ppfeiff replied to moon777light's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I agree more with this perspective than the others I've read so far in this thread. @moon777light Define clean diet? Are we talking SAD? Paleo? Vegetarian? Vegan? Raw Vegan? Fruitarian?... While I am open minded to the possibility that there are contributing factors that lead to cancer which may not have been discovered yet at this time, or may ever be discovered, at least with a scientific rigor (e.g. potential emotional, mental, and spiritual components), I do think cancer has a clear physical cause / effect link just as any other physical phenomena that we observe in this reality. Cancer is materially based, is it not? Dr. Morse would say, a diet of exclusively Fruits, Berries, and Melons and wild Herbs for any cancer patient is the solution. And he has an 80% cure rate at his clinic in Port Charlotte, Florida, healing everything from paraplegics to cancer patients. Ever heard of the grape cure? There's a book about it. It's finally becoming recognized because a fruit diet works... It's incredibly detoxifying and cleansing. I speak from experience about this topic as well. -
Yup. It is. And it’s time to take a break from it. While the forum can be of value at times, I wonder how many of these topic questions / seeking advice can simply be answered by turning inwards on the part of the asker. And I question how effective virtual advice-giving is in the first place. I had a friend admit to me that he almost never takes my advice over the phone, yet in person, it’s a completely different story. I’ve witnessed huge changes because of in-person advice. Taking a break begins now.

@Aquarius +1 For nothing wrong with approaching instead of waiting. It shows alphaness because you’re proactive about what you want in life. I’ve had women approach me in the past—I loved it every time. It’s super hot and flattering. That said, I’m surprised I didn’t really see this question asked, but why do you want to jump into a new relationship? If I understand it correctly, did you not come out of a longterm relationship recently? Sometimes when a relationship ends, the time that follows may be some of the best for inner growth. Your judgement on your LP and life direction will be clearer... Less influenced by strong emotions and life circumstances surrounding you and your significant other being together in a successful relationship. Why do you feel lonely? It’s not true that all single girls feel lonely, for example. Cheers. Hope none of that seemed too intruisive or self-righteous.

@benny Clean up your diet and pick up the book: The Tao of Health, Sex, and Longevity by Daniel Reid. Diet + the practices in that book will help you go from pre-mature ejac. to having sex multiple times for multiple hours with no ejaculation. Cheers.

@Outer Wow, thanks for sharing that. Talk about either a modern-day Zen devil, or a deluded man with a higly engrandized spiritual ego. The idea that “no one is in control of this body” can easily be abused and used as justification by the ego to carry out hurtful actions upon others. Then again... What if he is actually enlightened/liberated?

@Barna Anyway, to answer your question: Writing a thesis or taking on any big project can be a learning process in itself, and have unforeseen indirect benefits: For example, in terms of learning, improving skills in writing, articulation, and teaching (indirectly) by simplifying complex ideas to their essences. Some unforeseen indirect benefits may for example be an increase in awareness of your own habits such as in time management and self-regulation. Maybe your chronic procrastination will become blatantly obvious now, or you'll learn a better way to manage resistance (just examples that may or may not be applicable to you). The bottom line: You may end up learning more about yourself in the process by undertaking a big challenge then quitting and taking easier paths. And who knows? Maybe 1 software engineer will read that thesis, and it will inspire a major break-through in software? That said, only you can know if it is right for you to continue or to quit. Sometimes you hold em, and sometimes you fold em--you just gotta know for yourself when to do what. So what does that mean practically? An exercise I like to do to bring out my intuition: imagine the end-results of both scenarios: Scenario A: you quit, and what that entails with your life as you have more time freed-up. Scenario B: you complete the thesis, and what entails with your life as a result of completing a challenge despite your initial resistance. For which scenario do you feel expansion--do you physically feel your body leaning forward and chest opening-up when replaying Scenario A? For which scenario do you feel contraction--do you physically feel your body leaning backwards and chest closing-up when replaying Scenario B? For whichever scenario you feel expansion and leaning forwards, that's your intuition more than likely telling you that's the direction to head towards. Contraction = NO. Expansion = YES. To be honest, I live my life almost 100% intuitively this way. I trust my intuition 100%. It's never failed me in my experience. It's the divine speaking through this vessel. Then again, maybe you're not very intuitive, so this exercise may not be for you. Cheers. P.S. It's possible that you can feel contraction or even expansion for both scenarios. In the former case, it's clear that you have yet to think of better alternative options, and for the latter case, well, I've actually never encountered that, so then I'd just chose whichever seems most fun/challenging.

@Barna This puzzles me as well... Focus on LP/self-employment or Enlightenment/Liberation during spare time while being an employee for someone else...? Why not just wake up from the dream sooner? Then again... It'd be pretty sweet to wake up while already self-employed / financially self-sufficient. And then again... Who will wake up in the first place? I just don't think it's practical to do both (pursue enlightenment vs. LP)... If you want enlightenment, just like anything else big in life, it needs to be priority #1 for a while. “The man who chases two rabbits, catches neither”

@Outer That is a pretty sweet avatar haha. Not sure how you came across it.

@aurum Can I has? She's attractive and focused on self-actualizing? Haha. On a serious note though, is she liberated? Where did she learn her practices from? -

@vanish Yeah... I can't tell if you're just bluntly stating the truth of liberation, or if you're planning to actually harm/injure the body... I really hope it's not the latter... -
@Cammy Breaking up with my ex-girlfriend. Focusing on me as a consequence, and coming across personal development for the first time by stumbling upon Actualized.org's YouTube videos (perfect timing). Investing the hours and emotional labor to complete Leo's Ultimate Life Purpose Course. Changing my college major to be more in-line with my life purpose, despite serious dis-approval from parental units. Picking up meditation and doing it daily, consistently (been almost 3 years now, life-changing practice) Coming across John Rose's + Ralph Smart's YouTube videos. Going Raw Vegan 1+ year ago, for health reasons. First inspired to go cooked-Vegan because of Ralph Smart's work, then transitioned to Raw Vegan with a 136-day Juice Fast or Solid Food Vacation (SFV) because of John Rose's work. Healed IBS/border-line Crohn's Disease, back-acne, and fatigue in one swoop. I am a completely different person because of this... More spiritually inclined, better mood and energy... I feel like a kid again, in a way that's never happened during adolescence or prior with other diets (e.g. SAD, Paleo/Bulletproof). Actualized.org Forum. Blew my mind interacting with liberated/enlightened folk. Solidified my desire to seek. What are yours? Cheers.

@MsNobody Incredible. Loved it. Thanks for sharing. Nobody probably cares, but if there are any other filmmakers out there or even cinephiles, I know a higher quality version will be appreciated -
@Solvinden Why do you want a PhD in math?
-
@Dragallur I wasn't sharing Leo's video to make a scientific argument. Sometimes you have to meet people where they are, and tailor advice to that E.g. If you asked the question, I'd probably include citations. Cheers.

@Ether You’re not understanding, at least with regards to the statement I posted. It’s about giving credit where credit is due. Nothing wrong per say with making money. Do you think it would be better if Leo didn’t credit the thinkers/authors when he shared or used their ideas/techniques in his work? -
@Monkey-man You have been mis-educated my friend. Most of us have had to unwire this maniupulative programming. Think about it: who told you dairy was good for you? The same people who have a horse in the race? In other words, the same people who sold it to you? Dairy is NOT good for you, nor are human beings designed to consume milk from other animals. Human beings are the only living creatures who voluntarily do this today. Watch Leo’s video on the topic:

@egoless She’s sexy, mysterious, and knowledgeable. My first thoughts exactly. However as you began pointing out, there’s a lot of controversy surrounding her background and relationships... And there are claims that some of the ideas/techniques used during her paid workshops are not her own / blatantly plagiarized. Haven’t really had the time or interest to confirm this for myself though. It’s easy to idolize her if you see only a few of her best videos... That said, wisdom can still come from any mouth—listen to the words and minimize any personal projections onto the teacher. We can still potentially learn some things from her, even if her reputation isn’t perfect. -
@Slade Mhmm. The person who claims that a plant-based diet cannot provide adequate nutrition is the same person who hasn’t tried a proper plant-based diet me thinks Preferences aside, please humble yourself. You clearly don’t know what you’re talking about. Or there’s the possibility that you’re a shill... Could be.

@Charlotte I mean that it's possible your emotional problems are largely physically-based. Could be. If you've had these issues for a longtime, and meditation simply isn't cutting-it, perhaps your issues have little to no mental component. Cheers.

With regards to relationships, if a person's vMEME STACK (the collections of vMEMEs or colors you are for different facets of life, including relationships, sexuality, career, etc.) is green in this area, then socializing and sexuality has the potential to blossom, so long as the surrounding life conditions support it. GREEN = Community (for simplicity's sake). In other words, if a person is GREEN in relationships, and lives in an environment where community is encouraged for example, then that person will probably strike-up some deep friendships or even loving relationships with others, with genuine intentions that a person in ORANGE in the same area cannot understand. Each vMEME or color really decodes the intention behind the action, not so much which actions will be carried out. For example, as you stated, you care about others and see the potential for building deep relationships with another girl. If this is your intention, dating is GREEN. That's not the same intention as wanting to slam some pussy day-in and day-out, as you know, which is ORANGE At the end of the day, this is just a model. A theory. If you want to date, and you're conscious of your intentions, then date! Do what you want to do Don't limit your life to what a book says to fit a certain mold or color. P.S. While it's true, GREEN is more 'other'-focused, this does not mean it is anti-free speech like BLUE can be such as in leadership/follower-ship relations. As you move up the spiral, the cooler 'other'-focused colors integrate more 'self'-focused (individualism/elitism) traits, and vice versa with the warmer 'self'-focused colors integrating more 'other'-focused (collectivism) traits. It just becomes understood at a higher harmonic, because in truth, the better you can serve yourself, the better you can serve others, and vice versa. Cheers. -
@Psyche_92 You're complaining that girls are attracted to you? Just imagine when you're 35--you'll be picking up girls in their 20's

@Charlotte (Should begin at 09:04 if I share-linked it correctly--he immediately addresses anxiety and panic attacks until around 14:00) (Same video as above, however it should begin at 00:31--he immediately addresses how to effectively move stagnant lymph and repair the problem at the root--damaged adrenal glands = anxiety) The man's work speaks for himself--Dr. Morse has a clinic in Port Charlotte, FL (US) addressing a diversity of chronic to acute cases, including cancer, tumors, paralysis, M.S., anxiety, and depression just to name a few, with a cure rate of 80%. Yes. I used the "C" word. He's been healing others for over 40 years now. In my experience with helping others, and the unbelievable number of anecdotes of people healing themselves of specifically their anxiety/depression with an emphasis on raw fruits and some vegetables and herbal supplements, I can't help but think that your issues may also have a physical component, and perhaps a larger one than what one would think. No. I have no affiliation with him or any of the herbal tinctures he sells--I just want to help others where I can Because of this man, I cured IBS, fatigue, and back-acne. It's the only thing that's worked for me and many others--and I've been experimenting with other "healing" methods for years. If this all resonates with you, all the information necessary to reverse the physical component of your issue(s) can found be found within this book: The Detox Miracle Sourcebook: Raw Foods and Herbs for Complete Cellular Regeneration by Robert S. Morse N.D.. I also recommend The Tao of Health, Sex, and Longevity: A Modern Practical Guide to the Ancient Way by Daniel Reid for a balanced perspective. I wish you luck on your journey. Cheers. P.S. Coffee over-stimulates the adrenals, and it's more than likely not helping any emotional issues.

@BjarkeT Holistically, Cal New Port's book is one piece of the puzzle. It's not the entire puzzle itself. Ask: Did Leo do what you described? I'm not bashing your advice by the way. I just think it varies on a case by case basis: for some individuals, your advice is exactly the answer that will work for them. For others, who are perhaps more intuitive, turning inwards may very well be what works for them. In my experience, the latter works best for me, and I'm having no problems living out my LP in the real world.
