thought ‘ and movement of the ego. But as far as the message @Shanmugam is attempting to get across I think it should be not blindly accepted but perhaps considered. To say that there are ‘higher states’ and ‘deeper states’ is an implication that psychological time is being applied to this movement to achieve. This only leads to illusion and deception. Psychological order can not be maintained through the movement of psychological time ‘becoming’ No matter what differences of opinions we have with one another we shouldn’t let the known ‘the accumulation of our past being our bias and prejudices’ divide the forum. That is the real significance of self learning. To express outwardly and embody what is gained through perception inwardly to bring about harmony with ourselves and the whole of society. There is no division between us actually. If we are only interested in our own validation and self affirmation then that action implies that we feel alienated and separate from one another. Which with all the we are ‘god’ talk makes for extreme hypocrisy. I’m sure we can agree on that right? ??♂️ -

I sleep on the floor. I elevate my sacrum when lying on my back. I do a lot myofacial release techniques and stretches on my lower back, glutes, quads, hamstrings and other places that feel tight. I try and maintain the majority of parts of the body since everything is interconnected and one thing effects anohter. I don’t sit on chairs/couches often. I do a lot of stretches specific for my condition that I have figured out over time. And I am fairly conscious of how I move. That type of stuff. Basic lifestyle change. ?

Maybe? But an empty mind doesn’t seek experience -

I notice a lot of people like to depend on others for guidance and to me this sets one up for a doing things the hard way and can delay the action of perception from becoming an actuality. But if people are going to seek an authority anyway might as well be one who is attempting help another provoke thought about themselves and the nature of thought/reality. ??♂️ Although it’s also important to state that the dependence on anohter is not absolutely necessary. In fact it can actually be an advantage going it totaly alone. -

Absolute Truth is only in the absence of thought. This is the reality that @Joseph Maynor is speaking of. As one who is not free of thought everything that thought thinks about is there reality or reality. Root meaning of reality meaning ‘res or things. This may not be the actual original meaning of course. Anyway reality implying anything that the mind takes in and reflects about. If reality ‘thought’ were to cease this implies truth which is independent of thought ‘the thinker’ Problem as Joseph says is that we see our reality as independent from our thoughts. -

Just remember, explore yourself. Not according to another. Don’t get caught in books with there ideas, philosophys, concepts, and theory’s. Learning about yourself is where wisdom comes from. That’s where embodiment is actualized. You need nothing other than the energy to freely investigate yourself. -

Yeah lol But that’s just an indication that one is not conscious actually. Which has relevance to what @shanmugan is suggesting about ‘higher levels’ and thinking one has arrived but is still seeking. The ‘arival’ becomes a projection of thought. Thought doesn't see its own movement in action so it then becomes this self righteous behavior. An indication that measure still determines ones outlook. -

? The mommnet you ask how you are refusing to just let go. Your very asking of how is what prevents this from becoming an actuality. You might see this soon -

But we must realize the desire to ‘improve’ ‘ourselves’ as far as liberation from self is the reason it will not happen. Actully knowone can help you with this. There might be one who can point but the majority is up to you? -

This is actually a great thing to bring to light. -

The moment you bring up the question am I happy, is the very same moment you are presented with its opposite of am I not happy. To seek happiness creates its opposite of unhappiness. If we are seeking happiness or we want to maintain an experience of happiness there will inevitably be conflict ‘suffering’ because the moment we create that desire for permanence of haplinesss we also creating the problem of getting caught in the mechanical movement of pleasure. ‘To recreate that experience’ the compulsion to recreate any experience again and again or to extend it to a ‘higher level’ is always moving and striving and sets the projected finish line further and further away. One seeks and seeks without ending. When we ask for pleasure we are also asking for suffering. They are the same. One can not exsist without the other. The way I see it is Don’t ask for happiness and then you won’t get all the other implications that are accompanied with it. Besides true joy is not somthing that can be invited. Once it’s invited it becomes a crutch. For me Happy or Not is besides the point. There may be times of happiness and there may be times of not so happy. The mommnet you demand is the momment you become slave to the mechanical nature of thought. -

Yeah....An inability to think. No thought. No identification. No recollection. In that case no experiencing. Absolute Truth. Non dual communion. Harmony. But that’s an idea. In this case there would be no need for practices, systems, techniques, drugs to reach that great experience. The very movements volition in these directions indicates that one has not actually been in this realm. The closest thing to this wholeness is not seeking any experience what so ever. The very seeking makes for thought projected experiences and prepetual illusion and deception. -

@abrakamowse Intelligence is abundant and inherent in the organism/environment. We ‘thought’ has just got to get out of its way??♂️ -

@abrakamowse You were already aware of this my friend. Sign of intelligence?? -

All present experiences are the result of thought. You can only experience something that you recongnoze. As far fetched as a may seem to be there is no new experience. All experience is determined on what is known ‘accumulation of memory/knowledge of ones past’ This is very complex and can be confusing. Check into this. I doubt I will convince you of this. This must be explored solo. Check it out? -

@abrakamowse This is what makes things complicated ‘Doing nothing’ still implies a motive. It’s a resistance to our very nature. We are action. We cannot do nothing. And It also depends on demeanor or the reason that one chooses to do nothing. If there is a movement of negation due to laziness or resistance to act because ‘negative or positive’ beliefs/assumptions about oneself then yes this is not correct grounds for negation. The action of negation comes with the perception that somthing is so obviously utterly false. And in that seeing/understanding the whole of something becomes it’s own action of intelligence that indicates that that is not the way to go about things. So when we see something as totally undeniably false that action acts on its own. Because if we see somthing as false and perhaps dangerous, we don’t think then act, we just act. This is an action born of intelligence. Intelligent response ‘action that is whole’ comes with the understanding the limits of thought, which is where the self/ego is born. The best advice I can give is to drop the whole motive to become enlightened. And the fact is that you could be chasing somthing that doesn’t even exsist. And this movement to ‘become free’ is in fact the very movment away from facing what is and the reason people never become free. Volition to become leads to and perpetuates psychological conflict. The attempt to escape what is actually happening to what you want to happen is contradicting and only causes confusion and further conflict. And If this conflict proceeds the stronger the ego becomes. -

It’s actully the opposite. The wisest of beings will agree and can see the falsness of this statement. Time leads to more time. Action according to the movement of thought will never lead to the timeless. This type of action is incomplete. Only complete action which is action without motive, effort, volition is a timeless movement. This accumulation of knowledge and progression leads one in the opposite direction when it comes to embodiment. The wisest soon or a later seem to see/understand that all the knowledge/practices obtained must be negated in order to exit the realm of measure. This action of perception is uninvited. I had not accumulated any form of knowledge at all when this happened. It was instant. Although I did spend a lot of time in a forest setting alone. Paying attention to the happening of my internal movements and the external environment. But there was no goal other than to watch, listen, observe. Only in my own personal interest and perhaps to communicate has there been a reason for the faculty of thought to operate. -
I have disc buldges and a disk herniation. It sucks. Especially having an interest in physical movement. I never got an operation. I do various things to keep it under control. @Charlotte goodluck friend?

? ?? If there is an experiencer ‘the accumulation of memory, knowledge, and past experiences which is thought then experience is not independent of thought. Do you see this? Do you see that experience in never new and is always the result of what is recognized and already known?
