  1. I wish someone would answer this.
  2. [Breathe of a Dragon] What does one think of when he thinks of a Dragon breathing? Majestic, mystical, terrifying, destructive? Dragons are completely beautiful in their own way, they are so capable of providing warmth and defence with their breath yet can simultaneously burn whole cities. Now let us talk about something much more destructive yet in its own way constructive, the breathe of a human. How much hate, suffering, ignorance do you think you cause to the people around you? Sure you probably have somewhat of an estimate, a little negativity here and there, some blunt hate once in a full moon; What about the real cause of suffering you cause, your ignorance. How much terrible advice have you given out? How many people did you lead to believe you're doing well? How many of those fools are following your trail of tears? None of this has to be conscious decisions, It's almost a byproduct of your very breathe and frankly indirectly it is. You thought the suffering you cause family and friends was bad?? Please! Your every breathe causes literal ripples of hell across the globe. How many bled for chocolate you ate? How many slaved for the gadgets you consume? How many melted for the minerals you play with? How many trees fell just to be thrown away at your whim? How many oceans lay fallow because of your greed? How many concentration lead lives of chicken did you inflict? How many were shot for the oil that sustains every aspect of your life? How many fishermen sat hungry from the pollution you caused? How many hurricanes were caused from your trail? How much did it cost to sustain your breath? How many burned from the dragon's breath?
  3. @Mad Max I have no suggestions, I'm merely pointing out the wieght of your existance.
  4. @Serotoninluv Quite frankly I don't know if theres a difference.
  5. Note- I in this article should be read as "I" in third person. It will allow you to see more clearly what I'm speaking of. In the third paragraph, It is relatively written in first person due to convenience as "I" is still an illusion story consisting of the body, mind, itself, the past and future. Just after a short meditation and as a byproduct, an inquiry, Consciousness has been noticing the ensnarement of Mara. The tricks used to entrap consciousness in vortexes of illusions. Mara's greatest trick is having consciousness believe in the illusion of first person. I being the "first person". For what is I? I is a pattern recognition mechanism of what was socially drilled to be "you." So when I says "I am suffering" how can I possibly suffer? It just like Trump on the television, is a sound, an energy passing through. Yet what is the difference between Trump screaming on the television and I screaming in your mind? I would have you believe that you are it. So when I says "I am suffering" you believe you are "I" and therefore you suffer. Like a self fulfilling prophecy. How can sounds possibly suffer?? Thats ridiculous. Then who does? The only one who possibly can, Consciousness itself. The only perceiver of these foreign substances.(senses etc). It was during the inquiry that I started talking out loud, Saying what consciousness realized subtly but not so fully. This is a great technique to break through the illusion of I, at least for a bit. It makes consciousness realize how truly absurd what I am doing. Such subtle intuitions such as "You think you are I but that is absurd, I am a voice in your mind, How could I possibly be you?" "Isn't it ironic that I am helping you defeat me but at the same time, you can't trust what I say because it is a trap within itself." "Therefore every olive branch I give you is also a declaration of war, It can't be any other way." "For it is through me you process much of your knowledge and wisdom, an illusion." "I am the sword you must use against me as the path to realizing the illusion requires illusions as well both directly and indirectly." In other words as Leo was saying, scaffolds. Somewhere during the inquiry, an interesting insight came up as it was further realized that 3d doesn't exist and the default is living within a painting. So within that regards, the body reached out for a cup across the room. In that moment, It truly did feel like the illusion could be broken or at least destroy itself into another illusion where I would have the cup in my hand. Unfortunately the illusion did not break however it reminded me of childhood. How I was obsessed with magic, I realized why I was obsessed with magic. To break the illusion. That was why, all along. That was what made magic so magically.
  6. @Serotoninluv I write "I" in third person much like they, it them. You is consciousness, beyond the concepts. Well this is as far as I gotten, It is a relatively minor insight or series of it but I think it has larger ripple effects.
  7. [The economy that is our mind] Recently I've been diving into the blackhole of theory that is economics. I always found the modern economy to be fragile yet remarkedly held up so stably. So many conflicting schools of economics and ideologies, It would take one fool to crash the whole thing should they be the head of Federal Reserve. We are at a delicate sustainable balance, threatened only by the environment. The more and more I read into it, the more and more I realized it's mostly a thick layer of ideas engulfing a tiny ball of real products. The economy stems from real products being produced yet credit allows even more to be produced. Credit isn't real, It is just trust in future repayment. Credit is really just concepts. It is like a lie that becomes a self fulfilling statement. However, the more credit becomes bigger and bigger than the actual amount of items, The closer the lie is to popping. All the credit(aka promises to reimburse) eventually becomes exposed to how there isn't enough products to fulfill all the demand artificially created by credit. The lie collapses in the face of cold reality. Our minds are much like this, If you think of ideas and thoughts as credit. The ideas and thoughts must be rooted in reality(experience) however like credit, It can expand faster than rate of real experience. Thoughts become self fulling statements on their rise as the idea you have is essentially a credit to purchase something real(experience). Think about it, every idea you have, you want to more or less happen in reality but it isn't reality; simply a trust that investing in this thought will create that reality. Isn't credit the same thing? You give out credit, trust to acquire a product(concept). Your thoughts create your reality when you invest in them more or less. However once there is too many thoughts and conflicting ideas, The trust in yourself much like the economy collapses. The depression begins, either in economics or psyche. Sorry that was long and drawn out but if you think of your mind as an economy, It may serve a better way to manage the affairs of the mind. The similarities are shocking. On another note, the economy may actually be a direct manifestation of society's mind. At least indirectly, it is not possible to have a modern economy without concepts. Also for those who had the courage to read through so much, I just gave you a lesson in basic economics and perhaps now basic psychology. Your time wasn't wasted, thank you
  8. {This is a series of thoughts and feelings on the guests and the topics I have on my podcast} I always did try to have interesting persons and most of all topics on the show. This one was an interesting catch. So many phases, so many dimensions in such a short span of time. From kpop, to goth, to veganism, to drawing and trying out all the flavors of the rainbow. It really bought one burning question to the front. How many cultures and tastes does one have to try to find themselves? Are there those that constantly swim in the blackhole of this? Of course those that swim in this blackhole are more respectable than those who swim in the blackhole of pretending to be normal that is society. Even those who seemingly found themselves tend to stick to one or two odd activities. I have great respects for the pioneers of the extremes of culture. Some travel the physical world, others travel their personalities. It was a pleasure to have Danielle on, To sample the mind of such a culture pioneer is a priviledge not many have or simply fear to have.
  9. A look into how we are the Daedric Princes of our realm, recent happenings in the country, what core values are held by political partiesm What a trip to Chicago was like, and some thoughts on religions. This is a new format which focuses on tackling hard questions with an amusing outlook. How well does this style get the point across? Was it entertaining? Did you learn something? What could be tweaked? Would you share this with a friend? This was a essentially a test run, I hope to discuss more philosophical topics from my blog/group(In the signature)
  10. @Joseph Maynor I did not plan to philosophize about a good portion of the article. Also when I was concepting this, I was doing exactly what I was talking about. It was a bit of a mindfuck. I was doing just as much as I was thinking and that is what was so special about this article. This wasn't some rigid formula conceptualizing, It all came naturally and everything was discovered on the spot. I would say it was art if not for the fact most of it was just discovering rather than creating. Also I'm not sure why you're mentioning how much conceptualization was as half the article was about how hording knowledge(Hence librarians could arguably be the wisest if that were true) is useless and intelligence is the discernment of it. The purging, To cut through, To see through(Hence the cheese cutting photo). I made a deliberate point to say intelligence is not concepts but the power to see through it.(Direct Experience). Much of the article was also bashing the idea of conceptualization as intelligence rather then the use/discernment of such concepts aka insights. Yes, it is foolish to confuse the map with the earth but it is a great tool to use. Insights are the realization of where spots on the map are in reality or spots in reality are in the map. Insights are the discerned concepts on the map, They revise it to a more accurate point. When did this article imply falling into the mind matrix? It was about breaking through it. Also this was not an analysis of some learned thing, It was a contemplation in its own right abeit accidently. Wherevers you speak of using the conceptual marketplace to realize personal development. I was simply pointing out that the knowledge of how the overall karmic marketplace(Both doing and thinking) works would allow one to manipulate it to ones whim with due considerations for the rules of counterbalancing. Examples include political connections counter heinus crimes, Experience covering up crime, Humility allowing to never trip over oneself(in any project) etc. You read this post in the complete opposite way it was intended too and make a bit too much assumptions because of or therefore from so. I actually agree with much of your points.
  11. [The One Sin, Ignorance] In my post about karma, I described karma much as dominos and why if someone did an action, that it may not catch up to them as another action they had done cancelled it out. This is not a good cancelling out bad, It is not so black and white. This is say intelligence covering up your murder, inexperience crushing your dreams, and most of all ignorance, blinding you from seeing the karmic economy. Yes it is impossible to track every little decision we create but it is possible to strategically plan the vital decisions. The only question is, Do we know what are the arteries of the world that we truly wish to happen? From this question, we tend to think "If only I knew where and what to focus on." This implies one thing, knowledge, wisdom and therefore intelligence. The greatest artery of life is already found. Then what exactly is intelligence? Is it endless memorization of words and facts? That would actually be ignorance as you are root word- ignoring why, what, when, and how those words and facts are. A librarian could arguably hoard knowledge but what does it say about his intelligence. Then if the hoarding of knowledge is not intelligence, what is? Well for this we will need to discern some knowledge. If you take a look at "knowledge", What is associated with it? memorization, quantity of knowing, and hoarding. What comes to mind when you think of "wisdom"? discernment, understanding, action and the most insightful world- insight. Sight is written in the word insight! It may possibly imply "seeing in" as the "in" in "insight" probably does not mean "not." Seeing is considered intelligence, It could also be called/seen as(Irony!!) discerning, to understand, to cut through. If none of you noticed yet, While I was talking about this subject, I have also literally done what I spoke of in this paragraph. So if intelligence is seeing, What is seeing? Is it the image? If not then it must be the consciousness of the image itself! Quite frankly I had no intention that this would be the direction of this article, It was originally intended to point out how intelligence of the karmic marketplace would allow yourself to essentially manipulate it to your whim such as using intelligence to counterbalance your crimes, charisma to cover your lies, generousity to counter your mistakes or money to counter your unrealistic dreams. Yet here we are, discerning what exactly is the greatest karma of all, on the materialistic level to the absolute level.
  12. @Nahm Can't tell if you mean this in a bad way or not. Its more realization as I go then making it up.
  13. @Dodo Thank you, I'm not fully sure what you're implying but my guess would be self awareness.
  14. @How to be wise It boils down to discernment.
  15. [Gift of Empathy] Often times I see people complain about how sensitive they are or frustrated with empathy in general. But what is empathy? Empathy is the level of consciousness of emotions, usually magnified by other humans. Most people are unwilling to face this onslaught of life and instead prefer a more numbed zombified version of emotions. It is true, Empathy can be rather deadly, but that depends where you point the sword. Those who lack harmony(Notice I didn't say control) often subcome to what their emotions and therefore thoughts, wish to believe. They are in fact in a civil war for control over themselves. Control is exactly the problem, They aren't willing to fully experience their emotions without being fully deluded by them. They are essentially stabbing themselves with empathy but what if that sword could be used to defend, slice or perhaps rally men? There was something I found very interesting when reading about Steve Jobs; It was said that Steve Jobs was a sensitive man and through that he knew how to hurt people(Slice). How did he do this? He recognized himself in others, He saw parts of his life in people's presentation and actions. He also knew how to motivate crowds, how to inspire, how to strike the hearts of man(Rally). Another interesting aspect I found was in no more than the good old bible; King Soloman when he was going to be made King asked God not for wealth, armies, or even wisdom but the power to read the hearts of man. If one can read the hearts of man, he can predict all the moves to made(Defend). Empathy is seen as a weak womenly quality in modern society but it is the mark and the weapon of great leaders.
  16. Charisma not aggression!
  17. [The Hidden Answer] Many times when we ask a question, we'll expect an answer. That question is always to ourselves; Afterall, It is us who wants the answer not the questioned. Even when we receive an answer, It is us who answers if the given answer is the answer we truly seek. But how does one decide if the answer is the answer we want? You see, all answers are emotions, Does the emotion line up with what we believe? is there a scent of truth to it? There is no such thing as an objective answer within this perspective as all answers are decided by -us, by what we currently believe as true. Do you really think it is the physicist that decides if an answer is true? We may outsource our answers but we can never outsource our decision of it, being the true answer. Answers are therefore inherently unbounded by language at its core however language may obscure or collaborate with our emotions. In simple answer equations like "Is a cat a fish?", It is a simple matter of logic which collaborates minorly with our emotions; emotions being the approval stamp. Alternatively, If that answer was outsourced to anybody, It would be a matter of ethos. Our answer to that answer will be entirely dependent on how we perceive that person.(Emotion) Some answers can however never be found within the limits of language. These are the greatest answers of our lives, afterall if they could be simply done away with a sentence or two, Would they be the greatest answers? What do I mean exactly? Say if you were to ask "What is the meaning of life?" I could say some dumb statement like "Enjoy yourself." What does it matter what I say? You wouldn't of truly felt it, believed it, understood it nor experienced what that truly meant. Perhaps the logical answer was technically right, but you're just lying to yourself if you don't actually understand it.
  18. Enjoy, do wild things, do calming things, Enjoy. Do things that you're too scared too! Enjoy those things. Theres a reason your inner child isn't present isn't there?
  19. {Video Version Below} [All I do is....] During my trip to Florida, I was noticing little defence mechanisms that I did. From attempting to squat away mosquitos, stereotyping strangers to danger or safe, holding onto the rollercoaster restraints and scanning shallow water for alligators. These were of course little and even normal mechanisms however they made me think why was I being paranoid about nonsense. So I watched my other actions, noticing how most of my actions were pleasure and fear based. It was after reruning several fear mechanism situations, a little thought came about, "Everything I do is to survive." This wasn't an awing thought but rather a frustrated thought. It was a few seconds later that I realized the truth of what I just thought, Everything "I"(Ego) does is to survive. It was like third and first person came together and realized they were each other.(Which has and will continue to be used as both third and first person) Of course the other half of what I does is seek pleasure. If you take a closer look it is still very much survival. Pleasurably I seek food, water, shelter, safety and sex, Ultimately survival. It is in rare moments when I act against my own will or ride with a certain "greater than myself." This is called passion, vision, righteousness, beauty and love (explained another day perhaps) which is ironically seen as intuition despite when you resist it may be confused as counterintuitive. Ironically this selflessness actually may not just be the ultimate survival mechanism, but the ultimate thrival mechanism as well. Innovation, Progress and Creation truly happens when humans follow this gut feeling of "something greater than myself." Books, statues, cars, Facebook, Microsoft, Disney, companies, countries, The United States.
  20. [An understanding, An appreciation] It all started when someone on a post that mentioned watching the breath as part of an enlightenment technique. That was sometime yesterday? Intuitively and in a state of chaos with myself, I knew their was something to it. As much as I made a point about this technique, i might've done 2 hours of this in total. This watching of the breath is so grounding, so blissful(maybe you won't notice how it is at first), It reminds us the simplicity of life, to just be, Exist, without need, It is the embodiment of what you think when "Zen" comes to your mind. Even amidst your mindgames, just listening to your breath releases the hell of it. So much that I fell asleep amidst watching my breath. The nap was one of the most refreshing naps I've had and when I awoke, I found no mindgame to be had. Well after that I went out with some pals, They directly or indirectly made me think of a few things about my life. Am I manipulating others? Am I lying to others? Is this moralistic? Under what conditions isn't it? Well these things were always on my mind, but I was chasing myself in circles trying to find the answer instead of stepping back to see the picture.(As a result of the higher "zen" state) I understood what was important to me, what mattered and what didn't and I didn't have to prove to others I was a decent human being: I was all that was needed, not to be simplified in terms of good or bad. You know what's the crazy part? This was all done half subconsciously as a result of just existing. It was really when I began listening to semi meditative music that I began to understand how beautiful life is. How everything regardless of if it was wrong or right was necessary in teaching me the way of my life. How wonderful and amazing the human beings I've been given the privilege to be with. How even those who crossed me were needed to show me my path in life ultimately. The world and those I held dear were so beautiful in that moment. It made me want to express my gratitude and appreciation in fullest. This little event reminded me of a trip that sent ripples across my life many months ago. Besides the beautiful and godly music, This was a rather subtle event, It was how subtle it was that made it so beautiful. Not all the greatest things lie in the final prize.
  21. I find the night time much more suitable. It is calming, silent and at ease. Besides, when you wake up, you'll feel aware, awakened(epiphany awakened), grateful and at ease. I only slept for 3 hours without a note of drowziness. I think an interesting way to solve this issue is if you meditate with your eyes closed or open.
  22. [[The Science of Magic] I've always found the subject of magic rather interesting. What does it mean? At its core, It means to influence the universe by will. Essentially out of abyss. Magic to some extent can and is therefore be practiced by most people. Some people are more proficient at certain kinds of magic than others. There is an underappreciation for tradition "everyday" magic. For one it is an absolute miracle that artists can will their creation into psychical form relatively rapidly or some charismatic men can bend whole empires to their whim. Some claim magic doesn't exist; but those are the idiots that use it aren't they? It is simply will into existence; Who is to say that science can't be considered magic? They are two viewpoints of the same object, form. What do you think of when you imagine magic? Some kind of energy or element being casted out right? By that definition, isn't the common electric eel a mystical creature? It isn't considered magic since science understands it within their viewpoint. For godsake, even the formed universe is born out of magic. What else do you call something formed out of the abyss? This is also the definition of Mysticism. All of science is only possible because of magic. Science is an ironic attempt at understanding by denying what magic means and is. Those who understand what magic is have little trouble accepting the universe came out of nothing whilst those who deny such a possibility find it much harder to accept. Science is even a core part of how science is done. A will to discover (x) is always what will produce the results of the research. Someone researching neuroscience is most likely going to greatly ignore any ideas that don't correspond with the target subjects such as psychics. Even in scientific research, we are beginning to find very unlogical schemes. Light reacts to consciousness. Literally reacts to your consciousness of it!! With due consciousness and skill, wouldn't it be possible to bend it? Atoms can teleport to different locations in quantum physics. So why I ask, Why is "magic" such a trigger word to the rationalist?
