  1. Almost inately I've always had a fascination with how and why people act a certain way. This curiousity has allowed me to observe much more consciously about social interactions and why/how they form from personal experiences. These experiences have allowed me to relate to people and see through others as I was once in a situation of the same nature(notice how I didn't use of the same situation) in other words, seeing the truth of the person's action(and through it them within the actions regard). As a byproduct, I've learned to use truth to get to people, sometimes in a loving way and sometimes in a more cutthroat sense. How you ask? Simple, Just observe people and therefore relate with your own experiences(More empathy=More accurate) When you see through people's actions and why they do what they do, You can project that knowledge with a simple face indicating you know what their ulterior motives are. Your vibe will give it off that you know. If you are competent enough, you can make comments with that vibe. This frightens people, but at the same time they're super curious on what you know. So in a sense you are like a horror movie. By default if you do see through people's machinations, an insecurity can be striked. You are essentially threatening to purge evil at its core. Boy do people hate that, especially people who are not use to purging themselves spiritually. You can also use this in a way to express your love sharply. By seeing through people, you can see their weakpoints. What moves their soul? What are they passionate about? Insecure about? Love doing? Want did they always want to talk about but just couldn't? If you can target what their soul (buried subconscious if you want to be so scientific) wants in a gentle and understanding manner, It'll be hard for them to not be very close friends with you. Of course you can only use this to be more loving if you're open-minded care about deep conversations and you yourself(soulwise) want to be around loving people. You must essentially learn how beautiful truly connecting with people is to want to use truth to connect with more. Once you start seeing the truth of people which starts with yourself, you will know why people act the way the The way you treat people will in a sense function like you are acid to them. It will bring out what is in them. For example someone who loves to explore and enjoy life will be responded with your love for life and someone who secretly tries to assert his ego will be called out at the core issue.(To be purged) Socializing will flow and you naturally gravitate to what you truly want and shaft out the narcassitic people. Why am I telling you this little secret? Well this is but mental masturbation on here. Not everyone will even understand what I'm talking about. You'll have to find out if its true or not. Beyond that only a good chunk of people are naturally empathic(or care for it) and truly willing to learn about how people work consciously in their own lives. Relating to others is in fact, Relating to yourself. Humans aren't as different as you think! The mechanism are the same, but which mechanism turns on depends on the situation. 2. @Sevi Thank you for reading!(It is a little long of a post) Well the only things they could truly bring out is a truth itself. So the options are more limited(Which truth?). I'd like them to show me something magical about the world and therefore myself. Perhaps in a sense discover something brand new or rediscover something brand new. Yes, seeing the truth of the person's action does mean seeing the real motive. Well frankly the picture vibed most with what this post was about and I like to use only photos I took whenever possible. It was a quick intuitive pick. In regards to your question, Yes its important to use truth in a loving way. It is a double edged sword. You can use it to strike at people which overall makes people distance themselves from you and opportunity with it. It is not our place to "purge" people, if they are willing go slow and steady. That being said I do use it in a cutthroat sense if someone around me repeatedly tries to machinate the same trick. On the other side, If you use truth to get to what people's "soul" want and connect with them. Very deep and high conscious conversations and friendships can arise. There is a bit of a difference between a relationship based on high consciousness topics and one based on love although it is of the same nature. Also with using truth, you can become close with anyone regardless of social structures. This absolutely does not mean you ignore social structures and culture, but rather hack at any weakness it possesses.(Some people aren't worth the time to hack through).
  3. @electroBeam Will do!
  4. Hey I had this issue too and see alot of people having the same issue. The problem is not other people, It is you realizing why you have the friends you do(did).... and seeing it was for a shallow superficial reason. It is an opportunity to make much more solid friendships going in knowing why you are friends with them. [Example] This does not mean they have to be into Personal Development, but just knowing you have this certain friend to chat about music. Here is a little thing if you're interested in gathering Actualizing people to become great friends in real life. https://www.facebook.com/groups/RealSociology/?ref=group_cover
  5. You are more consciously reexamining why you socialize... and not liking the results. For years it has been superficial covers to mask insecurities. It really has nothing to do with these people self actualizing or not. There are certain friends for certain things. Know why you are friends with the people that you are. For example, someone may not be into self actualizing but they love music and you love discussing all your favorite music with them. You know why you're friends with them and love/understand the truth of it. This does not mean you won't have superficial talkings but rather you realize it for what it is and just enjoy it.(If you so wish) It seems eventually everyone self actualizing meets this dilemna, their motivations for socializing are questioned. One of two things can happen, You distance yourself from mostly everyone or find yourself enjoying others more intensely.(This has nothing to do with introversion or extroversion but rather if you enjoy a hobby or not). Also most people actually love talking about deep shit whether they realize that or not but you only ever played a superficial role and don't know how to naturally bring up true connections. Share yourself, break down but do so wisely, there is a time and a place for everything. Perhaps focus less on you and more on the other person? That always seems to work. Don't be so quick to judge others, They can be very suprising, even if some don't know it. Some things to think about are/try out(You only need one authentic motivation to enjoy socializing although different Whys yield very different results) - Do I enjoy people for people? Do I enjoy the warmth people bring? Do i enjoy the conversations? Do I enjoy the new experiences? Do I enjoy learning about new people? Discussing my passion? Discussing the world? Disucssing reality? Getting these things off my mind? Forcing myself out of my comfort zone? Potentially finding people to self actualize together? To bring a new world forward? Finding a soul mate? Fascination by how Sociology happens? Have some good memories? Share some hugs? Share a moment? Explore the world? Its time to rethink how we socialize in a higher conscious seeking world. (I know I posted this late, but I feel many can really benefit from this, The advice is all from personal experience)
  6. What an interesting movie. To see Ray Croc start out franchising for the Mcdonalds brothers to scheming his way into owning it slowly but surely. He was ruthless and most of passionate. Gambling what looked to him like the jackpot. Despite his ruthless tactics, He did bring cheap, quick and convenient. It was the industrial revolution of resturants. Many people blame bussinessmen for aggressive tactics but you ever look at history, "The Greats" weren't always that great. From Alexander's sacking to Catherine's annexation of Poland to Ghenghis Khans bloodbath. What makes a good bussinessmen or Ruler does not nessecarily make them a good person. The name of an powerful organization is efficency, productivity, effectiveness, and resource hording. This may not seem all nice and dandy on the surface but all these actions greatly benefit the organization not just from the top. The other flip side of a Ceo who is incompetent is homelessness, starvation, pay cuts, benefits loss, costly products and utilities bankruptcy. For a Ruler, that would be raids, famine, riots, war, civil war, slavery and death. So despite their methods, the greater good of that organization has much to thank them for perhaps even being mildly competent.(Ex:Ivan the Terrible, Nero). Imagine the world without those big evil corporations, Cars would be mythical, Iphones obsolete, Facebook out the window, forget about running water and cheap food? How about a potential famine? Even Inventions aren't so gentle. Think of all the horse breederies that went out of bussiness with Ford's cars or the candle companies with the lightbulb. These things also required resources and it was hellbent on extracting it. This would lead to wars, corruption and coup d tats. Hell even the Greeks would've never accomplished much if it weren't for their slaves. Innovation is ruthless but in the end that is what drives humanity to a better and brighter future. It is not adding on, It is purging.
  7. Throughout the Personal Development scene, A common issue or event is the isolation and distancing from friends and family before self actualization. They claim they can't relate or share how they truly feel to their friends and family. So they isolate themselves believing it better not to be lonely among many and preferably by themselves. Meditation and Self work doesn't nessecarily target socializing but rather reveals your true motivations for socializing, for many it is insecurity and shallowness. In fact Meditation and Self work can and is used to achieving the highest levels of Socializing. Anxiety and Awkwardness can be conquered by being in the moment(Meditation) and being among terribly deep conversations can be achieved through Self Work. The real issue is due to Meditation and Self Work, you realize the friendships you made weren't based on having truly authentic conversations. This does not mean the other person(s) is only talking about self actualization but what is truly on your mind. Insecurities, Goals, Philosophy, History, Art, Poetry, Hobbies Ambition and Relationships. When someone realizes the true nature of the friendship and their own nature, two things tend to happen, They shove their new found values upon the person or hide in a shell. Eventually this tends to lead to a breakage of the relationship. Perhaps nessecary in that time period but ultimately unnessecary in the longview of Self Actualization(I'll explain in a bit). This is one of the Purging parts of Self Actualization. After one realizes one's motivation for their friendships, The re-examination of their motivation can begin. This is a purification. No it does not nessecarily mean avoid common peasants and only be around true geniuses. Unfortunately many prematurely conclude this one way or another. Re-examination means looking at Why? Why do you talk to them? To get your mind off of real issues? To pass time? You don't know anyone else? Comfortable in a pack? Friends of Friends? Scared of going out the buble? From that you must purge or fully confront the nature of your relationships. Even to this day I realize the nature of many of my acquitances is shallow- Ex: Friend of friends, Pass time and Know no one else in that time/place. Realizing Why? that relationship exist is not the start of the issue but rather the beginning of the end. You will naturally seek more stronger and profound Whys like shedding layers of insecurities, Romanticizing about a better world, Mining for existiential reality and implementing your wildest ambitions into the world. This does not mean you don't have chit chat with the lady down the street because it is "subpar" conversation. You realize Why you have that "subpar" conversation and that is what makes it authentic at least in a maitenance standpoint(Maintaining a functioning life), whether that motivation be to be polite, compassionate, an interesting topic or perhaps enjoying the person as a whole. Some new motivations for interacting with normal people are to simply relate, find amusement in the absurdity of human interaction, enjoying interacting with people, enjoying gentle topics, learning something new, sociology and mastering the complicated world of socializing.
  8. Im not saying most of media is spiritual, I'm saying that a large chunk of the popular ones contain it directly or indirectly.
  9. Though most of society lives in ignorance to Personal Development,Expansive Philosophy, and Enlightenment, The amount of references to Enlightenment and Philosophy in movies, tv shows and especially music is absolutely astonishing. Some examples: Sum Zero(That was it right?) from Morrowind- Enlightened Being. Yoda- Based off a Tibetan monk and is referenced to being enlightened. Avatar The Last Airbender- The whole damned show is littered with spirituality from simple wisdom to the deepest. Many 60s and 70s rockbands had strong interests in mysticism, spirituality, and enlightenment like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and Rainbow. Fight Club is without a doubt based on Zen Philosophy and Enlightenment. So what if we all started the first step to collecting bits and pieces of these wisdoms in one place? Those who understand or are even a bit engulfed in media will find advice from beloved characters something that touches deeper in the heart then simple advice. There is a story, there is history, there is soul, there is life in the advice. That is why I've started the first step in having a little library to share and collect this knowledge. If you even have the slightest come by and walk on memory lane Happy Memories! https://www.facebook.com/groups/950585895088116/
  10. I love Dead Poet's Society
  11. @Nahm No what is it about?
  12. @LifeandDeath Um its free lol. You also don't have to order it, Its a Google doc link. Happy Readings!
  13. I actually made a script about this(For a potential video), but it functions as an essay fairly well. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1f-_t9slavMSJnDiR2Y5AKW0fhCwkLC_evKJkFwKHMPQ/edit?usp=sharing
  14. @kuwaynej In personal development, you will be in constant cycles of crisis and bliss
  15. Well one of the earliest Metal bands was Rainbow, they have some very spiritual songs and don't whatsoever sound like a typical Metal band. Ranging from Jesus to Magic to ego. They incorporate instruments from all over the worlds and many different cultural styles. I would say only half of their songs are "metal" as in somewhat of that energy but still terribly different. You will not find them to sound like anything you imagine. They are a very unique and underrated band for what they worth. Game changers. This song is about Jesus but in a storytale kind of format. Feels very much like folk music and not very Metal. This song is about the ego and is more of a metallic sound. It uses alot of middle eastern influence. The song makes you feel like Jesus in the desert with the devil. Also a very interesting twist at the end. This one is an extremely unique song with a very unlifting melody, almost fairy tale like. Would not so ever consider this a metal song. This is a personal favorite, it really reaches a realm of its own.
  16. Not all Roles are negative, Its just the ones that we use to hide ourselves. Ones to hide our true self or perhaps to validate a "self". "Self" meaning a concept. By default the desire to validate a self means we are insecure about this concept. Concepts by default are illusionary. Some roles come about naturally as an expression of our true self. Like a sculptist chiseling a sculpture of himself. It is like a craft. An artpiece. Genuine at heart however that does not mean the role can't unconsciously become corrupted into a mere mechanism to validate ourselves. Feel free to add your opinions, I just wanted to jostle some thoughts down and get some different viewpoints going.
  17. I strongly suggest you read "Start with Why" It is about why some bussinesses attract people to pay ridiculous prices consistantly and become sort of a cult vs. the companies that have to depend on the product price or service itself. It really does fill up that one chunk of almost unexplainable functions of businesses. https://www.amazon.com/Start-Why-Leaders-Inspire-Everyone/dp/1591846447/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1486942366&sr=8-1&keywords=start+with+why
  18. This is a bussiness book technically but it isn't a typical one which deals with how and what a bussiness is. It truly explains how some leaders with no real experience in bussiness-Steve Jobs, Bill Gates etc are able to spiral a movement. It is precisely because it is a movement and not just a bussiness that its power is so great. Start with Why shows how Bussinesses that run on Why they started as a bussiness succeed massively against even popular bussiness opinion. It is as much a psychology and philosophy book as it is a bussiness. Simon is able to connect so many dots in this book, much like how visionary leaders are able too. This book I believe is even better then "Think and Grow Rich." It goes indepth to the utter roots of a bussiness foundation and not only that but how the roots could be damaged. It logically explains the illogical nature of bussiness and society. STRONG, STRONG Recommendation for this book. Most aspiring entrepeneurs don't understand that one big chunk in bussiness, How it works(Bussiness) is through Why it is! Almost unexplainable really but that is what this brilliant book is for. https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=start+with+why&rh=n%3A283155%2Ck%3Astart+with+why
  19. The 3 Perceptions/Perceivers of Issues Whys- The dreamers, Creators, Philosopher and wanderers, to solve the issue of suffering, they must seek Why their is suffering- Attachment and why their is attachment. They seek the source. Hence why so many are creators as the source is where creation comes from. Understanding is their freedom and their weapon. The roots are funneled out and massacred. The Hows-The engineers, in action person, hard workers, artisans. They seek how things work to solve the issue, How does attachment work?- Illusionary thoughts separated by splits of nothingness, cloud consciousness. They tend must find a way how to clear those clouds. They wish to understand how the clouds form and solve the issue within the perspective of functions. The stem is crushed, possibly destroying the plant as a whole. The Whats- The average person, they only see what they believe is in front of them(a deluded one without realizing the delusion). They eat what is given. They see what the problem is?- Attachment. So they seek to destroy what is there, yet the fruit regrows every year.. They cut the fruit without realizing the roots nor the stem. They will receive the most suffering when faced with such. The plant has the greatest strength to regrow under the Perception of What. On another view would be if they were to refine their view of What is truly there. In an anology compared to the analogy made about "They eat what is given", Those with a refined view "Know what it is they are given to eat". Scrambled Notes: Of course this is all still in a largely theoritical state, even more so then my "Sensing the Karmic Outcomes of People" https://www.actualized.org/forum/topic/7231-sensing-the-karmic-outcomes-of-people/. Nevertheless, I believe this is a solid theory, well really it just ties in a few older theories plus ties it up with an organized theory.(yes I'm aware I should be using the term hypothesis!) Some of the ideas for this came from "Start with Why", a book about how the bussinesses that understand Why they exist prosper dramatically more than the Whats, Also from when Leo mentioned in his videos about seeking Why something worked(If you understood why it is, you wouldn't be playing victim to it), and Buddha's words on how all suffering comes from Desire. After connecting a dot in "Start with Why" and Leo's message, I realized that to solve and transform all issues, it must be done at the Why Perception. Buddha's word on Desire was seemed like a What statement as Why does Desire cause suffering? Then I found that the Why of that to be Ignorance. Ignorance would be the Why answer and Desire would be the What. Illusion would be the How answer. This also further interested me on how and why people function as they do in this logic. Accidently I found their natural perception to be how their careers and functions would occur. On a side note, The solutions to life are sometimes connecting dots instead of just finding them. Hope you enjoyed this little insight
  20. Hello there, I'm a teen and I would like to know some ideas on how to meet other aspiring entrepeneurs in the area. Thank you
  21. @Live Life Liam I'm searching for an inperson kind of a thing. Thanks though
