It is, no question. But for me it's a principle and you gotta have principles. It can be the best in the world, if it violates privacy like Meta it can go to hell. Also if I look at my friends with IG they get quickly drawn into a lot of BS. However, if nothings works I would do a simple channel only for getting traction which I can translate to another channel and then drop IG. But for now I feel like I have a bunch of other options left.

@CARDOZZO I don't use anything from Meta ever again, I thought about LinkedIn, Github and my own website as well (I had a wordpress page, but I hate that I can't change anything, so I took it down)
-
@EugeneTheSage awww:3 so overall you are doing pretty good, right?
-
@CARDOZZO Which is your starter social media platform of choice?

Ok, here is my study. Koe is a Generalist and gives a bunch of sound advice I think could either come from "Range: Why Generalists Triumph in a Specialized World" by David Epstein or some of Epsteins sources. Basically it's like this: Everything changes quickly, so it's a gamble to train 1 skill to uber-master-level like these stereotype chinese Parents, who force their children to play the Violine for 8 a days since the age of 3. Maybe you are very good, but in all other aspects you will lack severely. What if one skill, say programming in a specific way only a few can so, is made easy via AI? Then you are f'd, except you can change. Koe argues that it is smarter to have a wide skill repertoire, to be a jack of all trades early and specialize later. You become a master of learning new skills and compounding them. Sounds familiar... It's both a smoothing story for someone seemingly wasting his 20s dabbling AND the real alchemy: You use the bits and bites and combine them into something new. Koe is smart for phrasing it like this because many can relate!!! I find it interesting that he sacrificed grades for private learning, that's so me. Generally I made a lot of meta-notes on how he does it, I need to rehash them before releasing them here. What do you think he makes good or bad, @CARDOZZO? For example I find it weird how haunted he looks, like if he drank 6 cans of energy drink and has not ate in 2 days, lol. It made me almost reject the videos to be honest (which would have been sad). We find this, for example, in Robert Greenes Book 'Mastery', there was even an Interview on that book (i searched for 5 Minutes, but couldn't find it) where Greene says: 'I don't want you to think about any time in your life as wasted time'. Anyway, from what I gathered Dan makes the process more straightforward. He says one has to study in this Sequence in order so become a solo capitalist (can we please not the filthy E. word??): Here are the skills (the both top Quadrants): 1. Marketing & Sales 2. Writing & Speaking 3. Results-Oriented Skills (like Programming a Website) 4. Personal Interest Skills (like Nutrition) For examples you make a Webapp for learning about Nutrition and market his via 1. + 2. Let's go into some details: 1. Marketing & Sales. So what is Marketing & Sales? Leveraging human Psyche to make exchanges of goods happen. You need to give the Customer a value, via a medium with a result-oriented skill. Until we are there we leverage our time to make a follower ship in social media to have enough eyeballs on you when you are really into business;) 2. Writing & Speaking. Then he talks about Communication, you need to make it successful. That is only your Job 3. Results-Oriented Skills (like Programming a Website). Ordinary learning, no need to go much into this here. 4. Personal Interest Skills (like Nutrition). These are here do give the content our product or brand flavor. There are 10.000.00 People teaching math, but maybe no one who does it with a solid hip hop background using rap metaphors without sounding cheesy. _________________ Conclusion: A good Youtuber I'll definitely revisit! Thanks @CARDOZZO _________________ No, I have to thank you for posting this. I too believe he is heavily influenced by Leo Gura, which makes much sense, I always suspected that there would come a time where former students of Leo Gura emerge and reign supreme over the mediore landscape of the Internet. Can you recommend any other video? I'm sick at home, unable to work but to healthy to sleep all day and I could leverage my time with another video. If you can't recommend one, I pick a random one. By the way, I taking the advice and posting now one Twitter systematically for the first time in my life. Thanks again for the praise, have a nice evening

Halfway through the video, also worthwhile. Comment in Detail after I'm done. I have no 2 densely written pages of notes.

A very worthwhile video, therefore I want to thank you for sharing as it should be rewarded to share good Information. I did not know Dan Koe before. I watched only the first video, but I'll watch the second in an hour or so. Then I report on this. I think Dan Koe is also an interesting case study in himself (How he structures his paid Businesses around his social media) as he is basically teaching a paradoxical pyramid scheme: His Biz is to teach Biz. Paradoxical, because this isn't scalable, however this advice can be used on other Business Ideas. So it depends on you as a Practitioner. By the way I assume the age of the pyramid-scheme-business-teachers on Youtube (and eventual successors of youtube) will never and fully end, but the blossom of it ended, as it is too obvious. Too much competition (or you need to specialize ruthlessly). Not to say that a few people can still get really rich by preaching basic self help, you can get really rich by being ignorant on television, and so in THAT comparison is preaching basic self help on youtube still good. I don't want to trash anything, I'm just pointing things out However I want to add nuance to something you wrote: THE SOLUTION to a Profitable Problem (which is in some domain of the eternal markets) = Modern Skills + Evergreen Skills + Life Experience + Personal Interests For example if have the problem that I want earn my money with a solo-business which makes people healthier, I do something like this: 1. Assessment of Skills: Do I have well enough developed Evergreen Skills? If no, I earn them. Then do I have well enough developed Modern Skills? If no, I earn them. Then do I have well enough Life Experience? If no, I earn it. Of course one will have to learn more later in the process, but as a prerequisite you can't skip that phase. 2. Brainstorming: What Profitable Problems align with the other Quadrants above? I get a list. 3. Write a Business Plan. I should see which gaps I need to close. Do I need more Capital or Skills or do I need just more time to do this? etc. 4. Make the first plan and execute until it fails and go through the process for another iteration. If the Problem is good and I am on board with it, it'll stay. Let's see if the second video changes my mind.

Fair. We agree that the average men will benefit from this Video. However, we are both factual not average in knowledge, so therefore I expect a higher quality while I can at the same time assume it'll help the average men (if he does not go extreme which I assume here as most man are moderates). Yeah, this minority of male feminists dismisses every piece of Information that does not states that men are the root of evil when it comes to gender dynamics. Do you mean women in general of female feminists? I don't find your post. I'd would rather describe it like this: high quality men don't want submission for it's own cause but they have their own agenda and want to find a mate who is 100% on board with the mission. Everything else would be stupid.

It's all about his male energy, young man crave that. It's all about what society sows. I despise Tate, but the Phenomenon is the logical consequences of the suppression of healthy male development since decades. It should everyone concern that this wannabe kingpin can get such a big follower ship with his depraved teachings. Better than being a default domesticated men or so these mislead young men might think. This is the harvest. 生不逢時,困且多憂。 -
At this point I want to thank my mother that she required me to learn to fulfill chores in the household like cleaning, cooking, wash my own cloths etc. -- I can not fathom how any man (or woman) is allowed (and proud) to reach adulthood without learning to do basic chores of any household. It's like the women won't do it, the men neither. So both parties are ignorant. What? How about both men AND women learn to do these chores? Why ain't no parents saw this coming? Do they love to raise depending children? See, this is another point where a male political pendant to feminism (non-toxic!!) is desperately needed. A lot of people would here argue that feminism already provides this, which is laughable. These people talking against a healthy male pendant to feminism have to understand that development in a society does not needs automatically to be a zero sum game, quite the opposite, but it can be the case that life becomes better for one group and also for the other group! Better developed men => overall a better society! Why is that controversial? What people argue for in feminism is the domesticated men, not the self-actualized men, and then don't understand why nobody is buying and why it backfires. I ask any of you: How can society come to the next level (Green) if the average male in the west is deficient in socializing, has no friends, bad hygiene, health and has no PURPOSE? Of course, the same goes for every person in a society, but if one takes side to solve men's problems it's treated like one is oppressing other people by doing that. No, you can do both. It's NOT a zero sum game. The main Question remains: "Which roles can a man in today's society fulfill?" I come to an end. If we continue to suppress male development* we yield psychological or or physical absent Fathers, Incels, Red/Black Pillers, Peter Pan like Adult Gamers amog others --- and simplistic Videos about 'How a Women treat a men like a men treats a job'. Thank you very much. *because male Development takes allegedly something away from all other groups in a society, most notably women but also all modern non-binaries, which is not true at all. It's like to argue in a society with many illiterates if everyone can read, the skill of reading is not so valuable anymore, therefore it's bad for us who can already read. We have to go together to the next Level.

Now, one can't deny a certain degree of sympathy to a man who can make fun of himself. @all This discussion is more fun than watching youtube, anyway I go now back to reading my current book, which is about the lifestory of a Germany Democratic Republic Deep Cover Agent, who claims he were involved in the Olof Palme assasination. All in all a more peaceful story than this thread

At your command, major!

OMG - EXACTLY my point! Why didn't you tell me earlier that you are a commie too?

@Chives99 Forgot to watch this, I do this now as I own a VPN, haha. I report my findings in an hour;) ______________________ - D at the beginning should start off finding and holding a physical demanding job like putting packages in the amazon truck 8h a day, 6 days a week plus some martial art and then we'll see if his incelness can survive one summer... ok until he is good it'll take more like 5 years and therapy but he'll be WAY better off after some month - guaranteed! EDIT: Look at him at the end! Proofs my point! - The eastern European Admin is good as well with his Hammer, why won't he just dress up and go the gym and martial arts classes? The mind can be a prison, indeed. - I like how the Interviewer pronounced Chad as Cha'd - The Eliott Rogers Songwriter when talking to the Interviewer (I am supposed to piss people like you off) and the response of the Interviewer, which give me J-Cole 1985 vibes (when he talked to Lil Pump) - 26:25 - a femcel, now I've seen it all. Interesting how people are caught in the trap. Why not matching up with a fellow male Incel? Two people healed with akin problems can work on it together... - How the Interviewer keeps up his respectful way of communicating is remarkable... that's hard work... Could be a social worker... - 43:00, D the Incel comes into nature and states that he isn't there at all normally, but it's beautiful - the beginning of a healing? How many of us has the forest passage healed? -44:40: D: 'The Incel Crisis is more a hope Crisis than anything else... people want people, they want to feel connected, they want be part of something bigger than themselves' - BASED! -
Then I'm sorry as well. These spaces drive me nuts, what is this? Yes, it's way better than default.
-
Start the video at 6:00, what you see is then what I care for regarding this video.
-
@Devin Why do you put 7 spaces in front of your text, it drives me crazy. And also if we agree on the solution I don't care how each of us got there. We are good
-
I disagree, there is a lot more in the video like the part where he states that women treat a relationship with her men like a job. I said I don't think this is true for the late 20/early 30 'you go girl' career women, it's that they treat their job as their job. I also said that women who end up divorcing don't do that easily like going to a different job. We can discuss all day everything around the vid. The point to me is this: If you don't do the relationship work as a man, don't be baffled if your woman leaves you. And I don't think it's good advice. Done.

Worthwhile watch, thanks for sharing! -
Factual true from my perspective
-
On point. We have a huge disproportion in western countries in development, at least in the 30+ section, the younger ones still need to prove if they are more wise to this and I have hope that they are.
-
Ok, I can't explain why lesbian couples divorce more than twice an much as gay couple. What is your explanation?
-
Glad you asked: https://www.whitleylawfirmpc.com/3-reasons-why-women-initiate-divorce-more-often-than-men/ Your edit with zurews tag was too late, haha.

I like how you simulate how someone would answer to our argumentation using ad hominem and appeal to authority. Of course that is not your real reply, which is great. So what is your argument against what we wrote?
-
The point in progressive modern relationships is that there isn't a single answer to this anymore.
