  1. I hope one day we'll look back at this age in horror that people needed to collect paper just to live in a society... The amount of human energy that is harvested by chasing money is sick. Money truly is the ultimate tool of control. Why else do we have money to begin with? We live on an abundant planet.
  2. @Joseph Maynor What's your life purpose? Are you currently living it?
  3. Long thread going on here about the same topic:
  4. @Siim Land Good tips However, you may want to do some more research into your germ theory and what the "flu" actually is. If you need to wash your hands constantly to keep away from "sickness," how healthy are you really? Dis-ease, the "flu," and the "cold" are bodily processes. Viruses and infections don't stand a chance in a healthy human body. Cheers.
  5. Why do you think you need protein in supplemented form?
  6. Two words my friend: Dr. Morse. Leading a life astray from nature's way inevitably produces negative effects. These negative effects are simply your body's way of reminding you that you're doing something wrong, or ortherwise what is optimal for you. Fortunately, if you live according to nature's design, you can be sure you'll be rewarded from positive effects in the form of robust health. I invite you to search for your issue on Dr. Morse's YouTube channel and explore the truth for yourself
  7. Can someone be so kind and explain this point to me? I don't understand it. Don't you lose all the benefits of nofap as soon as you have sex with a girl? It's just confusing because many who spout nofap cite meeting more girls and having sex with them as a benefit. Honestly, in my experience, over indulging in masturbation is equivalent to over indulging in sex (if you're ejaculating that is). They're both draining in excess. And actually I've found it even easier to over indulge in sex because it is so pleasurable and "real" over masturbation, if you have the right partner (or wrong lol) that is. I agree that there are some benefits to nofap, it's just the logic of the above benefit makes no sense from my perspective. If you really want the long-term benefits of "no-fap," isn't it a bit clever to conveniently allow sex in this picture? You're still ejaculating either way (assuming you ejaculate whenever you have sex). IMO, if you really want the benefits, it need not stop at masturbation no? What about celibacy? Cheers.
  8. "The urge to save humanity is almost always a false front for the urge to rule." H. L. Mencken Be careful there egos It's just a natural desire for me to help others. Golden rule.
  9. @Leo Gura Good points. You're right. I do have to say, however, I truly don't think you're grasping the significant link between health and spirituality. Enlightenment is not possible if the foundation is weak: the body. This is physical in nature, and no amount of mental gymnastics can circumnavigate this fact. Even the Buddha recognized this fact when he abandoned his asceticism, seeing a weak body cannot support the highest pursuits of the spirit, and he finally had a meal for nourishment of his body. I'm going to make the bold claim that enlightenment is rare because virtually everybody in this society has a weak foundation (i.e. weak body). Diseases and ailments of any kind are simply the body's negative feedback loop informing us that something is wrong. We're making a mistake, and manifesting the consequences. Look around and tell me who doesn't have diseases and ailments of any kind? Virtually everybody in this society is eating a high-protein, high-processed, acidic and "dead" diet. If you don't believe me, put your hand in a fire and let me know what happens to the outter cells in your hand. If what I'm saying is true, any serious student of spirituality and enlightenment would not simply discount this information because of practical inconvenience. With a strong enough why, you can bury any how. How bad do you want enlightenment? And by the way, there is a HUGE f*cking difference between 80 or even 90% raw and 100% raw. Study Dr. Morse, and his experiences while fruit fasting on only navel oranges for 6 months, and his incessant samadhi experiences. It was EASY for him to jump into samadhi experiences, so much so he claims he had to stop the fast and ground himself with vegetables because his practical existence started to fall by the wayside... Why am I so convinced Dr. Morse's story is true? I've been following Dr. Morse's protocol of fruit fasting, and I cannot believe how much of his information I am confirming via sheer direct experience: the detoxification process and its symptoms, astringent properties of fruits in the body, elimination of diseases, what the "flu" and "cold" actually is, emotional purging, heightened intuition, synchronistic events, increased sensitivity to both resourceful and un-resourceful emotions, and deep spiritual growth. This did NOT happen on SAD, paleo, bullet-proof, etc. I am convinced, that health is a SIGNIFICANT factor in realizing enlightenment or developing spiritually. It's not the only, but if you ignore it, you will not realize it. As I said before, the Buddha had to come to terms with this fact. Of course you'll have a few flukes or outliers who realize the truth eating sub-optimally. I thought I was relatively healthy as a 22 year old not eating any processed foods or grains with a dominance of steamed vegetables and grass-fed meat for a few years. I was dead wrong. I cannot tell you how much I'm detoxing: expelling mucus from my body in stools, acids through the skin, etc. And I'm only 22... I cannot imagine how much damage a 30, 40, 50+ year old human being has accrued, even if they consider themselves very "health-conscious." 99.9999% of humanity is making a grave mistake... Wonder why 99.9999% of humanity isn't enlightened? I emphasized EASY above because I am convinced enlightenment is the logical progression of having an optimal foundation. Anyway, I'll leave this here. It explains all. I know the truth of the knowledge I've stumbled across:
  10. @oysterman I wouldn't eat soy. Here's why (excerpt from Dr. Morse's The Detox Miracle Sourcebook):
  11. @Edvard I wouldn't. Peanuts are known to be some of the most toxic legumes for the nervous system... They're in practically every candy, processed, and junk food for a reason... And beans... Here's an excerpt from Dr. Morse's The Detox Miracle Sourcebook:
  12. @AMS Lol you're clearly a shill. You haven't been able to provide a single counter-point to the gaping logical fallacies I pointed out in your theory. Not to mention you don't know what you don't know. You haven't tried a Raw Vegan diet. God knows where you found those screenshots... Lol. It's all good, just keep pulling up more details to keep your "viewers" lost I can see right through the ridiculous structure of your argument. Good luck!
  13. @Joseph Maynor I don't believe Leo is enlightened. Would it not be wiser to follow your intuition, and ask for guidance from someone who has the results you want?
  14. Guys, I do want to say that I have been enjoying this thread conversation with truly open minds and all of your inputs. I absolutely do NOT have it all figured out, and these conversations are awlays a pleasant reminder of that fact. Anyway, I thought I'd share some interesting information for those who are curious. Man who did 7 months on only magoes and herbs: Ted Carr, Fruitarian for 8 years: https://www.youtube.com/user/FruitLiving/featured Thoughts? These are some paradigm-shattering examples for people on SAD...
  15. @Richard Alpert And I agree, it's not so black and white. We can eat some acidic foods, such as nuts and seeds for example.
  16. @Richard Alpert What do YOU mean by acidic fruits and vegetables? Yes I've eaten acidic fruits and vegetables in terms of "sourness". However, I'm referring to: Alkaline foods = mainly calcium, hydrogen, magnesium, oxygen, potassium, & sodium "ash" or byproduct after digestion Acidic foods = mainly chlorine, phosphorous, carbon, nitrogen, & sulfur "ash" or byproduct after digestion Alkaline foods do not trigger mucous in the body (an immune response). Acidic foods trigger mucous in the body (an immune response).
  17. @Richard Alpert You're right, there is a very good reason why it's not taken seriously in the public-eye. Because fruits and vegetables don't make a lot of money as a cure. They work, but there not as exciting and innovative as some new chemical concoction. Plus, if you study psychopathy... And if you're aware that the government is not your friend... Needless to say, there may be some dark forces at play that intentionally don't want people to know. There's a HEAVY bias to which studies are funded... Dude. Before you judge... Have you tried a raw food diet? Have you felt how in-tune you become with your emotions, especially when you're not numbing and stimulating yourself out with cooked food and animal products? Emotions, the resourceful and un-resourceful, come at you in full-wind when you're clean on the inside and living by nature's way... How would you feel if you were constantly reminded how fucked up this world is and how much needless human suffering is occurring because of ignorance? Children being poisoned by chemo... Clever marketing and addictive additives to fast food leading to chronic obesity... New "Diseases" and "itis's" occurring earlier and earlier in the human being, because we're eating an incorrect species specific diet, and damaging our children with chemicals via vaccines? Robert Morse is large because he intentionally eats cooked food to suppress the chronic cases he has to deal with on a daily basis at his clinic. Ever think of that?
  18. @Ilya Search John Rose on YouTube and his Solid Food Vacation (Juice Fast) playlist. All info is there. Here's a PDF of his protocol for the open mind ready to test an idea whose time has come. Cheers! John Rose Fasting Protocol.pdf
  19. @Richard Alpert So 80% success rate with cancer patients (i.e. eliminating their cancer completely) at Dr. Morse's clinic in Florida isn't convincing to you? Interesting... And since no science backs that up, it must be false, right? So he is a "quack"? As for alkalinity, I'm not talking about blood pH. I'm specifically referring to how "acid" and "alkaline" waste-products from digestion interact in the body, that is, if they trigger mucous in the body. For example, I can eat plenty of avocados, and I feel clean. Yet AS SOON as I eat a tablespoon of hemp seeds (on an empty stomach), I immediately feel a trail of mucous flowing down my throat. Same with dairy, meat, grains, and all other foods that are considered "acidic." NOT, however, with "alkaline" foods such as fruits and vegetables. Use whatever label you wish, however I'm speaking about how the food interacts in the body from experience. I did not cure my IBS or acne on Paleo after 2-3 years. Some will, yes, however this goes back to eliminating the mistakes in your diet: For some people, their genetics are strong enough to cope with more mistakes in their diet, and they'll "see results" even if they eliminate only 2, as on a Paleo diet. For many of us, however, that have inherited deteriorated genetics after generations of mistakes, we need to eliminate more than 2 just to feel base-line OK. Anyway, I'd also like to point out that diet changes is only one spoke of the wheel of health.
  20. @jjer94 Lol, senile. Have you looked up what the definition of senile is? I have to disagree that John Rose is showing a "loss of mental faculties." I can point to other elderly people at age 63 who fail to see the big picture, and cannot even wrap their minds around the connection between lifestyle choices and their health... I know peers in their twenties who have a less sharp mind than John Rose! Have you considered that John Rose is showing signs of aging because of accumulated effects? He only discovered the diet around 25 years ago, at around age 40 years old... What if he began since age 20? 10? Birth? Still gray hair at age 63?? You can do a LOT of damage in 40 years on SAD, and I don't think you need to look far to see proof of that. As for orthorexia, I'm sorry to hear that. I am open to new ideas. When I say "species specific diet", I am open to the possibility that it may require modification in today's world, especially when considering how much fruit, vegetables, and the soil has co-evolved with us, AND how our bodies may be damaged in unique ways. That said, do you have a better solution? Lol, it's not a religion to me! If meat was the ideal diet, then I'd be all for it! I don't care what the diet IS, I just care what works! As for 5 months... Did you get blood tests while eating raw?? Were you certain you were producing adequate amounts of DHA?? Did you try supplementing with a raw egg yolk for a while?? I am curious. Just got blood work yesterday: CBC Chem 29 TSH Vitamin B12 Vitamin D 25-Hydroxy Ferritin Serum Everything was perfect except for vitamin D (need more sun!). Vitamin B12 was in the "normal" range, although a bit low in spite of my infrequent oral supplementation (will make it more regular now). Iron, WBC count, proteins, thyroid, etc. looked great! And this is after almost 1 Year of 100% Raw Vegan! As for limiting myself? I don't. I listen to my body and simply eat what I desire when I desire. I don't crave meat, processed foods, or cooked foods. Period. I know the harm they cause simply from trial and error or experience. The pain they cause is just not worth it to me. I understand that the feeling of limiting yourself was your experience, however, you can't simply project that onto me or other Raw Vegans?? That is psychological in nature, correct? Your psyche? If you saw "feet and feet" of muciod plaque come out, are you not concerned? Do you think that is supposed to be in there?
  21. @Richard Alpert Lol! The interviewer, Markus Rothkranz, IS a Raw Vegan! We're promoting the same message!!! The above is about alkaline water, not alkaline foods... I'm speaking from direct experience because I eat 100% raw fruits, vegetables, and some nuts and seeds and I've seen the results in myself. IBS and acne are a distant memory now. I'm not the only one either. Have you researched Dr. Robert Morse? Lol, are you just speaking from beliefs and philosophies??? Have you tried a proper Raw Vegan diet??? LOL
  22. @AMS If you're unwilling to apply critical thinking skills to your so-called carnivore diet, I can only conclude you're not even interested in the truth, and you're a shill trying to eclipse the truth with misinformation. Shame on you. Have you tried a Raw Vegan diet? I've done Paleo for years and yes, I felt better relative to SAD like a lot of people, but that was only because I eliminated grains and processed foods. However, a Raw Vegan eliminates 5 mistakes: 1) processed foods, 2) grains, 3) meat, 4) cooking, and if organic, 5) chemicals. A carnivore diet you're still committing 3 of the latter mistakes. Of course the less mistakes relative to your previous diet you make, the better you will feel and "heal" the body. Truly food does not heal the body, but the body heals itself. It's only hindered the more obstacles you create for yourself with each mistake you incorporate into your diet. That said, even though you feel better now, it doesn't mean you can't feel even better. You don't know what you don't know. Empty your cup and sit down before a fact like a child. Do you believe everything a so-called expert claims? Really? We first ate meat, and as a consequence our brains grew, so that we could finally learn to use and master fire, and apply that fire to meat so we could eat more meat? Do you see the logical flaw in that line of reasoning? Our brains needed to have grown first on a Frugivore diet before we were smart enough to master fire and then apply it to meat to eat it in the first place! We got too clever for our own good and applied knowledge to alter a need, which is what evil IS. If you're not a shill, entertain both perspectives, apply some critical thinking skills, and truly ask which makes more sense? Because I'm warning you, the road you're currently headed down will only lead to more dis-ease and suffering. A diet of exclusively meat is NOT our ideal diet, and you will pay the due effects like everyone else who is subject to the law of cause and effect. Seriously consider what if the information I'm sharing is true? Because at this point, it seems you are only interested in YOUR perspective. I've looked at your perspective, and pointed out the HUGE logical falicies. Namely the incorrect human timeline of events you believe, the 100% acidic nature of your diet in the human body that is designed to be alkaline, and the fact that meat has ZERO fiber which causes the meat to stagnate, putrefy, and release toxins in the human being (Parastalsis requires fiber!). Again, if you're unwilling to look at both perspectives with an open, critical mind, I can only conclude you're not interested in the truth, but a shill conveniently trying to muddy the truth. Again, if this is you, shame on you. This is precisely why we're stuck in the dark ages of humanity today, because there are people out there who are intentionally trying to eclipse the truth with convenient stories that people with little knowledge on the subject can readily believe. Unfortunately, we are herd animals... However I won't stand for it and I'm calling you out for it.
  23. @Ilya About to graduate this December from a bachelor Physics degree program. I feel you with regards to your apathy towards studying a subject that feels so disconnected from your deepest desires. Physics is undoubtedly challenging, especially if you're not interested / curious about it. I almost couldn't complete the degree because the classes demanded more and more of my attention as I moved on from freshmen to senior year, more than I was willing to give, because: My current life purpose is filmmaker + health coach. Do you see how opposite of the spectrum this is from physics?? This created serious stress, because I wasn't even sure if I had the willpower to engage in such demanding classes that I had so little interest in. Grades began falling by the way-side and I had to "force" dig myself out of a deep hole I created for myself. It was some of the hardest moments of my life. I wanted to drop out of college SO BAD to pursue filmmaking Sophomore year of college. In fact I bombed a semester because I was so set on dropping out and focusing my time on film. The parental units financially threatened to cut me off (my Dad literally said I'd be "kicked out onto the street" if I changed my major to film or dropped out). Anyway, when I look back, here are the pros I experienced: Got a rock-solid and intellectually rigorous education in one of the most difficult subjects (sorry, I've taken psychology, film, biology, chemistry, and english classes, and none of them truly compare to the rigor of a physics core class, in my experience at least) Didn't have to work at a low-consciousness job to pay bills (parental units supported the Physics path unwaveringly). I saw college as a little bit higher-consciousness full time job, where I was getting paid by the parental units to not really do what I want to do, but who does as an employee at a 9-5 (not always true, but common). Got to take other classes I enjoyed, such as film classes on the side (I have a minor in Film Studies as a consequence) Took minimum class load as much as possible each semester to have time to pursue my true interests, including film, health, personal development, etc. Gave me time to think, reflect, and experience life, relatively comfortably. Cons: Studied a subject I have no interest in (was that time wasted? We'll find out in time...) Some Debt. Fuck. This cannot be overstated and must seriously be considered. I'm kind of back to square 1, since the degree I have won't really serve me at all to get gigs in the film/health industry. It's as if I just graduated high school (although hopefully a bit wiser). Actually, maybe I took a few steps back, because I have debt to worry about now. So maybe I should've bit the bullet and left earlier? Maybe I'd be closer to my deepest desires today? As for military. Damn dude. I would not even touch that organization with a ten-foot pole. Why would you be consciously supporting an organization known to kill other human beings? Cheers!
