@primzolo PewDiePie is most definitely NOT yellow, like you yourself said. I'm not going to watch all of his videos to make a really high level analysis of his development, but one thing is for sure: he is not a good example of a yellow person.

@brovakhiin How and where and who can then have a meaningful conversations, if " x amateurs talking about x and sharing their biased feeling-opinions" is not good enough? Are we not all here to learn?

@Elisabeth I didn't describe my current stage of development on purpose, as that would lead people just giving advice to and idea of me. It too difficult to accurately describe all the details of how I'm emotional here and intellectual there and what do I think of this and that... I guess one should not overthink this and just see where things go thanks for your reply

Simple. This happened to you: -
Random question not worthy of its own thread. I see the importance of not trying to rush or skip stages. I find evaluating myself as any color difficult, but I can say that I see the limitations of green quite brightly, even though I cant say I have transitioned "trough" it as a "phase". I deeply resonate with the idea of "seeing reality as it is, not as I think it is", which could be one way to summarize yellow in one sentence. I have some green ideals, but I'm not passionate about them in a way that would make me join a protest or an activist group. How to succesfully transition stages without building an identity out of the ideas and perspectives of that particular stage first, just to see the limitations of that stage and start deconstructing that identity? Am I already stage yellow but confused? Do I have to become and SJW just to see that it does not make me happy or change the world? As a contribution: in my opinion the BEST documentary ever made. Very highly yellow. A must see for every self-actualizer. Consciousness, existence, humanity, the eco-system, highly different cultures and customs, world problems and the systems where those problem sprung out of, all displayed beautifully from a non-polarized perspective. As a film enthusiast I find this documentary pure art.

@Erlend K Objective language breaks down when it tries to describe the non-objective. When the teacher points to the moon, the student looks at the finger. The knots of language drive the seeker crazy, and sometimes it's necessary so one can finally give up and REALLY look what is there. That seems to be the point of self-inquiry: to make you face the fact that you cant grasp or "get" it, you can only fool yourself by forcing old paradigms into the practice. -

@ajasatya also this, but gf/bf will always be an external source of happiness and thats quite natural and normal. How many people can honestly say their happiness is exactly the same before a partner has come in their life and after they have come. Difference, how ever, is how toxic/non-toxic that happiness is to your internal happiness, like you said. -

What your post is really about is the mind having anxiety about itself. Everything you describe as a problem is a problem of the self. What is it? The real problem is that you make the functions of the mind to be yourself. The illusory self is then made responsible for the activity of the mind, that the illusory self then judges and gets ashamed from. The mind whips it self as a punishment for what it is. It is not you who judges, it's the mind having a thought that gets labeled as judgement. Did you plan having that judgement? Did you plan having feelings of jealousy? No, because you have no free will over that. You cant plan your minds content, and you cant plan on planning on stuff. It's an infinite regress, that sort of proves you have zero control over the content of your mind. So. The judgements and jealousy are there. Your job as a human being is not to try to not judge or ever be jealous, but to recognize those thoughts as what they are. If you fail to do that, you then derive a sense of self from those thoughts and then act in a negative way in your environment. This how you "kill" the ego, you recognize things for what they are and not what you think they are. What you crave is to change your self to match your ideal idea of your self. This is all delusion. Where are your problems located right NOW? Nowhere. They are fetched when the minds wants to fool itself. The circumstances and essentially your life feeds into the mind, forming the soup from which thoughts arise. No matter how hard it is, you must recognize when you are feeling sad or depressed or anxious and ask yourself: where is this coming from, really. What is here? What is not here? Your practises help you to connect with the present moment, and that helps you to recognize what is true and what is there as an illusion. Your judgements 100% reveal those parts of yourself that you dont accept, also called the shadow. You judge customers who buy sugaey drinks, so you have not accepted the part of you thats is/could be fat in your opinion. There is awareness of your weight/looks, but the negative aspect is dealt with judgement of others. Try this as an excercise: write down every reocurring judgement you make. You are actually compiling a list of the parts of yourself that you cannot face in yourself. You dont have to become fat in order to integrate that into your awareness, but you need awareness of that part of your shadow. Living a life of everyday fight over the shadows is hell and suffering. Research into healing as well. But remember: essentially, truely, you are whole and nothing is missing. See trough you mind, dont fight your mind. -

Romantic and half-true, but not the whole truth. What is set in motion indeed tends to stay in motion (and even physics agrees :D) but only one bumb on the road is enough for a permanent halt. -
Great quote Don't challenge me to an architecture dance battle, it will be too modern for you to undestand.

You dont have to think to make music sound good. The good stuff goes straight by your mind into your experience, so it connects with the source quite directly. That plus all the emotional stuff that goes with music, without forgetting the intellectual side also, that musicians and sound orientated people get about music. The intellectual goes without thinking too, it's like extra layer to the direct effortless experience. "ahh i love the sound of this song (because the x y z technical thing works so well here and there)!"

You are not loveless, it's just that you need time and work to work with your emotions. Everyone except psychopaths have an infinite potential for love. Your set point for it is in your particular position. Don't make up limiting beliefs about yourself, they are just thought stories and defence mechanisms.

@purerogue There are no prerequisites to enlightenment like having no money or living in isolation. This is a trick of the mind. Ironically, your statement is an idea about enlightenment to which you identify yourself as and thusly cling on to. All MY ideas about it are my identifications and clingings as well. Enlightenment is the simple remembering or recognition of what you are. Are you more or less yourself if you have a dollar in your pocket? Are you closer to the truth with no coins in your pocket? Refusing possessions and the "mundane" life simply removes distractions out of your mind so you have more time and energy to practise and concentrate. The practises attune you to the truth, but they in themselves are not required. Not required, but necessary. It's a paradox and a feature. You dont need to practice being yourself, but you do need to pracrice in orded to recognize yourself.

Is this advice coming from your own enlightenment experience, or from some other teacher? All things said above are waaaaaay easier said than done. If it were so simple, we all would be letting go of fears, letting go of ego etc. all day non stop, it sound just great! But it isn's so easy or black and white. To do it, there are lots of books and videos to read and watch. There is a few megathreads in the meditation subforum.

So many posts on this forum are generalizing the whole poster/lurker base of actualized.org into a one group, to which people "rant" and "tell how it is". There are multiple levels of actualization here, from trolls to very highly actualized. Learn, contribute and give advice. Dont tell.

I typed into youtube "what is ego" to get some clarification on what it is and how it works, as I intuited it plays a huge role in my life. Turns out it WAS my life.

Psychedelics are not for everyone. You can take so big of a dose that you cant resist, as suggested, or you can wait until the curiosity to do a proper dose is too great to be put aside. Either way you will trip eventually. Forcing it too soon will influence your set (set/setting) and it might have unwanted consiquences.
