Mister Rogers: It's a beautiful day in The neighborhood; Forrest Gump: Life Is like a box of chocolates; Berenstein Bears not Berenstain Bears; It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown: Linus meets the Great Pumpkin on his own after his friends give up on him. These are all memories that I swear are true, especially the Berenstein Bears. They are, however, false (now). Mister Rogers: It's a beautiful day in THIS neighborhood; Forrest Gump: Life WAS like a box of chocolates; Berenstain, NOT Berenstein; Charlie Brown: Linus falls asleep, does not meet the Great Pumpkin. Does anyone share my memories? Have you noticed seemingly insignificant changes in "reality" vs memories?

I just watched an episode of "Cooked" on Netflix where they talk about wheat and bread. One interesting thing they talked about was sourdough, and how the natural fermentation process makes wheat easily digestible and makes the nutrients more easily accessible. All bread used to be made this way, but now the use of fast-rising yeast does not allow the wheat to be broken down because there is no fermentation. Pretty interesting. Episode 3: Air -

I recommend replacing the almond milk and olive oil with buttermilk and butter. That's enlightenment on a plate! But seriously, humans have eaten wheat since the dawn of agriculture, and many have survived on bread alone. While it's true that modern agriculture has modified wheat into a less nutritional, more bug resistant, and probably less tasty version of its ancestors, the same can be said of most of the vegetables and fruits that we buy at the supermarket. It is all modified for maximum production in the field and to resist bruising and bugs and disease. Unfortunately nothing that we buy tastes like the fruits and veggies that our grandparents grew up eating. Modern grains, fruits and veggies are just watered down, tasteless shells of what they once were. If you are interested in buying heirloom wheat flour and other grains such as farro and benne, check this company out: http://ansonmills.com/grain_notes/14 -
I went through the same sort of situation. I went 5 years without so much as a kiss from a woman, and became depressed and lost all confidence in myself. What I learned from this experience is that women really pick up on your lack of confidence, and are repelled. Essentially, not getting laid is keeping you from getting laid. It's not a fun cycle, but you can break it. My advice would be to find something other than sex to bring you out of your funk and boost that confidence. Or if there is some situation or setting where you have more confidence, try to find women there (e.g. if you are a decent singer, go to a karaoke bar). Or just go to a bar and strike up conversations with women without the intention of having sex with them. Make it purely about conversation. You might find yourself forgetting about sex and actually enjoying the night. Once you feel comfortable that negative aura will lift away and maybe draw someone in. Sex will happen eventually; you just have to convince yourself of that. Best of luck!

I had hoped to find someone that has seen the Eye, but I also wonder how common it is to have a vision of any kind during meditation. If you have seen anything that seemed supernatural or just out of the ordinary, please share. -

@nightrider1435 It was interesting to say the least. Frightening, but I want to learn more about it. I think I would like to have this experience again but I don't know if I could navigate back to whatever it was. -
I'm a forester. Do you like toilet paper? You're welcome.

Wibbly-wobbly, timely-wimey...stuff. One school of thought is that an object cannot exist before it exists; you could theoretically build a time machine, but it could only travel as far back in time as the point at which it was created. In the same vein of thought, one could only travel within one's own lifetime. Is there a Doctor in the house?

@Nahm No problem, guess my mind went where it wanted to go, as in the higher power, "I Am That I Am" from one of those religions. I have wondered if it could have been that, or something darker, or just a hallucination as Ether suggested. -

@Nahm Is this something that you have experienced? I have wondered about this for years and have never asked anyone else about it. Any further insight would be appreciated. -
I used to meditate daily during the course of about 2 years. Usually just breath focus or focus on the surrounding space. I got to a point where a session would last about an hour. One night I was having a great meditation session; my mind was very quiet and I felt exceptionally peaceful. Then I slowly became aware of an unblinking eye looking at me in the darkness. I didn't see it all at once, like when you turn off the lights and your eyes adjust to the dark room. Needless to say, when I finally saw it I was jolted out of meditation. I was not asleep; I was upright in half lotus position. I was not taking drugs. I have not meditated since because it was so unnerving. Any ideas on this, or has anyone else experienced something similar???
