..which means you're safe because you seem to be not that bright. This Thread is not about mocking but about understanding. edit: yeah i made some stupid jokes before but it's something different to say that to someone who explains his pov, isn't it? How would you feel? I try to summarize: So one Element why you vote for Trump is that there is a lack of Security which is filled by buying guns, but then the other side tries to forbid guns / NRA. At the same Time the Left is out there Demonstrating and co-creating this Opposition thus. Is that near of what you said? No trick here, I don't try to nail you down, I just want to understand that -

Let us not talk about all the Crooks who voted him for a Moment, ok? (I mean I don't wanna talk about the White Nationalists and blabla Extremist Voters but the Average Joe) What your Opinion, would you tell us please? -

@Rilles This Post of yours randomly reminds me of Tony Soprano in one of the first Interactions with Dr. Melfi. She offends him with Knowledge and he is like: "I went for 2 Semester to College so I know ALL that shit about Freud as well!!" i wanted be sure to share that for whatever it's worth -

Say one hypothetical Candidate who almost no one know yet would rise and be elected in 8 Years (maybe after *gasp* Kayne) and everyone has it better than ever before so he make a second term. Even then I would guarantee that 30% of Voter or so would be viciously against that even if they are the ones who profit from it.. what to do about these people who bitch and moan no matter how good it gets? in a democracy they should be represented, but if they get represented they vote regression... I guess it's a two step forward, three back, then three steps forward, one back and so on development -

@Rilles I mean I can be wrong, no Question. And by the Way your Question shows me way more: How can we even Measure a 'good' President? And if we make a Model can a objectively 'good' President can be pictured as 'bad' from a Majority of the Voters? Or is just who is said to be good from the Majority good? What if they change their Mind 10 Years later when they see what comes from the Decisions from that President? etc. pp. We could write a lot of Bachelor and Master Thesis or equivalent Works on that Questions.. So thank you, never thought of that -

@Rilles Which is true and I knew you would bring it up after I posted, but I said before: I would assume that every answer boils down to that -

@Rilles Yeah I understand, but I don't think here is the right place. There are plenty of Interviews of Trump Supporters off the Street. I guess the self proclaimed Trump Supporters here can't even vote yet or are Trolls really. Why would someone who votes for Trump consume Leo content and thus join the Forum? If here is some Trump Supporter in the Audience and I'm wrong please tell us. -

@Rilles Useless. You need to make a strict Analyses to get an Answer. If you want to know Opinions I'm sure there is a Website. Ah, here: https://lmgtfy.com/?q=good+policies+made+by+trump&pp=1 -

@Rilles he has sure as fuck some that are short term effective, but play out middle and long term as disastrous. plus he will have some good out of sheer luck. we would need to have the presidents before analyst so that we can compare the track record. and what is considered good? define it. -

Qeustion: What Are Some Good Things Trump Has Done? Answer: None, but there will be one once Trump will have been gone Ok, lame Wordplay. Here my real Answer: He's a bad Example, which leads People to think 'Boy, I gotta get active against that...'. That is the Major good he does by being such a baboon. An super extreme Example so that you instantly get what I mean: WW2 was a big disaster, we sure as hell don't want anything like this to happen again, but in the following Decades we saw a huge leap in Technology due to Technology developed in the War. So it's bad for us now, but it's leads us to the next step. I hope People in Government will invent Structures to prevent another incompetent person to gt voted into Office. How could the Republican Party nominate him? Wtf. -
Exactly! If she does it intentionally I would picture that as good to not like that. That's not the type of Girlfriend I want. Because - this would be an Indicator of a instabile Psyche to me. Who knows what comes next? If she's just in Hotpants or Bikini, calm cown maybe it's really just insecurity @ShugendoRa . By the way great Avatar, I hope you are not as down as the Album. The Lyrics can be quite depressing even if the Songs are catchy. Started listening 1 Month ago to this^^

I'm sure that the difference in Gender we see today will soften. The Science Fiction Show 'The Expance', which is in the 25th Century, is a good example. There are Gays or Lesbians, very tough Women, all races and what not else. The People who live on the Border of the Civiliced Galaxy are called 'Belters' and live under the Motto: Be what you want. It's Fiction, but I'll think this is the way it'll play out. I do think that what we have today with that 'Gender-War', as they call it, will be interpreted as crazy trend from the Perspective of Future Generations (5+ into the Future). And I mean any Side in this. These People who let their children choose are goodminded but there will be a lot of damage... just wait 10-15 Years until the nowadays kids are Adults themself and realize that they really want which can be whatever they choose at 15 - but i wouldn't bet any money on that this is the majority. -

Sure We'll see how that'll play out. May I ask where you have these Timeline Pictures from? -

@datamonster It's serious, no doubt. What you are describing is a big challenge for Humanity. We are far developed. Think about how awesome it is that a Global Population is able to get the Message arround and adapt to this, even though we see some dramatic things. It could be far worse, we should strieve to do it far better -

The Question is if every Pandemic before was recorded, which can't be validated easily. The only thing we know is that we have more, but it's not clear to me that this is due to an increase of pandemics OR an increase of documentary on this pandemics. So your Statement is the Pandemics are coming more frequently, which is true if you believe in this List: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_epidemics There are a bunch of Pandemics in the 20th Century as well, just as in the 19th and 18th Century BUT the 21th Century is only 20 Years old... so yeah could be but The Question arises to me how valid this List can be, I mean we record Weather since the late 19th Century, so is it too absurd to assume that a lot of Plagues as big as the 770-People-Death-Plague-SARS could slip through unnoticed in the Centuries before? Also one thing for sure is that the Plagues from 2000 to 2020 where in there Death toll not as severe as the once in the Century before. We could have even 100 times more plagues, but it does not matter if they are locale and marginale in Death Numbers. We adapt and work against these Plagues so that they don't become as big as the previous. We are so good that these Plagues are little compared to the really big Palgues like the Black Death. The Question is how it plays out this time.. Please don't think I'm cold blooded or something, I just try to describe it a little more scientifically. I do care a lot about People and want to see as LESS VICTIMS AS POSSIBLE from Covid-19 and I behave accordingly
