Peter Ralston "The book of not Knowing" and "The pursuit of consciousness". Most likely he got it from him and than adapted the method to himself slightly. Highly recommend checking out "The book of not knowing" if you haven't already, Peter Ralston is very hard on contemplation

Most of these multfilms (as well as comics) often have common themes of patriotism for your own race, country, etc. Us vs them with no nuance and no exceptions. Evil vs good (Our nation is good, invaders are bad, kill the invaders and everything will be good, all means are justified, invaders have no feelings). But I admit some have small green leitmotifs as well. And even stage blue stuff, although, it can bore you and deny all joy because you've seen it so much, can still be enjoyable, because people who make films make a pretty good job at storytelling, character creation, VFX, etc. By spiral dynamics, we judge cognitive\value development after all. These people make art. Not saying it is bad art, but the stories\ideas could be much more advanced than they are\were. For example, a lot of you probably watched "The pirates of the Caribbean" with Jonny Depp and a lot of you probably liked the movie. I liked it too, it's a pretty good movie. If we analyze the plot on a big picture level, though, basically we have the conflict between stage red (Piracy) and stage blue (British and Spain crowns) who are trying to pacify and civilize those pirates. Also, look for example at most of the superhero movies, they all work in the same way, the evil character is bad (probably some stage red guy, or maybe he can be orange, whoever they choose to demonize in that movie) and then there is a stage blue side that is represented by the super hero\humanity\country\etc, trying to stop this guy. Pure propaganda of patriotism. Not to mention, a lot of times there is also a big theme of family values going on. Like it is the highest virtue. You're basically getting brainwashed that, until you have kids and have a family and do somewhat good job as a citizen (no need for huge success and stuff like that ) - you're done. You're good. You're a honorable member of society and have all the respect. Which, of course, serves the agenda of those in power, they want only a small portion of people to be innovative, disruptive, etc, for the rest of the nation, they want us to be the sheep that has kids and supplies the country with "meat" so to speak. That's my take on this. Would love to know your opinions. I, personally, got sick of movies like that. They are too predictable and boring. I want more stage yellow\turquoise+ movies and there are some. For example, recently I've watched the Witcher series and i'd consider it to be a very yellow movie. Geralt is definitely stage yellow and the whole lense is quite yellow too. You can see it even by how they managed their VFX\art style of the movie and plot (which was written by the author of the witcher, of course). The different kingdoms have no face or no real personality, they are just dogs that are fighting for more and more power, caring only about preserving themselves, they dynasty and what serves them with no regard to truth, although everyone tries to claim although they are very truthful. This movie\novel directly emphasizes what madness these people live in and how meaningless it is from the outside, although, very meaningful for them.

Idk what problems you have with that. Around 60% of films for the past 20-30 years or so are deep stage blue, around 30% orange, 5% green and other 5% is some other in between

I personally like how Teal Swan approaches this topic of advanced vs beginner practitioner. She is talking to the audience as though they are already deep into this shit or at least she "assumes" they are. And it actually helps a lot, because there is way less fluff and back and forth explaining too basic stuff or choosing the "right" words that don't trigger stage blue\orange\green people. Maybe @Leo Gura will adopt a similar approach and "assume" even more things about his viewer.

Nice stuff, I'm huge user of commonplace book, so I admire your goal. Do you plan to make it live and sell it to other people? I think the best commonplace book environment we have software-wise is One Note. It's not perfect, of course. I would see how you can copy its best features and improve on them for (!) self-actualization target audience and improve on them. How to make it better

You've learned so much. You'll love the next guy even stronger\will be able to hold a better relationship with him. As we fail, we grow and improve. Don't underestimate how much you got from your life experience and appreciate it

On a more serious note, some fundamentals of business I found are: Product Creation\Product Development Branding of a product Marketing and Advertising Sales Customer Experience Business processes and Logistics (So everything is very efficient) Team Management, HR (If applicable, you can be solopreneur and make decent money as well, if not, it really helps to be good at leadership and managing people well, more people you employ - more important it becomes) One good way is to become very masterful at something and make the product out of it, it can be physical\digital product or the service\consultancy\coaching. You become T-shaped in some area-niche of your choosing and you also work on other biz fundamentals enough to have a harmonious stable biz that works consistently.

Leo can be woke af but lack magical skills to do it. Maybe if he'd practice witchcraft for some time he would be able to do it. You never know. -
@Leo Gura I remember after your last 30-day retreat you promised to share the cleansing protocols that seemed to work for you. Can you please share them? I feel shit despite being on low carb, low sugar, gluten-free, dairy-free, plant-based diet, regularly exercising\meditating and taking various vitamin supplements. Tried Vegan, but it didn't change the big picture much, although in some aspects I felt better at Vegan diet. I have a hunch that it might be due to heavy metals or simillar thing like that as I live in a fairly polluted envieronment here in Moscow and there is probably a lot of stuff in my house that i'm overlooking or can't afford to fix yet that might be causing problems - like shampoos, kitchen stuff, non-organic foods with pesticidies, etc. So I'm looking to try some cleansing with fasting and studying how to do it correctly so I don't hurt myself in the process. I'm doing my research, of course, but this industry is notoriously difficult to navigate in as there is too much celery juice advertisement or other kind of bullshit out there or material that doesn't really say much at all. So, your protocols or just some advice\principles you found would be highly appreciated and I think many people would say thank you ??.

Completely agree. Quit university couple years ago and don't look back From my own research, near all Tier 1 western countries are generally good and among the best at starting your own biz. If you start online, though, and go internationally, it doesn't matter where you are located.

Agree with @Raw Nature . If you're conscious enough, the entrepreneurship route is almost inevitable in 21st century if you want to build up good conditions for yourself

Another great way to approach this is from the opposite side: "What goal\purpose does instagram serve me? Why am I attracted to it so much?". You may find very insightful answers. For example, you might notice that you go to instagram when you hit brick wall in the current work that you do and you're tired and you use instagram as a distraction to have even tiny moment to relax and have your dopamine spiked. So hence, you'd find out that you probably need take breaks more often and relax in a more effective ways. ^ Such thing was definitely the case for me (Although not with Instagram). I had the tendency to "cram" my work and not take any breaks. And it backfired, since the mind seeks any opportunity to stop whatever you're doing and have some time to recharge. Maybe you can spot some simillar patterns in your case

Doesn't Instagram ban all sexual content? I think you should ask: Does instagram serve your goals? If it does and does it well - use it. If not - get rid of it. I personally don't see much value for myself here. I don't even use it for business purposes (although my biz is purely based online).
-
You can train yourself skills, get connections and learn business practices. You can create it all for yourself. About biz: In today's economy you don't really have to do business locally, you can do everything via internet. I'm doing my design business through internet right now as many other people

@zudrush I see you've been dabbling across many different fields and carreer paths. I think this might be one of your main problem. Did yoonsider focusing on one path that you really like and go deep in it? Like, become a really good expert in the field. Perhaps, even make your own biz in the long run that is related to this path or is close to it?

May I know what exactly stopping you right now and where do you live? Can you elaborate a bit more on details on your situation, what did you actually try? What jobs did you work on? You said something about education, did you manage to create some education for yourself to win decent jobs easier?
