So many variables to that. Depends on energy expenditure, diet, hydration, body chemistry ‘genes’..Thoughts ‘stress levels’ sleep efficiency, types of exercise, stretching, and whether or not actives like simple tai chi exercises are participated in. I’m sure this list could go on and on.

Yeah I’m new to his sharings? His insights share similarities with what i have recognized/learned about mind and isness. -
@abrakamowse Yeah lol Well dome man?? Attention alone is curative. Attention to innatention becomes its own action out of identification. As this action of attention is scrupulously applied innatention can be prevented from the movement of identification all together. Attention without imposing change implies no will, effort, volition. As these only strengthen identification. Attention is key

All those kinds of activities are great ?

I recommend the squatting to people I work with in mobility training. They seem to really take a liking to it. Just to do this a few minutes thoughout the day has its benefits?
-
Actually a very valuable piece of information ?

The posture also provides numerous benefits if used while pooping. The squat essentially removes a kink in the colon that's present when using a conventional toilet. ... Sitting in a flat-footeddeep squat stretches the lower back, decompresses the spine, releases the hips, and more. This is a more healty way to sit in comparison to sitting in chairs, couches, and so on. This may be to difficult and cause pain if there are already existing injuries or people have already become accustomed to sitting any other way other than the squat. Starting younger makes this easily adaptable. But if there are no prior injury's progressing down to a squat is very beneficial. I have been squatting instead of using chairs for years now. But the squat has always been easy for me. Growing up being interested ninjas has its advantages Lolol

@How to be wise its important that this is captured by inquiry but more in the extent that you can be free from a measurable state. A quieting of thought is a start. Thats the most important way to see.? -

Well I would not impose any image onto you as that is not a good way to learn. When he says state, condition, and quality those for me express notions of measure. And awarness is not bound by measure. Awareness is infinite and immeasurable. The rest I leave to you to inquire into. This is the way I learn ‘ as in personaly recognize experiencialy’ what is said by others. Find out if what they say is true. Don’t accept investigate. Inquire into to it deeply both in what words are used, there meanings, and paying attention. Having a capacity to view/experience by inquiring into that in relationship to my own experience. I hope I helped a little. But not to much? ?? Besides your it? -

Observing a toddler/child can really teach you a lot if you pay attention? I have learned a lot about the nature of the human condition. I have observed my sons natural movement of headlessness as a baby to toddler and watched the evololution to the early ego stage. If you know what to look for you can see ego inforce itself and grow. I can better understand what he is going through and provide support by being able to anticipate what may come next. This makes for a smoother ride for them in the process of that ever so conflicting process of identification. I learn from him and learns from me. A win win relationship. And there’s always room to not learn a single thing. And together we learn the art of forgetting? -

I understand that totally. Although I never went to a retreat. I did spend a lot of time alone in the woods investigating the root. Then realized the root was thought/psychological time. So in a way suffering psychologically did help. It’s when that psychological time ended that time ceased. After that inquiry became more efficient because there wasn’t any attachment to any particular outcome. Yeah I agree about not distracting yourself with common day entertainment and such. And as bad as my child hood was ‘suffering’ I am in some way thankful for it. If you know what I mean. Thanks for the reply? -

Yeah I totally agree with that. Whenever I use the word state I second guess it.lol I agree again. Agreed. I understand what you are saying and I see it the same. I figured somehow we were not meeting on behalf of the way we were using language and perhaps my faulty communication skills lol what you say here makes sense. When all the mantal facilities, mechanisms, identification with sensations and the stream of thought ceases. Emptiness, silence, direct awareness. This I feel is Headlessness or no center or the timeless state. You have this to? Please tell me you do. Lolol Like all day? -

When you say mindful suffering. What do you mean? -
Well you don’t know how they see you actually. That would be an assumption on your part to think you do. And if you should or shouldn’t care is besides the point. The point is you do. Don’t escape the idea that you shouldn’t. Stay with the fact that you do and learn why you do. But I totally know what you are talking about. Only some people on this forum understand me. But in my day to day living outside of this forum no body does. So cheer up. Watch yourself. Don’t attempt to change what is happening within yourself. Observe and meditate on why such movements are happening and understand them. Learn about the nature of the illusion of self images and how you project them onto others. Also don’t be so quick to change what is actually happening psychologically and simply face it. Again we all understand not being understood in some way or another. When it comes to the stuff talked about here on this forum even more. ?
