  1. Before you fast, exercise and sauna are better ways to get the ball rolling. Fasting: 3 Days End dinner at day -1 with high fat low carb then only water with salt and potassium and go for walks. Refeed doesnt matter at 3 days
  2. Too Much Portein causes Kidney stress, especially when NOT paired with sufficient Carbohydrates, because excess Protein is metabolized by the kidnesys into glucose. As a byproduc you produce acidity.

  4. Yup! Its just a matter of changing your taste. Try eating carrots when you get cravings. They contain some healthy sugars and you cant overeat on them. Switch to 100% Dark chocolate, even when you dont like it. Thats your new reality. Bonus: If you really cant go to sleep because you are mentally dying, make a giant mug of hot chocolate with Milk or Soy Milk. That will sedate your brain and you sleep like a baby. Quitting something which triggers dopamine cold turkey is very very tricky. Ask the cocaine lovers. Its always good to replace habit with habit, thats why I mention the carrots and the dark chocolate. Could also be you are just hungry because you eat to little real food so your body craves more carbohydrates. In that case, cook stuff and put ready meals in the fridge in tupperware.

  6. @Michael569 Interesting stuff whats the pro side of Phytic Acid ? It is so negatively charged that it binds Cations (e.g. important Minerals) so they cant be absorbed. They bind on sugar which is not really a good thing if you eating a conscious diet, then they got some anti cancer stuff which is always sketchy, maybe the best effect is anti-inflammatory properties on the gut, but how that works and if it offsets the mineral binding effect, I dont know. Regarding vitamins: Vitamin basically means essential organic compound used by human body to do stuff which is good. Consider the fact that we know Idk about 2% of molecules which are in food or smth like that? Thats your answer to the dark ages.   13. Whats fascinating for you about empirical research? Maybe if you have your own lab and do some break-through research in neuroscience discovering new neuronal pathways or whatever, that allows you to be intuitive and creative at the same time. But I would say 80% of research done is just manual field work.
