Title. When i'm trying to be present for too much time I feel this unpleasant feeling in front and lateral sides of my head. Eyebrows also get heavy and that sucks. Moreover I noticed when my eyes get tired or when they are sore my ability to be present drops, I think it is because I mentally connect my "presence" to clear eyesight, perhaps I need to unwire it, should I? Usually it's pretty good from morning to midday and then closer to night as I get tired being mindful gets harder and harder and actually "painful" physically, so I often just "shut down" and go to "sleep mode" Do you experience the same? Is it normal? Maybe I'm forcing a little bit too much -

@cetus56 But that is what i'm trying to do basically -
Please, share your experience on how you found your life purpose. What did u do? How did it happen? What frameworks did you use? What book helped you the most in this journey? Secodandary, did you go to university ? how did you align your life purpose with university degree? What major did you choose because of your LP and why?

Yeah I see. But do you have any techniques\mindsets to recommend on how to channel the sexual energy into something beautiful? -
I recommend to watch these 2 videos, they should be able to help you. The main point is to take responsibility for your life which means for your parent's mistakes too, just embrace it, let go, make a strategy how to unfuck up your life and move on (Many of us are doing simillar thing too, me included).

@YogiLogan Well, I'm kinda taking my yoga journey slow at the moment, not rushing with ton of different techniques. My main goals with yoga right now is to raise my body awareness, awareness in general and mind-body connection, results are pretty good so far. From what I understand kriya yoga is a more "sit and do stuff with your breath" kind of yoga. I've read a santa gamana book Leo suggested but I'm not sure how to do his kriya exercises correctly, I just don't feel very much from them and they are kinda scary to me (all these breath-stopping techniques). Not so much explanation is given in a book regarding exercises, just bunch of non-dualistic thoughts about enlightenment. Maybe I need to read this 400 pages book on kriya, i don't know. For now I focus on a more physical style of yoga, you can call it hatha I guess. Also reading zen-body book meanwhile which emphasizes body awareness too. I just figured the more I feel mindfulness in my body and in the present moment - the more consciousness I have and it helps me with my realisations in life. -

Guys is someone familliar with isha kriya by sadhguru? is it good? Also, is it possible to awaken kundalini energy via physical style yoga? I've seen playlists related to chakras with videos like this: So, it looks like conventional hatha yoga but with like 10x emphasis on mindfulness and chakras. Can it be called kriya yoga? How do you define kriya yoga? Is any practice that tries to elevate chakras = kundalini practice = kriya yoga? -

Tbh, i've read santa gamana book on yoga and have no idea how to do his exercises correctly. I don't feel anything from them. At least from kriya ones. I feel more from conventional yoga even. I think i'll look up what Sadhguru has, maybe it will be better for me -

Yeah, I resonate with you on this. Been studying a lot on this topic recently and I too fail to see how pure enlightenment and pursuing pure enlightenment will make my life amazing. Maybe I need more life experience and more frustration and discontent with life (with myself) to really have a motivation to do it, I don't know. However, I still do like these concepts "life is just a game and you can play it however you want and it doesn't matter in the end", "life is an illusion", "we live in the matrix". I'm just not ready to die... yet? I don't know, I really don't fucking know anything, man. Sometimes I feel like we dellude our selves here big time with all this "killing-ego" stuff. Although spiritual practices and thinking on this existential level didn't necessarily make me more happy, they gave me a ton of equinimity and sort of "peace". I became way less reactive over the last year cause I have an understanding (or maybe it's just a belief rather) that nothing really matters anyway. And it's kinda depressing at times -
I'd say i'm mix of orange\green\yellow with the biggest % in green\yellow. I've been like 10x more orange a year ago but now i'm kinda deconstructing this as I'm getting more life experience (Sex, relationships, different jobs, spiritual practices, knowledge) and moving to yellow and beyond. Got a lot of things still to embody at green tho (emotional blockages, learning to connect with other humans properly, etc) but I feel less and less orange everyday and more yellow. So I guess I'll just peg myself into green-yellow but I could aswell be orange-green. I also think I might have few % of turquiose cause I resonate with turquiose values a lot from Leo's video and try to embody turquiose stuff for myself.

I don't think it's a joke

I think his videos on mindfulness and awareness is what you're looking for. In my understanding of these concepts they are opposite to daydreaming -

So i've been recently watching various videos from orthodox christian priests on yoga\enlightntnment for the sake of having a different perspective. Mostly they all seem to be content when yoga is looked as just physical exercise and meditation as just some activity to "chill and calm the mind". But when it is looked as spiritual tool to achieve enlightnment and the state of no-self they become irritated and demonize such thing. They actually realize that succeeding in such virtue is equal to killing yourself (your notion of self), just as Leo describes it. But if Leo says that it is the EGO you're killing, they say it is the soul you're killing and once you do it you can no longer reconnect with God because you have no soul anymore and you don't exist. While Leo and this whole non-dual\yogic phylosophy sees it as a good thing, Christians see it as a bad thing. And that makes me very confused and wondering if Christians could be right. Can this notion of self be not ego, but, really, our soul instead? What if killing it will make it impossible to really reconnect with God and we just disappear completely out of existance if we do that and that will actually be the bad thing? They equate it to deadly sin such as "Killing" because ur killing someone, in that case, "yourself" Of course, in such line of thinking I tend to cling to the concept of myself (ego or soul, whatever you wanna call it) and this is usually seen as the wrong thing in all of this non-dual philosophy. But is it really the wrong thing? It can be my presious soul after all I noticed various religion leaders\teachers (Leo included) like to cherry pick evidence for their teachings from other religions. Leo sees non-dualism themes across almost all mystical traditions and cherry picks what supports his view while completely disregarding things that contradicts it calling it "nonsense" and that his non-dual experience made him be able to see that tnonsense and distinguish it from the reality. These priests do pretty much the same. They pick concepts of God and concepts of connection to God that they like in other religions and what they don't like they demonize by saying it is the Devil's work and people who do it are worshipping the Devil. What I found in myself and I think a lot of guys on this forum have it too is we tend to be very dogmatic and believe in things too easily. Especially in stuff that Leo talks about. Because we all like him and because he makes his material in a very convincing way. Of course, even he himself, emphasizes that we need to be individual-thinkers and question everything. But do we really do it? Do we question everything? Do we really derive everything for ourselves? I bet most of us don't and I noticed I myself is very lame in it aswell and it is not the proper approach for the work of this kind of seriousness. -

Hi, so I've been doing some conventional yoga for a while and got some good results from it in terms of body-awareness, movement awareness, overall more "balance" and mindfulness and I feel like I might be ready to start some serious yoga practice, to try this "chakras stuff" for myself, to see if that is real and if it works, to experience it. I've been mainly using youtube videos with instructors for my "casual yoga". Mainly "Yoga with Adrivene" if ur familliar with her. Can you advice me something simillar but someone with more knowledge\focus on kundalini aspects of yoga? Or maybe it's not a good idea to practice such thing by video and I need to read some book from Leo's booklist first? -
Leo, his content and community he has created is a hidden mine of gems, indeed. My story: I've heard a lot about benefits of meditation and wanted to try it. I started googling how do I do that properly and found a lot of (as I thought at that time) bullshit which caused a discontent in me. Then I decided to type "No bullshit guide to meditation" and stumbled upon Leo's video with exactly the same titlte I liked this video very much and started meditating from that day. I thought Leo is some kind of a monk from Zen monastery or something like this because he is bald and wearing very simple black cloth, so I didn't pay much attention to his channel at first , even though I enjoyed a lot of points from that video. After that his videos were popping up on my youtube feed and I started to click on some of them. In the beginning I was very wary and suspicious about him, because he spoke about very deep and controversial topics but I felt that he speaks the truth that noone likes to hear and talk about, that resonated with me even more, however made me even more suspicious. I found his content supervalueble, that was exactly what I needed in a way that I needed (Leo often emphisizes very serious, hardcore approach to life and it resonated with me so much). I devoured almost all videos on his channel only by 2 months. He earned my trust and I started to treat him in my mind like that very wise teacher from stories, who is helping the hero on his path. And that hero is of course - me.

Resonates so much. I have the same feelings when I think about my past -
I Double it. Exactly this. Just learn to embrace the fear and act despite it and you'll grow enormously from that. That's huge
