  2. Invent the next best thing after condom lol Serious - I have been thinking of developing a noble life purpose but the thing is that, its actually aiming too high....the truth about realization of life purpose lies in how much engaged you are towards it, if I wish for 8 abs of body and love to eat shit, then no matter how noble I can think to turn my body into, I will not get there. In short, you gotta have a drive towards it, and you gotta be creative and unstoppable to create it.
  3. Yes, people need to be smart about it. Basically what you need to study as far as I can think atm as you grow up apart from fundamentals such as grammer and maths. - Understanding of the world both in terms of history that involved major events, people and spiritual. This will make children understand of what is our world, our history and the reality. - Understanding of yourself ( your psychology & and spirituality ) thoughts, feeling and emotions. This will help people to be self aware, understand others as well as understand major mass behavior, such as religion and wars. - Socialization and communication skills. This will make children to be comfortable with others and crowd, attract female/male partners, and be able to put their thoughts in words and communicate effectively. - Understanding the money game Understanding the importance of money, and how the business world operates. And, the need to develop their financial life in the world. - Strategic planning Understanding of themselves and the world will provide the ground of what would they like to do in the world and how much they would like to earn, then they have to use creativity to design and build their life in the way that fits them. Hmm, I will think more having a terrible headache as of now, I am very serious about talking my life to this path, I would surely love people to add stuff to this.
  4. Been working towards it so far it is not specific but the idea is Field - Education "I want to understand what all children need to learn to grow up to be successful, happy, understanding and peaceful individuals" Then design a course and open up a education institute. Now, this takes into consideration both concrete and abstract such as core school subjects and habits, values and belief. I strongly feel the education system needs to make alot of changes, we should be taught "self awareness" and "critical thinking" since young age, education is suppose to make us prepare for the world but what we end up learning is B.S. What are the thoughts of people here?
  5. Anyone on the journey of enlightenment accessing their past live memories?
  6. James Rodriguez the young world famous talent join Real Madrid not so many years ago. He decided to impress the coach, he will reach the training session half hour early. Upon arriving the training ground, he is shocked. What did he see? Ronaldo, who is among the extreme top of players in football was already there and was training. Now he doesn't need to prove anything to anybody, he was alrdy at the top. Then, why does he come before even the early arriving trainee. When, I read this my mind was blown. Ronaldo do not need to go to training early, but when you read a book like mastery you understand that master like Ronaldo, train for the sake of practice, they don't care how long, they love it, they want to grow more and more.
  7. What is a soul? How to best define it? Does a soul have a personality of its own? What I mean here is, just like people are different at the level of their mind dew to their learning and personality, are two people different at the level of their soul dew to certain traits? What is a spirit? The difference between soul, spirit and pure consciousness. Why are we born? Is reincarnation true? If so, why are we reincarnated again and again? Do moksha ( end of reincarnation ) a true? Thank You.
  8. Have been searching the net and found some of the answers. the Mundaka Upanishad (3.1.9) explains that the living being is the soul, and that: “The soul is atomic in size and can be perceived by perfect intelligence. This atomic soul is situated within the heart, and spreads its influence all over the body of the embodied living entities. When the soul is purified from the contamination of the five kinds of material air, its spiritual influence is exhibited.” My Thoughts Beautiful, so the soul is as small as an atom, not like the energy in the human shape as shown in movies. It is situated within the heart and spread its influence all over the body, so this basically hints that it is more than blood that is going through the body, the heart is performing its function to regulate blood but underneath much more is happening, this make me curious as to what the soul is doing to channel its influence throughout the body like heart. It is further explained that we should know that which pervades the entire body by consciousness is indestructible. No one is able to destroy the imperishable soul. Only the material body of the eternal living entity is subject to destruction. . . For the soul there is never birth nor death. Nor, having once been, does he ever cease to be. He is unborn, undying and eternal. He is not slain when the body dies or is killed. . . As a person puts on new garments, giving up old ones, similarly, the soul accepts new material bodies, giving up the old and useless ones. My Thoughts So, the soul just is and is forever but then why does it go through different bodies? What is the reason for the journey of the soul from body to body? The Katha Upanishad relates that within the body, higher than the senses and the sense objects, exists the mind. More subtle than the mind is the intelligence, and higher and more subtle than the intellect is the self. That self is hidden in all beings and does not shine forth, but is seen by subtle seers through their sharp intellect. My Thoughts Layer of human being - Body - Senses - Mind - Intellect ( what is this ?) - True Self/ No Self From this we can understand that within the gross physical body, composed of various material elements, such as earth, air, water, etc., there is also the subtle body composed of the finer subtle elements of mind, intelligence and false ego. The psychic activities take place within the subtle body. It is also within the subtle body wherein exist the memories of past lives, however deep they may be. Yet, the living being has his spiritual form that is deeper than this subtlety, otherwise he could not have repeated births. A person actually sees his spiritual self as well as the presence of the Supreme Being when he perceives that both the gross and subtle bodies have nothing to do with the pure, spiritual self within. Therefore, it could be asked that since we are separate from the gross and subtle bodies, why do we so strongly identify with the material body? It is explained that though the material body is different from the soul, it is because of the ignorance due to material association that one falsely identifies oneself with the high and low bodily conditions. My Thoughts Alright, I do believe in reincarnation and past life, and now this text tells me that we can have access to the memories of your past lives. Yo Leo, have you accessed your past lives yet? So, to summarize, the soul is a particle of consciousness and bliss in its purified state of being. It is not material in any way. It is what departs from the body at the time of death and, in the subtle body, carries its mental impressions, desires and tendencies, along with the karmic results of its activities from one body to another. To understand and perceive this self, which is our genuine spiritual identity, is the real goal of life. Such a realization relieves one of further material existence. As it is explained, those who have purified their consciousness, becoming absorbed in spiritual knowledge and absolving any impurities in the mind, are liberated from karma that frees them from any future births. They are free from any more births in the material world and are delivered to the spiritual atmosphere. How to do this is the ultimate accomplishment of human existence. My Thoughts If soul is a particle of consciousness, then what other particles constitute consciousness? So the personality of the soul would be related to the mental impressions, desires and tendencies, and karma that it takes away after death of the body? According the author and blogger "Stephan Khapp" - to understand and perceive this self a.k.a enlightenment is the real goal of our life. - It will free yourself from the birth cycle. Is anyone familiar with the work of "stephan kapp", should I order and read his book on vedas understanding and enlightenment?
  9. Thank you, The core reason for understanding this is to understand why we are born, if reincarnation happens again and again and for a reason, that we have to work towards in this life, then I will definitely want to work towards it. Edit: I need some guidance, some basic answers to my question and resource materials that I can go through.
  10. I would say holistic as you would really be able to explain things to them in their own language. You will be able to relate with them. This is the reason, I have started to follow Leo.

  14. In short, Islam is surrendering yourself to god, which is in a way achieving enlightenment. Now, Namaz is a spiritual practise must for all muslim, as an exercise to surrender yourself to god to be performed five times a day. It show resemblance to yoga in way, example to perform namaz you have to go through various asanas while reciting quranic verses, whose core essence would be to surrender and recognize god as the ultimate in life. My question is, if someone is aware of enlightenment, aware of surrendering themselves to god in a way, we do right now, then perform this since early teens, every day, five times a day, throughout the course of his life. Then, can he attain enlightenment? If so, is it worth to investigate and look at namaz as a yoga? Also, Now I am beginning to see sunat ( the way he use to live ) of Muhammed in his life. Which are forms of various yoga like karma. My mom tells me to drink water slowly, eat slowly, etc etc follow the sunat of Muhammed, so thats basically mindfulness. Thoughts?

  20. Alright, first of all I have no idea if Mohammed was enlightend or not, I am focussing on three points, point one is what Islam is, point two is what it offers to people, and point three is in what time it offered these things to people a.k.a what the world was at that point of time. Before, I say something, I do not have indepth understanding of all the three points, I have just graced the surface. But, I believe there are people here that do. I read about this, and it made me think "By the time Jesus was preaching, Caesar Augustus was claiming to be God ( funny, how he wasn't wrong in a way lol ), but he couldn't stop Christianity from spreading." Now, to my understanding the major essence of Islam is its LAW SYSTEM, rules and relegation that are spread out of its own life philosophy. Therefore, it offers people a new system of making decision about living life, from various affairs such as marriage to business to even basic like eating food and drinking water. Now, If we go back to the time when it would have originated, what do we see, people are themselves claiming to be god, or the law are of their own making, where they own are supreme power that can amend the laws, the sole purpose of laws are living in order and justice which it doesn't really provide. They are not meant to lift people but to oppress and rule over them. So, I think a new system which is not just philosophy of life but also branch out into formulation of new set of law and order with the latest understanding of world at that point of time. I think, it would have been fascinating for people, it places god as the supreme and law giver, the rules cannot be changed, and Islam lifted even women according to those times. So, I think, it is because of this nature of Islam that it got so much popularity. It would have justified a law system worth having, and a life philosophy worth living at that point in time. Thoughts?????
