  1. My journey started from this ^ video a year ago
  2. So, i've been doing quite a lot of consciousness work recently (Meditation, yoga, self-inquiry, mindfulness throughout the day) and I feel a lot of sexual energy in me, my libido skyrockets. The question is how do I not waste it? How to transcend it and use it in a most beneficial ways? Masturbation lowers it, and when I spend it on masturbation (I don't currently have a gf), even though I have one of the most intense orgasms I ever had, I feel like i'm wasting it on some silly activity. I think I'd feel about not very intimate sex the same way if I had it. I've heard Leo talk about using sexual energy to fuel your work. But how do I do it properly? Especially if my work is intellectual (Right now I am reading and studying a lot + doing computer programming).
  3. I bought laptop specifically for reading\journaling. I just prefer pc software over tablet software. I love PDF and read 99% of the time in PDF (specifically because of Foxit PDF, it is a great software). And don't love epub\mobi\kindle formats because it is incovinient as fuck to read usually. If you know good software for these formats - let me know
  4. Why do you want to abandon acting?
  5. @Emerald Gotta contemplate everything for ourselves anyways. Do you plan to teach your kids how to meditate?
  6. @emerald Wow, didn't know you had kids. Did you watch Leo's videos on how to raise Rockstar kids? If so, what do you think about it?
  7. Yeah, why not. Google who Peter Ralston is if you're not familiar with him. A good example how one can combine a sport (he is martial arts master) and consciousness work Btw, highly recommend his books: "Zen body" (about body mindfulness, so good for sports) and "the book of not knowing" (I'd say it is a guide on how to contemplate properly and how to do consciousness work in general). I got the feeling that most of Leo's content on emotional mastery and contemplation was inspired by this guy
  8. His recent videos are very advanced. You need a certain level of development to understand them.
  9. Nice idea for thread I'll add some Getting married to a wrong person Making kids unconsciously (probably also with a wrong person) Going to college for a certain degree because your parents told you so or going to college at all because of your parents. Listening to parents too much in general (especially if they lean more to unconscious side, gotta accept them as they are). Reacting to shiny object too much Confusing map for territory Not putting effort to learn marketing\business skills (what you're doing doesn't matter) Judging and criticizing Ignoring consciousness work Ignoring contemplation, not thinking for oneself Getting lost in concepts Ignoring health issues Disrespecting value of proper nutrition Not commiting to life-long learning (stopping learning after college, etc, saw it in many of my friends) Confusing reading books for reading novels Trusting appearences too much, not being able to derive wisdom from things with non-shiny appearences. Sometimes someone might have a super valuable idea that could change your life but you disregard it simply because his or her "delivery" sucked and you didn't resonate with his "PRESENTATION" of that given idea. That's huge. Being obsessed with 10k hour and using it an excuse to not learn valuable skills Victim thinking, not taking 100% responsibility Being afraid to learn new skill because "you have no talent for it"
  10. Yes, of course. That's also what Leo stresses himself in almost all of his videos. Just need to be aware that there are deeper mazes and that "there is a bigger fish to try".
  11. I see it like this: conventional psychotherapist might help you with escaping surface level mazes (for example, hard drug or alcohol addiction, relationship abuses, etc) but he won't be able to help you with more fundamental mazes such as things like life and reality as we know it unless he is of course some enlightened therapist
  12. Agree, especially stuff in consciousness and yoga sections, and also in niche fields like writing\reading. Amazing
  13. @Strikr I shared this video not for the "pickup" part of it but to show how real intimacy can look like
  14. I double last comment Go watch this video from stage turquoise example megathread. Action starts from 1:50 ~. Will give you an idea about intimacy
  15. Try Strong determination sitting for 1h + observing any phenomena you experience without attachment for your meditation. You workout your equanimity muscle and learn to love discomfort\unpleasant feelings. Works wonders .
  16. These things you mentioned won't help with addiction that much imo. What I found works best to develop self-mastery (it includes unwiring from unwanted behaviour) is Strong determination sitting for 1h or more + do nothing technique (observation of your impulses\desires\sensations and surrendering to them). But that would probably be too hardcore for your target audience P.s. this topic probably belongs to meditation section or life purpose\business section
  17. Stories in your head . Try to get awareness that they are just stories
  18. That would be a dream
  19. This guy looks like enlightened version of RSD Max, damn I also think the way he does business can also be considered a "stage turquoise" business, he just "connects" to people on such a profound level. So inspiring. Thank you for sharing. I'd say that making business in general is about connecting to people, but the way red, orange, green and yellow do it is they connect to EGOS, but this is... this is a connection to "soul", amazing.
  20. Nice advice, aurum I think for most of us folks here that are into spirituality appropriate girls can be found near meditation\yoga centers. I also have the wibe that with them you are able be more honest, intimate and non-manipulative, you don't have to use pickup tricks as much. They value truthfulness and authenticity much more. And that's great. For me this is the type of women i'm looking for. But of course, it's not all that airy fairy. They have egos and "stuff" aswell, especially if they follow some corrupted tradition. But still, I find it much more enjoable to relate to people who are on spiritual "path"
  21. Nice one
  22. I found them super valuable. They make you pounder very deep and really go to the core of certain issues
  23. WARNING Next post contains many spoilers on how retreat is organized and what is being taught there.
