Accounting is something every Entrepreneur needs. And you can start it right now with you personal budget and free software..

I have to add 3 things: Say what I think even if people get upset with it. Instead of working in the lone I want to get my work online to see for everybody.. I think about a specialized blog for my niche, but I don't know weather I should use my real name with it. For Business it seems fair, but my instinct says 'IT'S A TRRRAP!' I want a car... (and a drivers license lol)

@Thought Art Nice! Get that bread.

@StarStruck Do what you want:) I see programming as a Tool to get Things done so I get paid. People romanticize it too much. So no need for you to be sorry The same Problems will be popping up in the Consulting Career. Both are rather competitive and high stress. Thats no problem for you per se, but you need to get used to it. After I read 'Antifragile' from Nicolas Taleb i got a better understanding how stress beyond what im used to actually helps me to improve (up to a point)

HEY, great Thread. I think about 2021 nonstop. 2020 was awesome, because I accomplished everything I wanted. BUT Quarantine made me really sober and let me question what I want in my life. I got a strong sense of urgency to get ahead and I have not enough time to waste it on stupid shit. My Intuition tells that I have to leave the City I was born in and lived to this day. To leave people and make room for new people. This would mean not a just new Chapter to me, but the end of Book 1 and the Beginning of Book 2. The hardest Thing I've ever done.

- Do you read the 'Meditations' of Marcus Aurelius? It's still there after 2000 Years for a reason. - I really enjoyed reading 'Poor Richard' from Benjamin Franklin (as a Non-American). He has a certain wit in his writings. - If you are into Science Fiction read 'The Expanse', it is also full of little Bits of Wisdom and quite entertaining in the display of the mundane things of human nature that will never change... Victor Frankl (a Psychiatrist who survived the Auschwitz Concentration Camp) claimed that one can get through everything with a Meaning (or Purpose). I found it always uplifting to read him because he went through hell and came out psychological healthy (if you consider the Horror he experienced) - if he could do that then we can do it as well.. Lastly a Idea.. do something good for yourself (even if you don't feel like it): Eat better food, Exercise (like @xxxx wrote) or floss you teeth every day. If you treat yourself good, it sure helps. Have a nice Day!

@varkolaka122 just think about how much time you waste, you will likely develop a sense of urgency over time;) you asking the right questions, now it's up to you how long it takes before you overcome that. usually one is lucky change one habit at the time. don't forget to live and always think about the break points, the points there you are likely to fuck your new routine up

@EdwardBaker You need to find a strategic intent if you haven't already. The Question is not if A or B is 'generally' better but what will A or B lead to for you.. Will it bring you towards your strategic intent? If you don't really know your strategic Intent or you only know roughly what you want I would recommend using my simple Formula for choosing which career you want: Choose the Career Path which is obligatory to the Business and the skills are harder to develop and maintain. It's also nice if you find a Path that is obligatory and hard but people don't want to do it because it's not 'sexy'. That could be a nice Niche.. You will likely have less competition and a higher pay and more to say.

It depends on how much time you have per Week. You don't want to rush it. You have to read a couple of books and do research. I scheduled 6 Months to do it comfortable after my 9 to 5. You could do it in your Semester Break

@EdwardBaker Do you want to know my POV?

Is anyone here in the Apprenticeship-Phase and struggling with it? I struggle this Autumn so hard. I don't expect any easy Answers from you, but if you have something positive to reply I'm grateful;) I mostly want to share my thoughts because honestly my friends and family can't relate. My chosen Field is Programming. I choose it because I wanted to master Programming for Years, it pays the Bills and I can see how I can make a difference with the set of skills I'm mastering right now. The last one is critical. I learn it really good to do even cooler things in 5 Years. My LP is not defined but I would like to impact the Educational System positive, say with Top Notch Software. Now to the Problem! I work in a Software-Company since 2 Years and I start to become good. However, I have still Years to work until I'm a Master Programmer and at least 1 Year until I can work as a freelancer without struggling too hard. It honestly feels like I go no where. I'm bored! I have no impact in creative decision making and I feel like Times is running because I have way less time for everything else. My Solutions are so different that's hard to fit in and sometimes I feel i loose my Mojo when I conform to the Group Default. I had to give up a lot. I see two obvious POVs to this: 1. I have to leave to find my Bliss, 2. That's a damn fine opportunity to learn to be patient. But I don't know right now which is right.

@Hellooo Hey, super cool that you want to make a change! I'm not super fit, but I had once very bad health. I was fat, then skinny until I finally got 'it'. Assuming you are healthy I recommend the following. Most People tend to overly complicate plans, but gaining weight is rather simple: Gaining Weight = Diet + Training + Rest + Mindset. Here are some Explanations: 1. Diet Mandatory: Track your Diet with an App. I was against it but my GF got me to use it. It's very Handy and you can scan Barcodes of many Products Get your Macros right: ~20 Protein/30 Fat/50Carbs Eat 1.3 Times the Calories what you need Read some Books or research on the Web 2. Training Train regularly with free Weights and Body Weight Exercises 2 to 3 Times a Week and don't overdo it! less is often really more Research about how you do it and be sure to make it right, then lift a lil more weight every week or so 3. Rest Sleep Enough Get at at least a Day a week off 4. Mindset less is more Stay on Track for at least 6 Months AND IF YOU FOUND A GOOD PLAN, DON'T CHANGE IT EVERY 2 WEEKS -- Things need TIME:) Calculate set-backs in Track you Gainings on a Paper-Calendar where you see it all the time..

For now it's very crucial that I focus only on my own apprenticeship. Call it Intuition or whatever. I will have to bust through Obstacles until at least the End of 2021 to get to my Bliss -- while keeping an Eye on the Vision. That will be the hardest part. That I won't be consumed by everyday Life or quit to never pick something idealistic up again. Tough shit. But if it were easy, it would be probably not interesting enough to inspire me. After that I would be delighted to create a school so that new Ones have more than the University of Youtube..

@Rilles That Turner/Sagan Video is Basic, but sadly no one gets it. Offtopic: I contemplate for Years how I could help to Update the Education System in my Land, but it's so tedious. Almost no one has a Educational Reform as a Priority, while it's the most effective Method to improve a Society. And I want to get shit done in my life time. I really think my Life Purpose will be around Education, but I don't even have Companions who care. 'Socialism is when the Government does stuff!' - Turns out we already achieved global Socialism, in some Countries even Communism by that Definition :D:D

@Leo Nordin Sorry, mostly we are just normal People here:D I can nothing else positive contribute than that: I can't recommend you to leave. Peace.

@Akemrelax First of all that Quote is AWESOME! Negative Motivation is better than nothing. The Question is what you work towards and if you would have chosen it if you were positively Motivated. Maybe you have to channel you anger more effectively so that it can flow, so to speak. I, for example, let all the anger inside and have to work to release pressure. If you work on that it could be the case that you are able to be more focused. Your diet, Caffeine intake and your Sleep Schedule is also aligned with your Energy - so check is there is something wacky. Maybe is @Preety_India right and you need Feminine Energy. That reminds me of The Way of the Superior Man where Deida writes that Feminin Energy is all around us, we just have to take it in... It could easily be so opposite (grow more Masculine) or do both. Only you can say. For me it sounds that you need to grow overall more healthy. That Thinking seems Demotivating and Depressing to me. Why do you believe that? What is it you want to pursue in life? Is it too big to start? Do you know how to do it or is it just an Idea?
-
@Leo Nordin Sorry, I have to say it real. You want an easy Exit without realizing this will be the hard way. Talk to some People who are 40+ without a School Degree and ask if they can recommend it. Look at their life. You are VERY likely to get a miserable life out of that. You make it way harder you yourself if you quit now even if it is you goal to meditate all day long. See these Posts for further Advice, they are good:

I'm very interested in the Answers we might get here! Pick up Habit at the Time and, if you can, have a separate room just for work. I do this Routine in the Morning: Yoga and/or Training, a healthy Breakfast & Hot & Cold Shower. I do a lot more, but that are the Things i worked consciously into my Morning. I think the most practical Morning Routines are short, because you do them even if there is not time or your are not a home. Because that is where Routines tend to break. I would say that more than 5 Things in a Morning Routine are totally unmanageable over time when you don't life like a monk. That's why they do it.. I believe a good morning Routine can work for Decades, because it makes you stronger. A bad one might feel better in the short run, but you stop it eventually. -

I explained that as 'premature' Green what other People here explained as 'skipping Orange'. Some People stay in immature Green and become toxic, some regress into Orange (and develop the bias everyone in green is like they was...) and some integrate Orange and go into healthy Green. The Problem is that in my Estimation not enough make it to healthy Green. That's cool! Could you share a Link to the Database in case anyone else want to dive in? This allegory explains it: It's like Grades in School. The 10. builds in top of 1.-9. Grade and you learn something new in the 10. Grade. Same Thing in Yellow: You learn something New. You learn to talk to People from all Stages beyond to get. You want to make Systems better for all People. The lower Stages tend to just want to covert everyone... -
I don't knew them before I got a recommendation on Youtube and I immediately thought about this thread. Healthy Green, yay! Enjoy!

I would Challenge you to post an Exposé, so you have to think about what you want to explore in Detail;) The Topic is hot.

yeah everything evolves.. ai.. that talk is hip now. a trendy narrative. like flying cars everywhere in the 80s. distraction edit: I thought about what I wrote before. I'm certain that that is right AND that there is opportunity. One got to find the non-bullshit aspects. Be part of the change instead of fearing the change. I'll definitely research that for my life purpose architecture, so thanks to you @Scholar even though you might not meant it that way that inspired me
